Hands down some of the best wings I have had!! The flavor was great! I had the honey hot. Cheese bread also had fantastic taste. The crust is good so if that's used for their pizza I would order it any day. All the servers and bartenders were super nice. The bartender has a lot of experience and knows what goes in every drink. The area it's self is pretty cool. They had live music from Texas country artists Schaefer Mueller and it was great! We came to town for the Christmas lights and will be back soon for the food! We walked in and we were promptly greeted and seated by a hostess. I missed most of this interaction as I was outside prepping our two oldest children (ages 3 & 4) for settling down inside. I'm sure it was friendly though because my husband was still chipper. After settling into our seats and receiving a high chair for our two year old, our waitress arrived. She was friendly and attentive. The service was great in my opinion. The receipt says our cashier was Brittany N. So that was possibly her name, I'm terrible at remembering names. Furthermore on service, our two year old spilt his drink and we asked for a towel and she was promptly cleaning the mess while still being friendly. As for the food, we were pleased! We ordered the fried pickles to start and they were thick cut and battered well. The kids loved them. My husband said the bleu cheese was good as well. We ordered an 8" pepperoni pizza and our 4 year old said it was the best pizza he ever had. We also ordered a supreme pizza and it was good as well. The crust wasn't greasy. It was soft and sturdy. The toppings were hefty and evenly distributed. We also ordered lemon pepper wings and garlic Parmesan wings (bone-in) and they were cooked very well. They fell off of the bone. I enjoyed the lemon pepper the best. We took the leftovers home and all left happy. It was a decent priced meal for a family of 5 and we felt comfortable and welcomed while we were there. read more

My wife and I visited on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy, but the service was quick and efficient. I had a thin crust meat lover's pizza and my wife had the manicotti. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The bar was well stocked and had a good beer selection. My only complaint (and this will sound crazy) was that there were too many toppings on my thin crust pizza. It tasted delicious, but the cheese and meat overwhelmed the thin crust (I told you it would sound crazy). My wife loved her manicotti. The food was good, the service was prompt and friendly, so we'll be back. I'll just try a different item from their extensive menu and I'm sure I'll be happy. read more

What a great new addition to the Mount Vernon square! Who doesn't love fresh homemade pizza?! They did an exceptional job with the interior design. Very rustic/industrial with a small bar in the back and patio coming soon! We came for dinner on Saturday night around 7:30 and were welcomed with live music at the front door and a short wait time. They serve wine and beer so it's not BYOB, but you CAN BYOL (liquor drink) in a cup. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and even took a minute to chat with us. The menu is extensive and mindblowingly affordable! Pizzas sm-lrg from $7 up to $17, pasta dishes starting at $5.99, calzones, sandwiches, salads, wings, there is something for everyone! The Steve-O's Supreme thin crust medium size was perfect to share between the 3 of us. My only comment was that the Italian salad dressing was more like a creamy ranch, which I would have preferred an olive oil based italian instead. When I first walked in, there was only one family seated and waiting on food. Yet there was about 3 tables that needed to be bussed with dirty dishes and flies swarming around the open food. There were employees on their phones when there was clearly work to be done. Once they cleared the tables, they went back to their phones and disregarded the floor that clearly needed to be swept. Our two pizzas ordered to-go took 30 minutes when they said it would take 15. Ordered 2 pizza's, Cheesy Bread and Fried Pickles. The pizza's were good. Crust was awesome The cheesy bread was great but the fried pickles were spicy. I have NEVER had spicy fried pickles anywhere I have had them. Also kind of grossed out when my Mom told me the girl in the back who was prepping pizza's, had long hair and wasn't wearing a hair net and she was prepping the dough and pressing the dough into the pans with bare hands? Both of the pizza's were supposed to have extra cheese and hardly had any on it. For the amount of time that My Mom waited on the order, when she got back to my house here in Mt Vernon, the Pizza's were not even hot. Talk about family run. This place was an enjoyable place for dinner for two folks from out of town. The staff was friendly and fun. The guys playing music weren't too loud but good and funny too. The pizza was tasty and the crust was nice and crispy. All toppings were fresh and plenty of them. The lasagna was also well made and good sized. My Fiancé and I have been here on numerous occasions while in Mt. Vernon for work. We have found this is pretty much the only place you can get a drink with your meal. The signature cocktails are very good, tap beers are cold and huge. We've had the pastas, the pizza, calzones, wings, and appetizers. The food was always really good. On the other side of things the service was not good. I can't tell if it's because they are understaffed or not. Each time we went there we either sat for 10 minutes waiting on menus or we waited on someone to take our drink order. Another time we asked for another round of drinks and the server said we close in 15 minutes. We asked if we had to leave and she said not this exact moment but soon. We went here for lunch for the first time. Atmosphere is pleasant, it is a pizzeria / bar. We ordered a LARGE calzone and 2 side salads. The salads were in a bowl approximately the size of an adult hand. Normal pizzeria fare. When the calzone arrived I said, "we ordered a large" and she said it was a large. I asked how small is the small? This large calzone was the size of a large burrito. So, we shared a small snack instead of lunch. In Any and every pizzeria the size of a large calzone is the size of a medium to large pizza dough folded over.
