I called the Oneonta troopers and they could only give me his number and Putnam pest control number. I called Putnam first but could not get a hold of anyone there so I called Joshua. By this time it was about 5:30 am. He answered the call right away. I explained that I had a bat in my house and had taken the necessary steps to try to get it out but was unsuccessful. He asked me if I was sure if the bat was still in the house i replied yes its still in the house. He said ok and asked where I lived. I told him the city and he said that it was going to be about $150 for him to come out. I said that it was fine and that I would pay what ever. He came to my house and when he arrived I explained where I saw the bat last and where I thought it was. He looked around my living room and around my family room. He looked behind my blinds and my curtains downstairs. He looked at the stairs but did not go upstairs and look up there. He came back out and said that by now the bat is sleeping. Then he said that the time to call him would have been when the thing was flying around not after as if he was scolding me. Then he said that when I got comfortable back in the house if the bat flies again to call him. I became very upset that he was going to leave with out looking for the bat further. I told him there was no way that I could get comfortable with a bat still in my house and then he tried to tell me that I would have to get comfortable in the house and I told him that there was no way that I could sleep with a bat still in there. Then he said if the bat comes out to call him. I tried to explain that I didn't want to go back in my house. I would rather take my dog and sleep in the car. He said "no, you have to get comfortable in the house because then how are you going to know when the bat flies". Although he made sense i was way too petrofide to be in my house. Then he said that I did not need the blanket over my head. He was really rude. He said let me go get my business card for you. I started to cry because this bat was still in my house and he was going to leave. He came back from the car and handed me his business card. He tried to show me the vent that goes to my attic and show me the bat poop. Although I listened I didn't want to hear it because this bat was still in my house and that's what I was more worried about. He tried to tell me that this is what he does for a living and then asked what I did for a living. I became really upset and said it didn't matter. He got angry and started to leave. I said well what do I owe you and he said nothing. He got in his pick up truck slammed the door and left. I clearly was awake all day and stayed in the kitchen. 9:39pm. came and the bat began to fly again in the house. I called Joshua again and he didn't answer so I left him a message. About an hour later I called again and left another message. He still didn't answer me. Called again at like 11:18pm. this time I was hysterically crying and left him a message begging him to please come and get this bat. He ignored me again. Called him again at like 12:13am still crying again begging him to come and again got ignored. Then I called back at like 12:45am and realized that he had blocked me from calling so I started calling him back to back. IF YOU OWN A BUSINESS YOU SHOULD NOT BLOCK YOUR CUSTOMERS. THAT IS BAD BUSINESS. I'm also going to call the better business bureau and report him. I am seriously traumatized from the ordeal. Do not call this guy. Finally, after three hours of calling him and not getting a response I realized that I was on my own. Really bad business.

Gave me a 30 day guarantee (of which I should have protested) Regardless ONLY 30 days later after the warrantee expiration , I called them for only one more wasp nest at my house by the front door. As a longtime 10 year customer I thought that possibly they could waive the month or offer me a discount on following this up - but they said NOPE. They said they would come out and bill me another $300 for one missed wasp nest. Bad customer service + gauging = no customer loyalty

During last visit in April they rebaited the stations but didn't remove the 7 mice that was on the glue traps I installed. I paid for an outdoor bait station that was never treated with bait. Turns out that bait station didn't have the necessary spikes inside unit to put the blocks of poison onto. Never get the same tech to treat. Company seems not to care and certainly not customer oriented. Subpar service. Seek other company.

Although Ehrlich may offer expert technicians, it would appear to me that the first individual to appear at one's doorstep is a commissioned sales rep. Trained, is a matter up for debate. The fellow's conduct and character conducting my inspection was both suspect and underhanded. Ehrlich's call center agents were both professional and knowledgeable. It is noteworthy to point out that all (national) customer representatives had accurate information and were compatible with one another. In sum, they disputed i.e. struck down the salesman's pitch. I filed a complaint with the Johnson City, NY office; however, (and had posted this review on their site, yet, to date it has not been posted) and have not heard back from them re, among other things, that salesman's conduct.
