    Beef, bland lamb

I was really disappointed. The humus tastes like Kroger's. The meat was tough and bad flavor. The pita bread was even hard. There was so much rice on my plate, it was like paying $16.00 for a plate of rice and hard bland beef. The lamb literally tasted like hamburger meat. The appetizer a meat and pie was hard and had plain hamburger meat inside. In addition to the fruit flys, the waiter never asked how the food was. I understand why. I don't like to leave negative reviews but this was disappointing.

Awesome food. I love the Greek salad with chicken. Great flavor and tons of tomatoes, cucumbers and onions, just the way I like it!

Our food and service was great! There was really loud dance music that started and we couldn't hear each other talk.

My wife ordered falafel plate with Russian potatoes (roasted with garlic and dill) and a chopped salad of cucumber, tomato and onion.

Everything here was really good. The plov had so much flavor I almost ate the whole thing (it's a big portion). The service and ambiance was great as well. They are very attentive.

I bet you didn't know that. Anyway, hidden behind a drab exterior is a beautiful restaurant with soothing decor and very comfortable seating. The booths are hung with rich curtains (tied back) and the atmosphere is so enchanting. Very much an exotic foreign feel. We tried numerous dishes: Manti were hearty dumplings which we very much enjoyed. The borscht soup was tangy and refreshing and just what I anticipated taste-wise though I never had borscht with meat before. Plov was really delectable, tender shredded meat over comforting, delicately seasoned rice. I loved the little hard boiled egg. For me the highlight was Kavuna Lagman. I'm a noodle person and this dish checked all the boxes, plus topped with thin strips of fried egg! Of everything we tried the only miss was the Shurpa soup, which contained huge chunks of pot roast style meat that was tough and chewy although the broth was delicious. We were the only non-Uzbek people in the restaurant (which started to get pretty busy on this early Sunday afternoon) other than one girl who came to pick up a takeaway order. But we felt so welcomed. The waiters were very kind and attentive. One of them was lacking in the English department but the other stepped in to help us with questions. We really enjoyed this dining experience and looking forward to more.

Very similar to Dahl, just a thinner consistency. Felt just like home haha. Wasn't the biggest fan of the Kuzacha Shurpa. I know for next time, it was just very subtly seasoned. I'm sure that's how the dish is supposed to be, just not my style. The only thing that upset me is they had a lot of stuff on the menu, that they didn't have. Such as some of the salads. They had a big selection of everything though. The service was great. It was slow when we went in, but it was around 3-4pm on a Saturday. We were served and seated very quickly. Definitely will be revisiting- and I'm curious , is it really open 24/7 haha.
