What a disappointment... until it wasn't. That's exactly what I thought walking into EurAsia--a place boldly named Kebabs and Gyros... with zero gyros on the menu. Not one. Nada. Zilch. The online menu A total catfish not the same lol. Tom and I are adventurous eaters, but this was a culinary blind date with no translator. I came in craving a gyro. I left in a committed relationship with something I still can't pronounce. Shoutout to our server an absolute gem who patiently walked us through the mystery menu like a seasoned tour guide. We ordered two appetizers and three kebabs, and while I can't name a single dish, I can describe them like a Food Network finalist Dish #1: Choke Hold #1 Imagine if a cabbage roll and pho had a love child. That's this dish. Tender cabbage wrapped around a savory filling (no rice--bless), floating in a light, flavorful broth with a potato, carrot, two meatballs, and two stuffed peppers. I would fight someone for this again and if you know me you know I can't fight lol but I would try lol Dish #2: Choke Hold #2 The server said, "It's like lasagna." I said, "Tom, those are dumplings in yogurt sauce." Then I took a bite. He was right. Somehow, it was lasagna--without the tomato sauce, but with all the cozy, meaty, veggie goodness. Went in and got some chicken kabobs with grilled onions for a quick lunch. The meat was really good, but it wasn't quite as quick as I expected. Took 20 minutes just to send out a thing of chicken kabobs, and when it came out it had a sauce that I would describe as bad salsa more than I would think of it as anything Eurasian. Definitely an odd vibe inside, but I wasn't put out in any way shape or form even if I was not the typical clientele. read more

The atmosphere was comforting. I ordered the Chebruek, a beer Samsa beef and lamb, and a Vireska kebab. Everything was so savory and delicious. The meat for the Vireska was so tendor the Samsa beef and lambs were incredible. The breading to meat ratio was perfect. As for the Chebruek i lover the crispiness of the breading and the flavor of the meat wjth the sauce incredible. Im new to Ohio and wanted to try what its has to offer and I would highly recommend! Food was delicious - we ordered the stuffed cabbage, chicken kabob, and some stuffed bread filled with either meat or cheese. All the food I would order again (and stop by for if we were in the area). The berry juice they make there is outstanding. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was service. Our server barely spoke to us and it was almost like an inconvenience to him that we wanted to eat there for lunch. Warning: Rating applicable in Covid times. If you are looking for quality food, this place is really good. I ordered a platter (they were accommodating of my half Chicken, half vegetarian request) and my friend got the chicken shawarma. The guy said that it'd be a 20 minute wait for the food to be ready. It took 40 mins. If you are particular about that, please arrive sooner. The platter was more than generous (easily shareable between two people). It had a lot of things like salad, pickled veggies, rice, pita, hummus, garlic sauce and meat (mix of chicken and falafel in my case). Everything tasted really good. The salad and veggies were fresh and I liked everything. My friend approved of his chicken shawarma as well. If you try this place, you have to get the Honey cake. It's insanely good. The layers are perfect. However, the thing that pricked me is that they didn't make it a mandate to follow covid guidelines. People could come in without a mask, walk around without one, and the staff didn't say anything. I am not sure if they knew these mandates. read more

SCAM ALERT!!! While the food is very good, I noticed a charge on the check called CUSTOM (for $2.00). When checking what that was for, they advised that is because we ate in the restaurant instead of take out. My buddy and I got separate checks and both of us got charged the $2.00. I'm not sure if this charge is done to non-Americans or if they just tack it onto us stupid Americans that don't pay attention. They make you go to the register to get the check and I feel they may do this so you have less time to review the charges. It is really too bad since the food and service were good. I walked out. Their food is good here. Very good. I was craving their Gyro and went today. Nobody that's walking in or waiting in line is wearing masks. The guy taking orders is NOT wearing a mask and the guy in the open kitchen is also not wearing a mask. They have a shield between the register and the restaurant - but that's not where the order taker takes your order. I watched the order taker dish out and serve dessert without a mask. That was it. This place has these little pastry things and and inside are lamb and cooked onions and other things and spices and is served with what tastes like a watered down cold marinara sauce and what I'm getting at is they are so freaking amazing and one only costs $2.50 and totally worth it. First and last time patronizing this restaurant, I would say that it is clean and staff was friendly. However, the prices and the portions aren't matching, I ordered the Aso plate that came with rice, carrots, chickpeas, raisins, yellow peppers, and two very small pieces of beef one lean piece and the other was pure fat with an extra piece of fat on the side. The chicken kabob pieces was the size you would give to a toddler (bite sized to be exact). I was very disappointed, and will not be returning. Wasted money!!! read more

These guys are clueless every time I call. First time ordering it took 15 minutes to confirm i wanted a falafel sandwich. Fantastic, fresh and delicious. I'm so glad this place opened up close by. But as other Yelpers have said...you gotta look for it or you may miss it. The decor is simple but has such vibrant colors, it's really a cute space. We shared a gyro platter which came with a very generous portion of gyro meat, rice, hummus, pita and a salad. The salad was amazing - full of crisp lettuce, cabbage and carrots with a light dressing. The hummus was some of the best I've had and the gyro meat was perfectly seasoned and crisp on the edges. We are visiting Cincinnati from Detroit. We decided to eat here because I am a vegetarian and my husband and three kids are not. I wanted something vegetarian (other than a generic chef salad) and they prefer meatier meals. Eurasia had something for everyone in my family. The children had steak kabobs and couldn't get enough! They were begging to "come back tomorrow" while we were still eating lunch! I had the vegetarian platter and it was very good. I would have liked to have a larger portion of hummus on the platter, but that was my only complaint. Everything on the platter was delicious! My husband had a chicken kabob and he ate every bite and says it was very good chicken. We followed up with some baklava and it was some of the best I've ever had. So dense and sweet and amazing. I wish I had gotten some coffee to go with it. That would have been perfect. The restaurant itself is smaller in size, but it is nice and open. The area was clean and smelled like good food. After we placed our order, we could hear and see and smell our lunch...you could tell it was freshly prepared and cooked to order. read more

Only bad thing about moving out of West Chester was moving away from Tikka Grill on Cincinnati Dayton. Good news. Durum Grill's gyro might actually be better. Flavorful thin slices of lamb, delicious tzaziki sauce. The location is out of the way and the business currently has temporary signage out front. Took some time to make but we clearly very fresh. I've been looking for a new Greek restaurant that serves Gyros as good as the ones I grew up eating at a restaurant now closed :(. Well I think this is the closest I've found! They shave your meat off of a spit just like they are supposed to (not meat from a package put in the microwave). They give you TONS of meat lettuce, tomatoes and onions with a delicious taziki sauce! The prices are not bad at all either! I got a gyro with gyro meat (there are other options), a size of taziki sauce, a soda and a slice of baklava (which was wonderful as well) for 12.00! No servers so no tips which is nice :). Loved this place. The lamb kebabs were seasoned and cooked perfectly and everything had the delicious smoke of the charcoal.

Very disappointing experience at Eurasia today. My daughter and I visited for carry out, but were directed to a very limited carry out menu, so we took a table to eat in. Only two tables were occupied and two servers were assisting those tables regularly and cleaning other tables. However, no servers approached our table or even acknowledged our presence in the 15 minutes that we sat in the small and open dining room. Eventually we left without eating. read more

If you have not been here you are missing out. Their food is great, their staff is really nice and friendly. The only downside is that it takes awhile for the food to get cooked. I met a friend for dinner here tonight. We had previously eaten at it when it was Durum Grill and it was absolutely fabulous. Now the name has changed and the decor is a nicer, but the menu seems to be the same. We both ordered gyros (hers without tomatoes and onions) and mine with everything. We ordered baba ghanoush and fries. The baba came in a container by itself with nothing to dip it with. When I asked about pita to eat with it, I was told that it didn't come with it. Huh? How was I supposed to eat it - with a spoon by itself? The gyros were good. Although the menu said they were supposed to have feta cheese on them, they didn't. Neither one of us had tomatoes or onions on our gyros. Since only my friend had requested hers that way, mine was wrong. I ate it anyway. After the baba issue, I was just done. The employees were not friendly or apologetic in any way for the mistakes. I will think twice before I go back - if I do, it will be just for gyro to take out.
