For dinner, Lucia was our server, she was super friendly and great. We ordered wings, the Quesabirria (which came with fries), and the pepperoni flatbread. Wings: the Korean Sweet Heat is where it's at. It's not super spicy and it's got a great sweet-savory flavor. We also got the chipotle bbq dry rub, which was also tasty. Quesabirria: it was pretty good! I with the consomé had a bit more flavor but I would order it again. Pepperoni flatbread: Ours came out slightly underdone for my taste. It was cooked thoroughly and the manager gave us the option of sending it back to be cooked well done, but we opted not to against our better judgement. It tasted fine while at the restaurant though. We ended up taking it home and I cooked it further in my air fryer the next day, and it was much better. So if you like your pizza/flatbread well done, make sure you ask for that. My company had a team outing here on a weeknight, and overall it was a mixed experience. Our waitress was fantastic--attentive, responsive, and friendly throughout the evening. It wasn't overly busy, but there were a few other large groups, and the staff did a nice job setting aside an area for our team 5/5. We ordered a variety of appetizers and shareable plates including sliders, pizza, chicken quesadillas, popcorn shrimp, and salad. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best (2/5). The sliders didn't taste or resemble quality beef, the pizza somehow managed to be both dry and greasy at the same time, and the quesadillas were pretty skimpy on the chicken. Popcorn shrimp was mostly breading. Surprisingly, the standout dish of the night was the coleslaw salad, which had fresh, crunchy vegetables and plenty of flavor. The actual putting course was the highlight of the experience. The game was fun, creative, and well-designed. However, most of our group was new to the concept, and the employee who was supposed to explain how the courses worked didn't really provide any instruction. We mostly figured it out ourselves. It wasn't enough to ruin the fun, but a quick introduction would have made the experience much better for first-time visitors. We recently went to Puttshack for a little date night and had a really good time overall. We started with food and drinks before golfing, and everything we ordered was tasty. The service was also really attentive, maybe even too attentive at times because we had our waitress plus two other employees checking on us throughout dinner lol, but everyone was very nice. After eating, we did the 18-hole mini golf option. The courses were fun, interactive, and definitely made for a good date night activity. The only downside was that between the different sections, some of the obstacles felt repetitive. I think it would've been even better if every hole had something completely different and unique. Came here on a Saturday night and honestly, it was a nightmare . The lines were super long, and our ball-to-screen connection kept malfunctioning, which made the experience frustrating. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowd, so the service wasn't the greatest, although I'm sure the high volume of people played a big part in that. This is a very fun place perfect for a family night out or a date night. I reserved the time online through their website which is very easy. You pick your "tee time" and can also reserve for dining. We played two of the 9 hole courses. The best part is you don't have to go in order as long as the last hole is played last since it takes the ball. So you don't have to be waiting behind the party in front of you. It's a lot of fun and we had a blast laughing at ourselves and our bad golfing moves. The ball keeps track of the score and how many hits you take. You can glance up at the screen and see who's winning. It took about an hour to complete both courses. You do have the option to take a pause and eat in between or get a drink. You can also take the drinks with you on the course. Puttshack is always a good time! read more

I had a fun evening here with my coworkers for a little mini golf challenge. We got to play two 9-hole courses and the magic ball tracked our scores. Tip: even if you're not winning, that last hole can change everything! The place is so cute with neon lights and a little voice in the ceiling cheering you on. We were able to get some beverages while we played, and there are tables with purse hooks at each hole so you can take your stuff with you and put it down while you putt. The course is fun, some trivia and neat challenges. After our games, we had some food and drinks. The first question the server asked was "Does anyone have any allergies?" (Yes thank you!!) Been to Dania Pointe tons of times but never knew this restaurant/bar/Goony Golf place was here until tonight, although it did only open eight months ago. As soon as we entered, an arcade vibe was instant with a large brightly lit bar center stage and a kitchen in the distance. Watched basketball on the several monitors throughout. Several interactive golf putting machines but the main FUN was the futuristic Goony Golf at the back of the venue but it was loaded with kiddies and thier parents. This is def one of my new faves in Dania Pointe! They are located at the northern part of the shopping center and there is a garage nearby if you're hunting for parking. Puttshack is great for so many fun occasions like a date night or birthday party and they have a nice happy hour during the week that goes from 3-6 Monday through Thursday. This day, our party of four did the All You Can Putt and it was nice to be able to do all three courses for 25 bucks a person. I think that's the better option because one game can go pretty quickly. It can get pretty competitive especially because you lose a few points each time you hit the ball. It's all in good fun and I would definitely go back. read more

After eyeing this place and a long long wait for this to open, it finally did recently and I'm so glad to have come here! I've gone two times now and the first time was about a few days or after they first had officially opened. Instantly greeted by the staff asking if we were dining, playing or both and they explained the whole process. We had gotten a reservation booked to play the first time and arrived early before my time so while we waited the staff suggested we can sit in the lounge or even at the bar if we wanted a couple drinks. We got to talking with the bartenders as well as the manager and everyone was super friendly. It was nice learning more about the place and how things have been since they opened! The bar is incredible and they have plenty of different options for a variety of tastes as well as non alcoholic options, which is always nice. While I still haven't eaten here, I hope one day to try out some of the food or even a few small bites at the bar. Playing the game was straightforward if you've played mini golf before. However, the interesting part of this is that there's a lot of interactive technology involved so keeping track of your scores is done for you as your assigned golf ball tracks your putts and when it's your turn! Makes things easier. It's extremely unique with how each hole is set up. There are two courses each with 9 holes and you can choose to do one course or both. Each hole is cool having different inspired games/ themes such as Connect Four, Pac Man, Tetris, classic arcade games! The air hockey one is awesome as like some of the others it moves to make it more of a challenge as you putt. If you didn't want to drink at the bar or are craving a drink as you play they offer drinks to serve directly to you while playing. It's a cool concept! Love this place and it's great for all ages. I've heard many great things about Puttshack and had to check it out myself! There are 4 different sections at this location, each with 9 holes. The "diamond" section is the only one where you are aiming at what looks like a TV screen. The other 3 sections have the 9 hole "course" (they really make use of the space they have). Puttshack offers a fun and competitive way to enjoy putt putt. They are a restaurant, they have a bar and you can even order drinks to enjoy on the course. Every hole in a section is different, but some are similar to the a few other holes in the other sections. I love how you do not need to track your score or how many shots you take as your ball tracks all that for you. What's nice is you do not have to go in order, but the 9th hole has to be the last for the ball return. You can either book online or at the location. For both, you either have to check in or book via the iPads mounted on the wall. The stand in the front is more of a host stand for seating in the restaurant. Check them out! read more

Our party of 6 had a reservation but they were unable to locate it so it took about 30min to get us situated and golfing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and will give it another shot maybe on a weekend. Thursday's they close at 11pm so it was a quick in and out vibe due to lost time checking in. Glad to see a fun, wholesome, adult themed mini golf in our area! It is very modern and unlike traditional mini golf where you have to keep track of everyone's points. Here there's tech confused at each station and a sensor in the mini golf ball. As soon as you place it on the floor, it knows what user the ball is registered to and keep track of the points . There are several tracks at this location - at least 4. What's unique about Puttshack is that it's more on the adult oriented side, with a bar and restaurant in the very center. You can grab a drink from the bar and take it along with you while you mini golf. They have little tables that you can set it down at while you golf. Had an informal party event here. This is the second location that I visited. The first being the location in Scottsdale, Arizona as soon as I heard this one was opening I was very excited. I needed some low-key wholesome fun together a group of friends that didn't involve heavy drinking or strenuous activity. This was the perfect spot. We came Saturday afternoon and we were worried about the wait time, but there was no wait! At first the customer service sucked. We had asked three employees by the entrance to help us join a party together so we can play in the same slot and we asked where the location we were assigned to go play was located and none wanted to help. It definitely felt like miniature golf of the future! There were several different options for the 9 hole courses. There were unique obstacles in the way, some gave extra points for trivia. It was a different scoring system than any other golf I ever experienced. It was nice being able to have real-time score updates and not needing to carry around a scorecard. Staff was very friendly and while there were a lot of people around, the games moved pretty quickly. My group and I were very focused on trying to make it up high on the daily leaderboard. The concept of this mini golf establishment is pretty cool, very interactive with trivia questions and other ways to make the game more enjoyable. Puttshack is the perfect addition to Dania Pointe. We had a Friday night reservation for 8pm dinner and then 9pm all you can putt. We were seated as soon as we checked in and the waitress showed up right away. After asking for a few minutes to look over the menu we ordered a mule and peach tea on peach tree. Both drinks arrived quickly and we made our decision on food. Unfortunately our waitress didn't come back for around 25 minutes. We tried waving her down several times but she was busy at a few larger tables. Finally we were able to place our order for Greek gyro sliders and Mediterranean lamb skewers. Thank god the food arrived pretty quick because we were rapidly approaching our tee time. Everything was really good. The peach drink was actually very delicious. It was sweet and refreshing. I would order it again. Both the skewers and gyros were very flavorful. Think elevated bar food. They are on the shareable menu so the portions weren't huge but perfect for a quick bite. We were about 10 minutes late to for golfing but it didn't really seem to matter. We found our starting course on our reservation and checked in at the kiosk for our balls and clubs. I really like that you don't have to go in order. We rarely had to wait for more than two people to finish a hole before we could play and managed to find several that were open and we walked right up to. The ball keeps track of everything including what holes you haven't completed so all you need to do is pay attention to the screens. We played all three courses. The amber one being the least busy and quickest for us to finish. The holes are close together so I can see it getting very crowded on the weekends. There were a lot of people there with us but we never felt rushed. I did have a few issues on the red (ruby?) course. They couldn't find our reservation even though we had just finished another course. There is a delay from finishing a course to your party showing up on the next one but we never showed up. They had to recreate our reservation. Also, my ball didn't register one complete hole and then wouldn't start my play at another hole. One downside is there isn't a button to push for assistance at the holes. You have to go to the kiosk and tell the employee the issue. This is the same place people are signing in to play so there was a line and we had to wait both times. Even though there were a few hiccups we had fun and would go back again. They have a separate party room so this would be a great place for a large groups too. read more

The Food: The food was exactly what you'd expect. Typical sports bar type of food. Good for a quick snack before the games. I got the quesadilla, bao buns, and loaded tater tots. During happy hour, each item was $6 which I think was a great deal. The service was great! The food did take a long time to arrive but Michelle (server) did let us know ahead of time their kitchen was backed up. She was attentive and kept me informed on the food. The Mini Golf: We played the 9 holes on the amber course. It was a lot of fun. Each hole is unique and very interactive. I think the tech they use is good, not faulty or glitchy. The only issues with this is when there are big parties ahead of you, you're just stuck waiting. Also, if there's parties behind you, they'll place their ball when you finish which doesn't allow you to see your score. Annoying but nothing they can really do about that. This place is mini golf on steroids! It's definitely not what you think of with traditional mini golf. The holes are super creative, and include moving parts and strategy. It's also super high-tech, with sensors and automatic scoring so you don't have to deal with carrying a paper around or doing math yourself. With loud music, lights, and drinks, it's definitely a fun party atmosphere! The food looks great as well; although we didn't have any this time, we definitely will on a future visit! I would say it's not overly expensive for the quality, fun, and uniqueness of the experience. I will say that we came on a Friday night and it was super crowded, which is to be expected. You don't have to do the holes in order and can skip around to ones with shorter lines, which is nice but also makes it a little chaotic. I'd probably prefer to come back on a weeknight. I've been to a different Puttshack location (out of state) and was so excited when I heard they opened one close to me because it is truly so fun and an affordable activity for friends and family. However, I was very saddened to see how different of an experience it was because of the huge amount of people. Granted, it was a Saturday night, so it was expected that crowds would be larger than usual. My disappointment comes from the lack of crowd controls, letting in groups of up to 12 to play at a time and allowing people to skip around holes so you're always waiting behind different people to play the next hole. It felt like too many people were being let in at once. I will say the food was very tasty and the service was great and quick. The environment is a bit noisy, so note that it's not the best for conversational dinners. Overall, I do love Puttshack and would return but likely on weekdays to ensure less crowds and a more positive experience. read more

We spoke with the host about playing since we weren't dining and were told to use the kiosk. After entering our info, we found out it only accepted card/tap and we had cash, so we were directed to the bar instead. From there, we were left waiting with no real guidance we were told someone named "Peter" would handle it, but no one explained who he was or where to find him. We ended up going back and forth for over 30 minutes trying to simply pay and get started, while the host stand (where there were multiple staff) was just laughing and on their phones instead of helping or stepping in to assist. What made it worse is the lack of communication and urgency from staff who were clearly aware we were waiting but didn't step in or coordinate at all. We were eventually forced to just use a card instead of cash to move things along, which defeated the whole point of the back-and-forth. For a place that markets itself as a smooth, fun experience, the service felt disorganized and poorly managed. Definitely not what you want on a special occasion like a birthday. read more

Drinks were good, and food was good. Only issues I saw was the food came out VERY late, as they lost tickets, may be because of their new system and new servers etc, but that wasn't great. Also, I would recommend they limit the amount of players per reservations or limit it by the hour to help the lines flow quicker between the putting greens. Had a birthday party for my 12 year old. Had ten kids and about seven adults there. The whole experience is a bit unorganized. The worst part is the kids had alot of leftover food- I had gotten the plus package ( pizza, chicken fingers, fruit, and tater tots) and they told me I could not take the leftover home. I paid for this food! So instead of just giving me a box to take home- they threw it all out. I spent enough money otherwise with adults getting drinks snd ordering their own food (because they don't allow the adults to eat from the kids food) that it makes absolutely no sense to throw away this food.
