The lady then harassed the kids for their IDs because they didn't look old enough (they weren't obviously) they weren't pretending to be. When my friend explained the situation she wouldn't budge and refused the sale and she told her "we could've found you a cart". If that was the case we should have been made aware of policy before checking out and the situation could have been handled in a much more mature way. Would not recommend coming here!

They still bag your groceries and will take them to your car if you like. The employees are helpful - especially the front office staff. Their selections still offer many of the popular brands. Their meat dept is always helping us with special cuts. The store is always clean and displays seasonal goods as well. We also like the inside pharmacy and our Bank for easy access. One step at a time the chain is cutting back, hoping we won't notice it or will just accept the change. Selection and service has taken a backseat to profit. Items that the store once carried are gone. Do you remember when a shopping excursion at Brookshire's consisted of cruising the isles, placing items in your buggy, pushing it up to the cashier checkout only to have the cashier open the cart and pull the groceries out one at a time and ring them up? Then a bagger would bag your groceries, push them to you car and load them either in the trunk or cab, which ever you preferred. Wow, that was awesome. Those two services were really the only perks that made Brookshire's worth the stop. But those days are gone, this Grocery Store chain has taken away the best part of itself. Customer Service. Now you must unload your own groceries onto a conveyor belt, just like every other store. Often you have to bag your own groceries and end up pushing your own cart to your car and loading them up. Why not just stop at another grocery store on your way home, one that offers greater selection and Lower prices? Brookshire's has become no better than Walmart. Only Walmart has a greater selection. I remember when Brookshire's was an average grocery store with great customer service. Now they are an average grocery store with sub par service. This has happened across the chain, not just my local store. Sad to see such a decline in its customer service.

Hit me! 21+! I'd like to double down on this place. This is…read morea small liquor store on the side of the highway. It's not exactly the easiest to get to out here, but it did save some time. We came in here and grabbed some rum. They had free ice in the machine outside, which was an added bonus! Their wine selection seemed to be more of the cheaper stuff. Their liquor selection had all the regular favorites, with some weirder cheaper brands that I hadn't heard off. The beer selection did a good job of showcasing some DFW Metroplex beers, and even had some Austin breweries. There aren't many brewery options in Cumby, Tx, but this store sells plenty of beers from elsewhere. This liquor store seems to be a converted home along the highway. You can see how they just knocked the walls out to build out the liquor showroom retail floor. But the back rooms seem to be in use as storage and office space. The clerks were friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We grabbed some mixers and the free ice, and were on our way!

He willingly agreed to give me corporate telephone number or email address but said Jason is district or regional manager but he refused to give me Jason email address nor telephone number to reach Jason. He never offered to have Jason call me. He went to the back to get contact information for corporate and store email and left me standing at the front of the store at least 10 minutes and no update. I am very disappointed with my visit and Ashley behavior and unprofessional. I was so insulted, belittled and embarrassed. I did decline my purchase and ask the cashier to void my purchase. There's not really anything in Tyler, and we always have drive out a bit to find a liquor store. Let me just say, this place is the BEST I've visited out in East Texas so far! If it wasn't an hour away from home, though... argh! Not the point though... this place had everything we were looking for, even grabbed some Texas bottle holders, with some tasty spirits for a later session with friends. Also picked up a hat for my father in law, we EVERYONE in WA & TX knows as Papa. Loved the store, the staff was extremely friendly, loved the merch and inventory!! Thank you for a great experience!
