They provide name tags so everyone can get to know one another more easily. The crash course brings you up to speed with no prior knowledge needed. The instructors are skillful and offer great explanations. The founder's (Allison) passion is evident. She makes every effort to ensure the space is safe, welcoming, and fun. The best part is the social dancing afterwards. Everyone is so inclusive and friendly. We have met many friends through this group and now we make it a point to go to every event they're hosting. Highly recommended…read more **Instructor** I recently attended a West Coast Swing dance class taught by Steve, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I discovered Steve to be an incredible instructor, and his passion for dance was truly inspiring. His knowledge of the style was evident in every step. West Coast Swing has a lot of technical aspects, and Steve's attention to detail was truly refreshing. He gave instant feedback and demonstrations about form and techniques! This level of real-time interactivity can *never* be achieved from watching a YouTube video. You need to be here IRL!! **Atmosphere** The dance class itself had a fun, casual, and welcoming environment. The studio is large and spacious and has two dance floors with blonde hardwood flooding that is easy to move about. The place is clean and unclutter with ample free parking outside. I found the classes to be reasonably priced with options for taking one-class-at-a-time or enrolling for an entire series of classes. After my first two very positive experiences, I decided to enroll for the entire series. **Other classes** In addition to West Coast Swing, the studio also offers classes in other dance forms. I haven't had the opportunity to take them yet. **Overall** I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to learn west coast swing or improve their skills.

The school administration and handling of families, schedules and financial accounts warrant 0 stars. Be very wary of what classes you sign up for, as they may arbitrarily change the class timing, and keep your entire payment, regardless of whether you attend a class. We had signed up for the Summer Creative Movement class which was scheduled for Wednesday 5:45 - 6:30pm. After the sign up process was done, the timing for the Summer class was arbitrarily changed to a later evening time which we could not attend. Given that the new timing for the class was not one that we could attend, we had to withdraw from the class. We were provided an email note stating that our account would carry a credit of $70 at the time. After about 3 months of following up by email and phone, they have refused to return our monies for the class that we physically could not attend. There should have been an exception made in this scenario as the change in class time was completely beyond our control. However, they've refused to provide a fair resolution to the matter. My recommendation, stay away. There are plenty of dance studios to choose from and this in one that I will not be recommending to friends or family.

I have gotten into NYSSSA (New York State Summer School of the Arts) and without the guidance of the amazing teachers, I would never be where I am today.
