This review is for private dance lessons with Kurt and his co-teacher, Ellie. With only four…read morelessons, Kurt and Ellie transformed me and my now-spouse from klutzes into respectable dancers. We contacted them about two weeks before our wedding--the panicked point at which we realized we wanted to look good dancing our first dance as a married couple. (Note: I advise contacting them much, much sooner.) Thanks to their patience, good humor, and most of all, their SKILL in teaching the non-gifted the basics; we made it through our first dance very well. In fact, we actually got compliments from many of our guests on how well we danced. What I like most is that the spouse and I now have a new, social, active hobby the two of us can pursue together. My girls have developed a love for dance because of this studio and all the instructors. The owner is very knowledgeable as well as very personable. She knows all the students who attend and interacts with everyone. All of the staff is just amazing. I highly recommend the studio whether your child wants to do dance for fun or take it more seriously, this is a great school to attend.

The first day when I pulled up 15 minutes early my 6 year old was already waiting in the parking lot for me. She had taken the wrong class and gotten out early. No one noticed she was in the wrong class and no one noticed her walk out the building or her waiting in the parking lot area alone. Then on another occasion she was dared by an older kid to go outside naked she did and again no one noticed a her go outside even naked. I should have known better than to let her be there on her own shame on me I won't do that anymore. The parking lot is muddy a large part of the year that's hard on shoes and vehicle interior. There's no large viewing window. There's a window in the door you can look through but you risk getting hit by the door, being in the way and other parents are also trying to look through the window. The cost is about 85$ a quarter and the class is about 40 minutes long once a week we did a recital of the Nutcracker last winter it was performed at Cayuga College. The Spring performance is going to be Wizard of Oz. This is a revision review as the owner did call me today to introduce herself to me and also to address these issues. She also let me know I had the cost wrong on my old review I fixed it now to reflect the correct price.

My instructor was great. He knew exactly how to tune my driving to a way that was suitable for my…read moreroad test. He was good at analyzing the small patterns in my driving and train me to a point where I became very confident. I could tell he cared that I have the highest chance of passing. However, the ABLE 2 driving school as a whole is a mess. They are so uncoordinated, and it's quite frustrating. I had lessons scheduled twice a week, and there were times when I didn't have a lesson scheduled for the following week, and nobody told me why. Even my own instructor didn't know why. It could be that the instructor is not available someday, or someone else is doing a road test with the car you drive, etc... It's like they cancel lessons without telling you. I currently have two lessons left, and I am approaching my road test. Since my road test hasn't been scheduled yet, I had no idea when my next lessons would be. So, to fix this, I called and scheduled a lesson with Kim, and few days later I called again for conformation, and I was told that I have zero lessons scheduled in the future, as I was told "I don't know, I can't help you" in a clueless fashion. It's like they forget to write things down. Also, be ready to cycle between three different cars. I didn't really have the opportunity to get comfortable with one car. At the hefty price that I paid, that would surely be appreciated. The only good thing about this school was the instructor's ability to instruct, and that's that matters most. Just be ready to deal with a ton of nonsense on the back end.
