Sweet n spicy Brussels sprouts - very spicy, if you don't like the heat, ask that they don't put the peppers on top

I had a fun evening here with my coworkers for a little mini golf challenge. We got to play two 9-hole courses and the magic ball tracked our scores. Tip: even if you're not winning, that last hole can change everything! The place is so cute with neon lights and a little voice in the ceiling cheering you on. We were able to get some beverages while we played, and there are tables with purse hooks at each hole so you can take your stuff with you and put it down while you putt. The course is fun, some trivia and neat challenges. After our games, we had some food and drinks. The first question the server asked was "Does anyone have any allergies?" (Yes thank you!!) We got a variety of sharables and I have to say the margarita pizza/flatbread on the gluten free crust was AMAZING.

Been to Dania Pointe tons of times but never knew this restaurant/bar/Goony Golf place was here until tonight, although it did only open eight months ago. As soon as we entered, an arcade vibe was instant with a large brightly lit bar center stage and a kitchen in the distance. The manager Angie was super outgoing and explained the FUN concept and the $5.00 happy hour drinks and bites menu. My wife's heart was set on an Aperol Spritz specialty cocktail for only $10.00. Watched basketball on the several monitors throughout. Several interactive golf putting machines but the main FUN was the futuristic Goony Golf at the back of the venue but it was loaded with kiddies and thier parents. We decided to return on a weeknight and play Goony Golf to avoid the kiddie invasion. Thought that $21.00 for two adults for 2 rounds of golf was reasonable. FUN FUN EXPERIENCE here with friends - watch - play - eat - drink...

This is a great place to spend on a date night or with kids. The playing area is not huge by any means but if you get the unlimited you'll be able to take a break and get some food or hangout at the bar. Nice vibe and employees are super helpful. It's fun if you go with a group. But I recommend to go unlimited or else you'll be done in 30 mins. Overall it's a nice place to hangout and relax.

This is def one of my new faves in Dania Pointe! They are located at the northern part of the shopping center and there is a garage nearby if you're hunting for parking. Puttshack is great for so many fun occasions like a date night or birthday party and they have a nice happy hour during the week that goes from 3-6 Monday through Thursday. This day, our party of four did the All You Can Putt and it was nice to be able to do all three courses for 25 bucks a person. I think that's the better option because one game can go pretty quickly. It can get pretty competitive especially because you lose a few points each time you hit the ball. It's all in good fun and I would definitely go back.

It definitely felt like miniature golf of the future! There were several different options for the 9 hole courses. There were unique obstacles in the way, some gave extra points for trivia. It was a different scoring system than any other golf I ever experienced. It was nice being able to have real-time score updates and not needing to carry around a scorecard. Staff was very friendly and while there were a lot of people around, the games moved pretty quickly. My group and I were very focused on trying to make it up high on the daily leaderboard. I would definitely go back and try the other courses!

A seamless and enjoyable experience. I've seen negative reviews about this place being packed and I can see how that can be a frustrating experience during busy times. I went during the week and did the 9 hole experience. I would recommend getting a little tipsy (if you drink) then doing the 18 hole if you're doing a date night experience. Overall I enjoyed my night out when the venue is a little less busy and relaxed.

After eyeing this place and a long long wait for this to open, it finally did recently and I'm so glad to have come here! I've gone two times now and the first time was about a few days or after they first had officially opened. Instantly greeted by the staff asking if we were dining, playing or both and they explained the whole process. We had gotten a reservation booked to play the first time and arrived early before my time so while we waited the staff suggested we can sit in the lounge or even at the bar if we wanted a couple drinks. We got to talking with the bartenders as well as the manager and everyone was super friendly. It was nice learning more about the place and how things have been since they opened! The bar is incredible and they have plenty of different options for a variety of tastes as well as non alcoholic options, which is always nice. While I still haven't eaten here, I hope one day to try out some of the food or even a few small bites at the bar. Playing the game was straightforward if you've played mini golf before. However, the interesting part of this is that there's a lot of interactive technology involved so keeping track of your scores is done for you as your assigned golf ball tracks your putts and when it's your turn! Makes things easier. It's extremely unique with how each hole is set up. There are two courses each with 9 holes and you can choose to do one course or both. Each hole is cool having different inspired games/ themes such as Connect Four, Pac Man, Tetris, classic arcade games! The air hockey one is awesome as like some of the others it moves to make it more of a challenge as you putt. If you didn't want to drink at the bar or are craving a drink as you play they offer drinks to serve directly to you while playing. It's a cool concept! Love this place and it's great for all ages. Highly recommend trying it out and the best part is that it's inside away from the heat!

I heard they opened a new puttshack in Broward. Finally got a chance to check it out! This is located in Dania point which is great. Free parking in the deck. We sat at the bar. All of the bartenders were great! The drinks were amazing! I had a passion fruit margarita. Everything on the menu sounded good! Folks around us cosigned. I went with the OG which hit the spot. Didn't play a round of golf but watched football on the big screen. Will definitely be back.

Stopped by on a weekday afternoon with a friend so we arrived with no reservations. It was pretty empty so we were checked in and started right away. The concept of this mini golf establishment is pretty cool, very interactive with trivia questions and other ways to make the game more enjoyable. We completed all 18 holes within 1 hour, the only downside is the system malfunctioned a good 3x so we constantly had to walk over to get help resetting it. Other than that, we had a good time. I would go back and take advantage of their bar as it looks like a good time for the weekends. I didn't eat here so not sure how the food is.

    Bonus!

I've heard many great things about Puttshack and had to check it out myself! There are 4 different sections at this location, each with 9 holes. The "diamond" section is the only one where you are aiming at what looks like a TV screen. The other 3 sections have the 9 hole "course" (they really make use of the space they have). Puttshack offers a fun and competitive way to enjoy putt putt. They are a restaurant, they have a bar and you can even order drinks to enjoy on the course. Every hole in a section is different, but some are similar to the a few other holes in the other sections. I love how you do not need to track your score or how many shots you take as your ball tracks all that for you. What's nice is you do not have to go in order, but the 9th hole has to be the last for the ball return. You can either book online or at the location. For both, you either have to check in or book via the iPads mounted on the wall. The stand in the front is more of a host stand for seating in the restaurant. Check them out!

First timer but have been to the brickell location. This one is new and I think still getting themselves figured out. Our party of 6 had a reservation but they were unable to locate it so it took about 30min to get us situated and golfing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and will give it another shot maybe on a weekend. Thursday's they close at 11pm so it was a quick in and out vibe due to lost time checking in. We enjoyed the food and they have a full bar. Fun drink selections as well. Aside from the system issues this place is clean and a fun spot for date night or even a family night with the kids. Would recommend, just a fair warning to be patient as they are new and still figuring out their flow.

Glad to see a fun, wholesome, adult themed mini golf in our area! It is very modern and unlike traditional mini golf where you have to keep track of everyone's points. Here there's tech confused at each station and a sensor in the mini golf ball. As soon as you place it on the floor, it knows what user the ball is registered to and keep track of the points . There are several tracks at this location - at least 4. What's unique about Puttshack is that it's more on the adult oriented side, with a bar and restaurant in the very center. You can grab a drink from the bar and take it along with you while you mini golf. They have little tables that you can set it down at while you golf. Had an informal party event here. This is the second location that I visited. The first being the location in Scottsdale, Arizona as soon as I heard this one was opening I was very excited. I needed some low-key wholesome fun together a group of friends that didn't involve heavy drinking or strenuous activity. This was the perfect spot. I did not book a formal party room, but rather registered guests into two groups and had us go around together. It was a great time! I recommend this for a date night or a group hang out!

We came Saturday afternoon and we were worried about the wait time, but there was no wait! At first the customer service sucked. We had asked three employees by the entrance to help us join a party together so we can play in the same slot and we asked where the location we were assigned to go play was located and none wanted to help. They looked bothered we were interrupting their conversation and even more annoyed that the kiosk couldn't answer our questions. However, once we made it to the actual game of mini golf the employees in that location were so nice and interactive! I wanted coffee and the employee went above and beyond to make sure I had some! This was so nice! We played the 9-hole game and it was only $14. Not bad for a game of mini golf. Very interactive, very high-tech, and fun! We didn't order any food, but it smelled great! This Location is huge inside with plenty of seating everywhere and around the bar. I will definitely be coming back again!

Their stylish bar is immediately on the left side with counter seating and tables. The dining area is straight ahead with check-in as you enter. The staff are friendly and welcoming here. Our server was Kevin, who was very attentive and at our table within a minute with helpful recommendations and brought us nice cold water right away, which was appreciated. We ordered their white Sangria, which was really good! They know how to make them! Very refreshing! My daughter ordered the Prime Rib with Parmesan mashed potatoes for her main meal. I ordered the RibEye steak with Parmesan mashed potatoes. Here is where Superior Service comes in! Kevin and John, the manager, came to the rescue immediately. It was not Kevin or John's fault whatsoever but the mashed potatoes were over-salted and inedible. Both my daughter's and mine. My ribeye was tough, not tender, and had a very strange bitter taste to it that I couldn't handle. Kevin was on it right away and asked what I would like to substitute with. I picked the Prime Rib because my daughter said hers was delicious. She switched to the Loaded Baked Potato and so did I. My Prime Rib was excellent. The problem was solved quickly and the replacements were delicious. Our Mother's Day dinner was a success after all. Then, on top of everything, John presented us with a VIP Mother's Day $10 gift card for our next visit. We topped it all off by ordering the Chocolate Brownie with caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream. It was outstanding!! The Brownie was chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. Firebird has a great menu with lots of delicious looking items on it. We will be back soon to try other things that caught our eyes. And ask for Kevin's area! Parking is on the street. We found a spot easily even though Dania Pointe mall was very busy.

Like "let's take pictures before we eat because this patio belongs in a lifestyle magazine" gorgeous. Las Olas energy at its finest. The outdoor seating is fantastic, the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy, and honestly, the food was outstanding. Which is why this hurts. We came for Mother's Day brunch and intentionally avoided rushing over for happy hour pricing because we wanted a relaxed meal. Adult decision. Responsible. Mature. Mistake number one apparently. Started with the charred corn and avocado dip and I need whoever created that dish to be recognized with some sort of civic award. Ridiculously good. One of those appetizers where you immediately start calculating whether licking the bowl in public is socially acceptable. Then came the steak and eggs discussion. My wife and I were both looking at the steak and eggs listed on the menu for $26.75. Our waiter explained that the standard steak was only four ounces and casually suggested upgrading to a six ounce or eight ounce cut instead. Now listen carefully because this is where the plot twists into a financial thriller. At no point during this conversation was pricing for the upgrade mentioned. And shame on me for not asking. That part is absolutely on me. But the suggestion was delivered with the same casual energy as "would you like fries with that?" So I upgraded to the eight ounce. My wife went with the six ounce. She also had a margarita she loved. We skipped dessert because we were stuffed and, as it turns out, accidentally entering a luxury cattle futures market. Then the handheld payment machine arrived. $175. I stared at that screen like it had just informed me my mortgage was due immediately. Turns out those extra six ounces of sirloin between the two plates carried an upcharge that could finance a small fishing boat. Roughly ten dollars an ounce for the upgrade. Somewhere, a Wagyu cow laughed at me from a distance. And look, before anybody jumps in, yes... I should have asked. Lesson learned. But restaurants also know exactly what they're doing when upgrade pricing gets floated around casually without numbers attached. There's a difference between upselling and a sneak attack. Which makes this review frustrating because I genuinely loved almost everything else. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic. Service was friendly. But nothing tanks the ending of a brunch quite like feeling blindsided by steak math. Pro tip for future diners: If they suggest the upgraded steak, ask the price immediately. Ask twice. Possibly get it notarized. Three stars because I really do want to come back someday. But right now I still feel like I got hit with a reverse happy hour.

We opted to sit outside, since it is waterfront and even though it was a hot summer day, it was surprisingly manageable since our covered table made all the difference while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. We kicked things off with cocktails, and some wine and the Sun Kissed Cocktail was an excellent choice. Not only was it delicious and refreshing, but the presentation was absolutely stunning . a real rose embedded inside an ice cube. It was almost too beautiful to drink... almost. For appetizers, we went with the Tropical Ceviche and the Tuna Tacos, and both were incredible. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I loved the mango touch that both dishes shared as it added the perfect tropical sweetness. Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We also shared the Lobster Diavolo Pasta which was equally impressive and packed with generous chunks of lobster throughout the pasta, plus a whole small lobster to crack into. And then there were the side of Brussels Sprouts ... honestly, I never thought I'd be raving about a side dish, but here we are. Served shredded rather than whole, and tossed in the most incredible sauce, these were hands down some of the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had in my life. A must-order. Boatyard exceeded every expectation. The food, the atmosphere, the presentation .. all top tier. My cousin picked a winner, and we'll absolutely be back!

To start our experience, we arrived early and asked for outdoor seating, which was available. Our waiter came by and I asked for water for everyone along with a starter. Our waiter brought water, but only filled the four glasses on the table and quickly took off, leaving me (in the middle with no glass or setup), with nothing to drink. The app was also delivered and the server took off quickly before I had a chance to ask for anything. The starter was a finger food that was sticky, so I could not start without a plate and napkin. We ordered drinks too, most of which were DELICIOUS - I'm thinking of you, Golden Old Fashioned and Sandbar Spritz! The Island Hopper, not so much. Couldn't put our finger on it, but just not right for either of those who ordered, nor any of the others who tasted it. For apps we had the Bimini Bread, which is always outstanding, and the Kingfish Spread, which was also delicious. Once the fish spread was delivered however, we began to attract a lot of flies. We watched as another table had fans delivered to keep flies away. We ordered our entrees, including Paella and Chop Salads. By now the flies were quite bothersome, so we asked for help, and the server finally brought one fan over. When it was dessert time, despite having made notice in the reservation, it was quite obvious that our server had no idea we were celebrating. I had to specifically ask for dessert menus, and he never offered a dessert. We had the Key Lime Baked Alaska - just ok, and the Butterscotch Bread Pudding. Also just ok. The service on this night was sorely lacking and led to a negative experience. It's interesting that for a party of 5 or more, there is a mandatory 18% service charge. I haven't tipped less than 20% since Covid. Had they NOT included the mandatory tip, I still would have tipped 20%, but honestly, I think our server deserved considerably less (we are talking about a bill over $400.). Boatyard was always my Ft Lauderdale go-to, but I think we will branch out to some other restaurants after this experience. Very disappointing for the price paid to have such poor service.
