Folks are friendly and the neighborhood is great. (Full disclosure: my parents live in the Lakes and my dad golfs regularly.) Blossoms is the latest incarnation of the Magnolia Greens golf course clubhouse restaurant. I first reviewed it back in 2011, when it was called Magnolia Grill. While the interior may have been updated in the intervening years, the boxy space is the same. You definitely get a "golf course clubhouse restaurant" vibe here, and I assume patrons are primarily from the neighborhood, or golfers. It's a friendly place to gather and eat before or after a round of golf. Destination dining, it is not. Breakfast and lunch menus are available, and it's your basic golf course clubhouse food. A selection of salads and sandwiches at lunch, and all the breakfast basics earlier in the day. There are few gluten free options, but I was able to enjoy the Blossoms salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette. (I heard on good authority this salad is a favorite of the ladies' golf group.) It's a large portion, and leftovers kept well for another meal the following day. My husband opted for the cheeseburger and fries, which he deemed below average. "Two star, tasted like meatloaf." The all-beef hot dog plate that wandered by our table looked good, and may be an option for me on a return visit, sans bun. Informal surveys of the regulars seem to indicate that breakfast is the best meal served at Blossoms. So get there early and fill up before hitting the links.

The staff has been professional and courteous, the pro shop. Staff are very helpful, they are mix of local people along with a few people from different backgrounds and other parts of the country. How have now retired here. The practice facilities such as the driving range and the putting greens are in good condition they offer military discounts stay and play packages. They are very accommodating are spacious.

I was using the range and listened as he helped a raw beginner start hitting the ball straight and far. His explanations were very easy to understand and the young lady he was helping was well on her way to enjoying golf now thanks to Kelly. I asked him for a tip, he without hesitation determined my swing flaw, gave me an easy correction and had me effortlessly hitting my hybrid straight and to the back woods. My wedges and irons became straight and easy. If you need a swing golf fix Kelly is your guy! The range is open all the time! He will make a beginner love the game or he will fix anything in your game that might be frustrating you or has room for improvement. Came here this weekend for golf. We golfed at Byrd Course. I really enjoyed it! I thought the…read morefairways were in great condition. And I loved that the golf cart had a gps attached. They also prepared all carts with wooden tees and water. Overall had a great time but the pace of play was horrible for the first 9. We got stuck behind a 2 groups and they were so slow. I wish the starter had done better with keeping the play moving.

After our round, we stopped inside to the main bar area in the sports bar section. We met with our bartender Logan, who was extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable about golf in the area ,as well as Bourbon's and the like . To say that this place is now a must hit venue would be an understatement. This will now be the legends of the north. The facilities for stay and play packages are going to be outstanding. And the restaurants and bars are beyond top-notch. If you're looking for somewhere to stay on a golf package look no further.
