While I cannot comment on every item they serve (I only order a couple favourites from the menu) they have a wide variety of choices that are sure to make your mouth water! You receive enormous portions for a reasonable price. For example, my favourite is the chicken finger meal, which is $10, a wonderful price considering the Lazy Scholar's finger meal is about $13-15 for half the portion of Tall Fry's. Not only is the food good, but the customer service is as well! Everyone who I've seen working for Tall Fry is polite! They also are quite efficient, the longest I've ever had to wait is about 15 minutes during a busy day, but on average the time between ordering and the food being ready is pretty quick! Overall, Tall Fry is the best place for a bite to eat on Queen's Campus, and I highly recommended it to anyone in the Kingston area!

I stumbled upon Farm Girl's account, and was happy to see Kingston had a food truck. Down here in NOLA, along with most of the US, it's kind of a thing. Of course, I grew up in Kingston, so I know they don't usually like to follow trends. On the other hand, we always had "chip trucks," so maybe Kingston actually started the food truck trend. Oh, I'm so confused now.... so back to Farm Girl. I had an upcoming trip to Kingston to visit family, so I made sure to track down Farm Girl during the visit. My brother, his girlfriend, my daughter and myself all came by on a weekday around noon. There was a line, but not a huge wait. They are very efficient. I had the BBQ chicken tacos along with pasta salad. So good! Really, I could just live off of the pasta salad. It was awesome. I'm not entirely sure what the other adults had, but it all looked delicious. My little one enjoyed the fries, too! Friendly staff, the truck is easy to find, and (best of all) delicious, local, homemade food. Two thumbs up! Be sure to track down Farm Girl via Facebook or Twitter if you happen to be in/around Kingston. You won't regret it.

My sister and I had their daily special which was a roast beef sandwich with an au jus dip as well as a red quinoa salad. The sandwich and au jus were both quite good. Close to excellent! The quinoa salad was good also though the dressing was not quite as tasty as I had hoped.....but I am quite picky when paying $16 for a food truck lunch. Overall, worth the price because you could easily share this meal between 2 people. I also felt the food was truly fresh and tasty. The service added to the experience as the staff were friendly and efficient. The meal was ready in under 10 minutes and I was greeted when I walked up by the owner and a staff member. After many food truck experiences, including a couple of U.S. award winners, I would say this truck makes it into the top 3 I have tried. Congratulations to the owners who seem to have good vision and a desire to over achieve in their industry.

They have lots of condiments on a counter in front of the truck. We would have ordered fries but were still full from a late lunch. Plenty of picnic tables are set up beside the food truck. If you're lucky you can watch the trains passing by near the property as you order or enjoy your food on site. There's also plenty of parking. The people parked next to us were from Pennsylvania. Word travels far!

Wow very fresh, full of flavor and very juicy as a burger should be. I watched them cut and cooked hand cut fries it don't get any better than that. Nothing is pre-cooked it is all cook to order and is very fresh. Service was great and the price are decent for the quality and quantity of food that you get an excellent value. We hired Western Cut BBQ to cater our wedding. In terms of service and communication they were lacking. The upfront service we received from Karen when we initially contacted the team was excellent. She was very helpful and accommodating. Where there were service related challenges: we were told that Western Cut staff would clear plates; however, this did not happen to our satisfaction - family members had to help with this. Western Cut was packing up and leaving before all guests were served. Seconds were not an option. We had several guests tell us that the buffet was being cleared away before they had been fully served. Communication with Karen was professional and polite. Communication with Bill was less than desirable, he used profanity in emails and was incredibly unprofessional in his responses. We paid for 120 guests and only had 105 guests at the wedding- We understood this as that is the minimum and was stated in the contract. However, we expected quality service and well cooked food which unfortunately was not delivered. We do want to note the bbq meat was excellent - it was the side dishes that were lacking. Would I hire them again for my wedding? No. Would I consider hiring them for an event that had less high stakes - such as a casual golf tournament, yes.

We had an event with 250+ people and provided enough food for half and most of that food (the chicken) was under cooked sending a number of our members to hotels for the night because they were sick. If you are going to provide a service honor it, otherwise give it a rest. Stay away from these people.

I stumbled upon this place on a walk downtown and HAD to give it a try because of their eccentric name and cool logo. I tried their Art of Almost sandwich which is avocado and brie with a sweet spicy mustard -- you can choose 3 extra toppings as well. It was absolutely divine! This was a signature sandwich, so it came to $12 but you can get the half sandwich for $6.50. Their non-signature sandwiches are $10.50 for a full one and $5.75 for a half one. They also make their bread in-house which I thought was pretty fantastic. I'll be back for sure to buy their bread!
