Everyone there Is so nice and they always make sure that you are safe. They have amazing stable hands and great trainers. It's a great place for experienced and inexperienced riders. All of the horses are so nice and there Is always someone to help. Wildwind is like a family to me and is the best out of all of the stables I've been too. I came there with very little experience and within 4 months I was already showing. My riding really has gotten better. The office gets back to you super fast and has a super friendly environment no matter your age.

I would describe the lessons as helpful, vigorous, exciting, and rewarding. The camps here are phenomenal. Beginner and intermediate camps are absolutely amazing. I do believe the camp system could use lots of updates, but it is still fun for the kids. I was one of the counselors myself, and most of the kids enjoy the camp. Advanced camp however does tend to seem very oriented around cleaning instead of the horses. This is because of so many riders, and not enough horses for the kids to work with all day. The barn itself is gorgeous, with stalls cleaned every morning, and large day pastures as well as two year round outside pastures. Horses are well taken care of with grain and hay readily available. I will say, some of the website information is outdated, as well as all of these comments, so be sure to call the barn owner to ask for yourself. I have ridded, boarded, and leased from this facility for 12 years, and everywhere else i have gone has not been able to compare. That is why this place gets 5 stars. However i believe the camp system alone should get three stars for lack of improvement upon a broken system.

The other riders are friendly and this is a NO DRAMA barn (which as a mom of a teenager...I appreciate!!) Robyn is wonderful with my daughter who also suffers from anxiety. She is patient and understanding. My daughters skills have increased 10-fold under Robyn. In addition to riding, there are fun events, shows (if you choose) and horsemanship training for those who want to take their knowledge to the next level. I highly recommend GES.

The city of Novi has some great features (authentic Japanese food, 12 Oaks Mall, top-notch schools,…read moreetc) and if you're a canine parent, then you'll be happy to know that you and your tail wagging' pal are covered! I couldn't be happier about a place where my dog can just be a dog and meet other dogs (dogs, dogs, dogs!!). The park is HUGE and split into two parts (small and timid dogs on one side and big dogs on the other). I like this feature because it can be intimidating for an owner to watch their small 5 Ibs chihuahua try to run and keep up with the bigger breeds. The park usually has bowls for water and a fresh water supply (but it is turned off in the winter months). The park provides plastic bags to pick up after your dog and deposit his/her business in the receptor. They also salt around the park (during the icy season) with paw-friendly salt so you don't have to worry about it hurting your pal. As a visitor of the park, you'll need to register your information with the city and get a key fob. Novi shares its dog park with the city of Northville so as members, you can take advantage of both locations. The park is a fantastic avenue for dogs to get out their energy and play with their own kind. My dog enjoys the park so much and I enjoy it too because he sleeps for hours on end after a visit :-)

Amazing family fun park/pond. With small sandy beach/water access and volley ball courts…read more They have picnic tables and grills. Restrooms but no shower. There is no lifeguard on duty but there is always some one from the department patrolling for other violations. Talking about violations. NO alcohol/bottles, No animals. Plenty of parking. The sand, grass area, water is clean and well maintained. It does get dirty during peak hours but they do come clean few times a day. This pond is isolated from other water bodies around it. Keeps it little cleaner. Makes it good for scuba diving and there is some fishing as well. The have amazing trail system in the park for cycling and hiking. There is a trail around this pond. If you hike to the back of the pond, there is some water access (private beach). Or a spot to take your girl friend. There are two sand volleyball courts with net. One shed which can be reserved. This park is ideal because it's away from the crowded beaches around the area. Only thing, there could have been more trees in the lawn area for shade and tie your hammock.
