I payed for a oil change and tire rotation. I used a Groupon coupon. They didn't not do the tire rotation. The tires are in the same place as I took it in. Then I feel I was price gouged $15.00 each for 2 quarters of oil. They didn't top off the guild levels, like washer fuilds. read more

The mechanics at this location are old, tired, grizzly cats who need to retire. They have preconceived notions about certain vehicles that appear for service whilst service manuals and procedures be damned. Ryan, the "service advisor" is a lying, misguided front desk prop, well trained in the art of generating auto repair revenue. Back in 2020, my vehicle left the shop following $3,800 in "repairs." By the time I got back to Galesburg my car was leaking oil from untighted pan bolts; 3 months later the starter they put in went bad. Gasket seals, forget about it. I can go on and on. Yes, I have the paperwork from 2020 and I have subsequent paperwork showing follow-up repairs and/or replacement for their shoddy, tired workmanship over the last 3 years. Available on request. I brought my 2010 Nissan Versa to the Davenport location. The back hatch absolutely wouldn't open. They had me bring my car back about 2 or 3 times, but they got it repaired. (The dealer did not have an electrician on Saturdays, the only day I could be there. Dealer was in Galesburg.) Turns out it was a very different problem and a car electrician needed to repair it. They told me ahead of time that they'd have to cut through the inside hatch panel, which was very disappointing but at least I got the problem solved. On one of the visits they didn't charge me because they didn't do anything but look at it. If it were me, yes, I would recommend them again...but I can only speak about the Davenport location. read more

Amazing staff & service. Friendly, courteous, up front, honest. I had unexpected vehicle trouble & brought it in & the gentleman at the counter said that he couldn't be certain as he hadn't looked at the car, but he had a guess as to the problem. And that was, indeed, the problem. They tell you how much is going to cost before they do the work. They write up work that needs to be done in the near future. If you have money to waste throwing random parts on your vehicle. Or simply don't mind having your vehicle for a few days this is the place for you. Took my vehicle in got a diagnosis from them and didn't fix the problem charged me for it and told me I would replace them "eventually". Told me they fixed my vehicle to pick it up after paying for stuff I didn't need. My vehicle was making the same noise. Was told I was getting some money back for the inconvenience of paying for stuff I didn't need and I still haven't received it. Less than 2 weeks later I find myself at a certified dealership and I'm replacing stuff QC Auto put on!!! Anyone can throw random parts on vehicles and not fix a problem. These people will do work and once they are out of pocket it comes out of your for their mistakes. The manager complained he would loose his job if he didn't charge me and that he was already loosing some of his bonus. It becomes the customer's problem when they can't fix your vehicle and throw random parts that you don't need on. If you have money to waste this is the place but I suggest just flushing it down the toilet before giving it to these people!! read more

The worst bunch of misleading alleged auto service experts I have ever come across. Way too expensive, big lines of bull**** about what is needed, diagnosis in minutes and high estimates without even really looking at the car. The old guy John, who looks like Guido or Carmine from the Godfather, trolls around in a very intimidating way. The service writer Dave gets in your face when you tell him "no". STAY AWAY. read more

I recently purchased a different car (used) and it is in need of work. I took my previous car here and always received friendly service and they worked with me on pricing. This time, after I "scheduled" some routine work, at a competitive price, I asked if they could add on a basic task that is not that difficult since they would have the car in a condition where the add on would be logical (task was related). They were not at all friendly and helpful and actually quoted a price that was ridiculous. I guess now that they appear to by busier they can pick and choose what service work to take on by over pricing the service. My advice, take your car somewhere else. read more

Be prepared to spend a small fortune. Went there due to lowest quote (close but still lowest) on front shocks, rear suspension, and 4 new tires. I was told they would have my car 1 day. Come to find out they "forgot" to quote a part that is part of every front suspension replacement (extra $400). So now they weren't even close to other estimates and I'm already in for the inspection cost just for looking at the vehicle. Chose not to have the rear suspension done in order to keep the cost down so now I'm still $200 over estimate and not getting the rear shocks. 3 days later and $200 over estimate and still no rear shocks, i finally got my car back. Only reason I'm writing this review is because not a full month later l have a tire blowout. I expected a free tire (under warranty) and having to purchase a new warranty for the tire. Nope. Now I'm paying for the install of a new tire. What good is roadside coverage if you still have to pay for the installation? Every time I get a call from these guys I know I might as well just open my wallet. read more
