Upstairs they had quite a line dancing event going on and we heard the stomping above us. There were a lot of folks there for line dancing, then, later, for the live music. We called the people in charge and they were all out of town and could not do anything about it. The owner still has not reached out to me but the event planner said the owner is blaming us for the damage to the amplifier. The input we were using did not even go past three bars and never into the red on the amp. Their Microphone was a stronger input than our laptop. Not only that, they are keeping our deposit because they said we damaged it. They owe us $250. Since I do music for a living, I can tell you that nothing we did damaged it. Perhaps a previous party did, but not us. Also, their paper towel dispenser did not work and there was trash in the kitchen when we got there. We left that place spotless as we do every place we use. It is ludicrous that they are blaming us. It ruined Lucy's sweet 16 party. You only turn 16 once. The owner still refuses to contact us and they will not let me have sound experts in the area look at the amp to see what happened.

Was informed that " SPECIAL " cleaning should have been requested , and they were on a " schedule " for that ! Just a word of advice. If you come to the Mansion, BE CAREFUL! A flock of Geese basically have claimed this place as their own. You'll typically find them in massive flocks. DO NOT mess with the Geese. They are nasty, dangerous creatures who will hurt you if you provoke them. ESPECIALLY when they are nesting. Well, at the very least, they make the place look more beautiful when they're all together. Take a look for yourself and be the judge. As far as the barn goes, it was pretty empty. I was told it was used for events but it didn't seem to be open during FunFest. It makes me wonder what this barn is used for.
