It's a great new place in the area near Whole Foods, near where Five Guys is. The guys who own this place are wonderful and take care of their customers. One of them came to our table and explained the whole menu to us in great detail. We came during the soft opening before they were fully open, so not everything on the menu was available yet. I had "Lamb The Q", which was good. The fries and the dips were good. The lamb though was very tough and lacked flavor. I would come here again, but probably order something different. read more

I am giving it a one star because we dined in and the place was very dirty. I did not feel comfortable and it was a disaster. I gut my food 55 minutes later and it was nasty. I found a dead fly in my food and after that I was done. Their were even fly's fling around the resturant. I did not eat my food and they said I still have to pay after what I experienced. The food here is delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered carryout as it is Ramadan, and all the tables inside are reserved. We were quoted 25 minutes, and our food was ready as promised. Service was friendly and quick. We ordered: 1. Falafel wrap - this was delicious, and our LO enjoyed it. The falafel was flavorful, and the additional ingredients in the wrap made it excellent. (5/5 ) 2. Chicken kebab platter - this came with hummus, garlic sauce, rice, pita, and a small salad. All the ingredients were seasoned and fresh. Super tasty chicken that was preapred well. Although the indoor seating is limited (walking in there were several tables needing cleaning after parties left a huge mess), the small staff were all very kind & seated us as soon as they could. Having consumed food twice from Q Barbe Q, I can confidently report that unless you want to have GI issues, and be up until 1:30 am suffering from said stomach pains, dine somewhere else. How I want to love Q Barbe Q! I loooooove Mediterranean/Lebanese food. Give me shawarma, fattoush, hummus, and garlic sauce allll day. And, having previously worked in an area with a high concentration of Arab Americans, I have had THE BEST of their cuisine! So, I was disappointed when I tried Q Barbe Q for the second time, placing an order to go in person, and I felt weird/awkward/unwanted while there. It took 4 tries for them to understand replacing the side (fries) with a side of fattoush instead. The food? Chicken was decently seasoned, slightly dry. Fattoush was not a fattoush - the lemon, sumac, and other key ingredients were missing. I tried to eat it with the garlic sauce. Hummus was ok - nothing of note. Still haven't found a solid option for this type of cuisine in the area. :( read more

Wow is this place a hidden gem for Mason. It's tucked inside a strip mall that appears run down but don't let that deter you. You can park anywhere and walk straight in (no steps/handicap friendly). There's plenty of seating and the inside is clean. What impressed me the most: The food. It's phenomenal. I got the Friday special and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality , the generous portion, fair price, and authentic taste. The service was good. You can tell it's family owned and operated. It's an order at the counter, the girl working didn't hurry you, and patiently answered questions. The restaurant is very clean. I was well pleased with this choice. My falafel sandwich was flavorful and the falafel was tasty. The lentil soup was pretty decent. The pricing is very low, I had plenty of food for $11. It is tucked away in a plaza, so at first glance you may miss it. However, inside the space is very clean and there are plenty of tables available for seating. Ordering was quick and easy, as you walk up to the counter and choose what you like from the menu that is present there. The menu itself is pretty extensive for a small, family-run business (and everything looks amazing), so my friends and I had to spend some time looking through everything before we decided what we wanted. We ended up going for their wraps. I specifically ordered the chicken wrap and it was SO good. I really enjoyed the generous amount of hummus that had been added in as well. It was pretty plain and defeated the middle east cuisine for me given I've had mediterranean cuisine before around West Chester. If you're an Indian, you might want to reconsider. We have done take out many times. Always very good. The Kebobs are great. I always get the lamb kebobs. Comes with fried and humus and maybe some tomato salad, but I can't remember so not sure about that last one. Never ate in but the place looks clean. The employees are friendly. You won't get a lot of chitchat but this is not that kind of place. One of my favorite casual spots in Cincinnati. Not the most vibrant or fancy atmosphere, but a really great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. I really recommend the Q items on the menu. I got the chickenQ. The meat comes wrapped in a very tasty Zaatar bread. The hummus, garlic, and vegetables that come with it complement it very well. Appetizers are also very delicious. I love Mediterranean food, okay; I love food. I have eaten at many different places in the West Chester area that serve similar food, but I will have to say this was some of the best. The Turkish coffee could have been a wee stronger, but hey I am sure if it was others would complain it was too strong. I ordered the Chicken Kebab Wrap and some stuffed grape leaves. All I can say is wow! I have never had the grape leaves warm before and this was perfect. The wrap was perfectly done and very tasty, I would love to have this more often and may just have to stop in just to grab one (call ahead). I loved the fact that they make everything fresh, it may take a wee bit longer for your food to come up but well worth the wait. If you come here don't plan on McDonald's speed, plan on Mediterranean speed. If you have never been to Europe, then plan on 30 minutes or so for the main to show up. So if you want speed, White Castle is down the street, if you want amazingly good food, then stop here and enjoy. Let's start with the food... fresh, hot and tasty. My chicken kabob and my wife's mixed kabob (chicken, lamb and beef) were beautifully presented on a bed of yellow rice with a side of hummus, a mayonnaisey garlic sauce and pickle, tomato and onion. The meats had a very nice char (cooked over charcoal, we were told) and a nice lemony marinade. It was delish. The restaurant is unassuming and didn't appear to be extremely busy but we saw a steady stream of pickup orders. Our wait was much longer than it should have been and our server never visited while we waited. It was nice that the owner stopped by to check on us. He apologized for our wait and was very cordial. As we finished, he brought over some warmed baklava. The pistachio was fantastic. Would have given 4 stars but the owner visit made up the difference. We'll definitely find our way back. read more
