Courtney works hard for you. With no taxi service available ( like literally not a single way to get to the airport without walking) in Amarillo Texas and she made the drive feel like limo service. This is, hands down, the best car service in the Amarillo area!!! The woman who owns this company and is extremely nice and welcoming to all. The car is very clean and is well taken care of. There are also a wide selection of free snacks and drinks offered to you when you ride. To be honest, I can't say enough good things about Q&D Driver. I encourage everyone to use this car service. read more

History

Established in 2014.

After driving a taxi and being shown several devious ways to cheat customers, I grew fed up with the cost, smells, and filth of the average cab here in Amarillo. In June of 2014, I decided to give my customers the many things that I was asked about while driving a taxi--newer cars, eliminate odors, non-smoking cars, working heat and air conditioning, doors that don't get stuck, etc. I added to that 40 years experience in offering great customer service and old fashioned hospitality, mixed with some friendliness and honesty and you have a Q and D Driver. Quality and Dependability meet with the best of transportation and the kindness of polite drivers. That is why we say "Enjoy the Ride!".

I am a local girl, raised in Canyon and a very proud, strong and determined Texan. I did not like the status quo of taxi services here and had a good friend who believed in me, so we bought a car, kept it clean, served snacks, slashed prices, and we had a beginning of a new way to do transportation. I think of it as a local, low-tech Uber, and I got here first! Very simply, it is important to me to do things well and to keep an honest reputation for good service. As my company has grown, I have stuck to doing things to the best of ability and expect this of all the other drivers as well. Anyone can drive you around in a dirty car and be rude. We want you to find us to be the something special that will merit your business time and again. I'm bringing back the kindness, simplicity, and generosity of my home 50 years ago. And if you like me, you would have really enjoyed my Mama.

They carried shirts, shot glasses, post cards, photos, and many other souvenirs all themed with the Cadillac Ranch. They even carried cans of spray paint to use at the Ranch. The woman at the register was very friendly and welcoming surrounded by plexiglass. She told me and the other guests if we liked their page on Facebook they would give us a free sticker! Of course I got my sticker! Next time I visit the Cadillac Ranch I'll be stopping here to pick up some souvenirs.
