The store was well organized with other patrons browsing the Pokémon offerings which were plentiful. Greeted by the sole employee, who directed me to the vintage sports card room. Instantly, I grabbed two packages of Fleer 90's baseball cards at only $2.00 each. Opened the packages in front of the employee in hopes of finding a valuable gem. Well, it was exciting and I found about four cards worth about a buck each. There were three wall displays of early 90's Matchbox diecast trucks complete sets for under $300.00 which brought back memories of my childhood. Not much other types of sports memorabilia such as jerseys, bats or helmets although an impressive inventory of cards.

I am not a traditional die cast collector and honestly I only even learned this car existed because…read moreYouTube randomly recommended a review, but the moment I saw this 1985 Lamborghini Countach in red it instantly took me back to the poster I had hanging in my bedroom as a kid and the feeling that it was the most magical car in the world, so when I discovered there was a highly detailed 1/12 scale version that I could actually afford I went on a serious hunt calling American companies, companies in France and Italy and even the manufacturer in Germany who explicitly told me they would no longer be producing the red version and that any site claiming a preorder was not being truthful, after that I turned to eBay where the only ones I could find were in Japan and with tariffs and shipping would have cost me close to $800 to get it to Los Angeles, I was super disappointed until I decided to call Awesome Diecast Models in Florida and they were absolutely incredible, not only did they actually have a brand new one in stock but it was $230 with just $18 shipping and they even took the time to confirm inventory for me before I placed the order, I checked out immediately and it arrived today in absolutely pristine condition with excellent double boxed packaging and high quality bubble wrap ensuring a flawless model, I honestly cannot thank you guys enough for bringing my childhood poster back to life as an adult and in an even more amazing form as a beautiful die cast model.

I was greeted quickly by one employee who walked away. However, another woman with short hair came up and asked if I had been in before. When I said I had not, she took me on a brief tour of the store, including pointing out the sake section and restroom. She even checked in with me when the original employee was struggling with a phone call and I was waiting to check out for some time. The store is laid out by yarn weight except for a separate baby yarn section. A lot of variety in all yarn weights and plenty of goodies to browse. Thankfully for my wallet I had to fit everything in a carry-on for the flight home so I just got yarn to start a quick project. However, I could see myself coming back next time I am in FL to browse (eh, buy) again!
