From the start, we were reassured by John's professionalism and obvious expertise. At every stage of the process, he let us know what he was finding and what our options were for dealing with it. He made recommendations (which we took) but left all decisions about modifications to our house and the fate of the animals he trapped up to us. He performed a thorough assessment of our property: inside and out, roof to foundation. He identified evidence of chipmunks, mice, and flying squirrels, and found their points of entry. He developed a plan, in consultation with us, for trapping the animals who were making their nests within our walls while leaving the innocents in the yard alone. John set several live traps, and over the course of about a week, caught a few chipmunks and determined that the flying squirrels had long since left their nests. He gradually closed up all their points of entry, found the exit trails of the mice, and closed those up, too. John guarantees his work for a year, but he's left us confident that our house is clear of all unwanted critters, and will remain so. John has been a pleasure to work with: friendly, informative, humane, patient, and responsive. We absolutely recommend Wildlife Resolutions, Inc.

He showed up promptly, had a look, and gave a reasonable estimate, but suggested an alternative, much less expensive, solution from another company in the area. We sincerely thanked him for his advice, freely and promptly given. With luck, we should not need to call him again, but I would not hesitate to do that.

I called the Oneonta troopers and they could only give me his number and Putnam pest control number. I called Putnam first but could not get a hold of anyone there so I called Joshua. By this time it was about 5:30 am. He answered the call right away. I explained that I had a bat in my house and had taken the necessary steps to try to get it out but was unsuccessful. He asked me if I was sure if the bat was still in the house i replied yes its still in the house. He said ok and asked where I lived. I told him the city and he said that it was going to be about $150 for him to come out. I said that it was fine and that I would pay what ever. He came to my house and when he arrived I explained where I saw the bat last and where I thought it was. He looked around my living room and around my family room. He looked behind my blinds and my curtains downstairs. He looked at the stairs but did not go upstairs and look up there. He came back out and said that by now the bat is sleeping. Then he said that the time to call him would have been when the thing was flying around not after as if he was scolding me. Then he said that when I got comfortable back in the house if the bat flies again to call him. I became very upset that he was going to leave with out looking for the bat further. I told him there was no way that I could get comfortable with a bat still in my house and then he tried to tell me that I would have to get comfortable in the house and I told him that there was no way that I could sleep with a bat still in there. Then he said if the bat comes out to call him. I tried to explain that I didn't want to go back in my house. I would rather take my dog and sleep in the car. He said "no, you have to get comfortable in the house because then how are you going to know when the bat flies". Although he made sense i was way too petrofide to be in my house. Then he said that I did not need the blanket over my head. He was really rude. He said let me go get my business card for you. I started to cry because this bat was still in my house and he was going to leave. He came back from the car and handed me his business card. He tried to show me the vent that goes to my attic and show me the bat poop. Although I listened I didn't want to hear it because this bat was still in my house and that's what I was more worried about. He tried to tell me that this is what he does for a living and then asked what I did for a living. I became really upset and said it didn't matter. He got angry and started to leave. I said well what do I owe you and he said nothing. He got in his pick up truck slammed the door and left. I clearly was awake all day and stayed in the kitchen. 9:39pm. came and the bat began to fly again in the house. I called Joshua again and he didn't answer so I left him a message. About an hour later I called again and left another message. He still didn't answer me. Called again at like 11:18pm. this time I was hysterically crying and left him a message begging him to please come and get this bat. He ignored me again. Called him again at like 12:13am still crying again begging him to come and again got ignored. Then I called back at like 12:45am and realized that he had blocked me from calling so I started calling him back to back. IF YOU OWN A BUSINESS YOU SHOULD NOT BLOCK YOUR CUSTOMERS. THAT IS BAD BUSINESS. I'm also going to call the better business bureau and report him. I am seriously traumatized from the ordeal. Do not call this guy. Finally, after three hours of calling him and not getting a response I realized that I was on my own. Really bad business.

All this without confirmation from me that I even planned on for sure engaging her services! Her incredible willingness to help landed her the service call, and she showed up in a moment's notice. Upon arrival, she got to work and analyzed the specimen using tools in her hand to diagnose the situation. She eventually shared with with me the her diagnosis and guided me on how to remedy, careful to point out what I can do myself without her further services and where she might be able to add value. I was so impressed by her knowledge, her willingness to help, her strong business ethic, and her great attitude that I will share her contact information with anyone that asks if I know a good exterminator (not to mention use her again myself if needed)!

    Dori, the owner of the business had us sign and pay ahead on a contract for 6 months of rodent…read moreprotection of our off grid camper for last winter and then did not show up for the last three months of the contract which left our camper unmonitored and overrun with mice. I fired her for breach of contract. She promised to pay us for the 3 months she did not show but she never paid us, giving excuses after excuses about why she failed to pay us back. She caused us harm and grief and lied repeatedly. I am suing her in small claims court and hope to save others from experiencing what happened to us. She was slick with her talk and is a real con artist.

    1 year later and still struggling and at my wits end with how Terminex schedules appts without…read moreconfirming the appts with you, then shows up when you're in work, etc. On June 4th I let the technician know I needed to be put on their schedule WITH CONFIRMING APPT WITH ME BEFORE COMING as "I have wasps outside & something going on again in sunroom ceiling, not sure what bug ‍ this time -- & as always, check cellar - traps, etc." Reply back from technician, "somehow you missed a quarterly service and I wasn't able to put you on the schedule without an additional charge." My reply back: "Because their last appt, they never told me their plans of coming until the night before & I wasn't here when I believe they got here the following day -- probably why. This has been an ongoing problem since I committed to Terminex service and why the manager Josh told me to schedule through him & not the main number as this is a recurrent problem with Terminex scheduling department. This has been an ongoing problem for me for over a year now. I never scheduled their last appt & let them know that. I had let my dogs out as well when I got home from work that morning & was so worried they had got here and treated property without me knowing, and let them know this too. I am going to have to find another service if this continues to happen". Technicians reply --"Okay, I'll talk with my manger when he gets back tomorrow. I'll have to schedule a different tech to go out to you." -- THAT WAS MONDAY (6/8/26), IT IS NOW FRIDAY (6/12/26) AND NO TEXT, CALL BACK NOR RESOLUTION. I have sent multiple pictures of the inside of my ceiling "snowing" insulation down around the ceiling light onto my couch, floor & dogs! PILES of insulation found that has fallen down by the time I arrive home from work. Also placed a call to the main customer service number who has forwarded this issue to the service department "who will call me within 24hrs". Beyond frustrating -- after paying initally over $5,000 to initiate this service a Terminex salesman sold to me 2 winters ago, $70 ongoing monthly auto payments and $500 to renew this service this past December 2025. And then be told I may have to be charged for a technician to come and address an existing rodent, wasp, possible termite situation for months now BECAUSE TERMINEX SCHEDULED A QUARTERLY APPT WITHOUT COMFIRMING APPT WITH ME UNTIL THE *NIGHT* BEFORE VIA TEXT, SHOWS UP THE NEXT MORNING AND I AM AT WORK !!! And I should be charged an additional fee for them to come now to address ongoing pest(s) issue for months?!

It's been 2 months since the service, and the problem still exists. I have called many times over the last 3 weeks, and get the same run around. I would not recommend using this company. I have spoken with local branch and corporate nothing has helped.
