A Convenient and Enjoyable Stop for a Good Meal While Traveling While traveling through Bowling Green, Kentucky, we decided to stop at the Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurant for a meal. This particular one was located on the southwest corner of Cave Mill Road and Scottsville Road. It was very convenient and only a short distance from the main roads through the area, making it an easy place to reach whether you are staying in Bowling Green or simply passing through on a road trip. There is ample parking in front of the restaurant, and getting in and out of the shopping center was pretty easy. I have visited many Qdoba locations in several different states over the years, and this one compares well with the others. One of the first things I noticed was that the restaurant seemed larger than many of the other Qdoba locations I have visited. The seating area seemed more open and spacious. The restaurant area, both inside and out, was clean . Ordering follows the standard Qdoba process. You begin at one end of the serving line, choose whether you want a burrito, bowl, tacos, or another entrée, and then customize it with your choice of rice, beans, meats, vegetables, sauces, and toppings as you move down the counter. At the end of the line you pay for your order. The drink station is a self-service setup located along the wall, making it easy to refill your beverage during your meal. The staff members were pleasant and prepared our food quickly and efficiently. Overall, this was a very good stop during our travels. Between the convenient location, friendly staff, good food, it was exactly what we were looking for. If you are traveling through the Bowling Green area and want a quick, fresh, and satisfying meal, I would certainly recommend this Qdoba to my fellow travelers. read more

Everything is always nice and clean, and the food is excellent. I recently went to the Chipotle on Scottsville road right when they opened at 10:45, and they opened the restaurant with dirty tables from the day before. You never have to worry about that here. read more

Long lines move fast because the serving line staff enjoys exceptionally efficient kitchen support. It's always fresh. Whatever I order, street tacos, bowls, etc...the food is always fresh. Kudos to an often neglected area, the soft drink station. They keep the area supremely clean and the multiple selections have never had a glitch for me. It's Kentucky and that means sweet and unsweetened tea are always available and always good. Here again, the tea containers are tended even more so during higher traffic periods. I'm confident I could order online but I like knowing I'll breeze through the serving line and get to pick what I want. I'm not ready to make a decision until I hit the counter. read more

Qdoba is one of my regular haunts and for good reason. The restaurant is always clean and well kept. The staff are always inviting, greeting you warmly and with a desire to make ordering pleasant and simple. The food selection is great with several delicious proteins to choose from. I find myself generally gravitating towards a bowl with white rice, black beans, and Cholula chicken. While these ingredients make the foundation of delicious it is the corn and fresh pickled jalapeños, along with other topping, that just make this dish a repeat performer for me. We needed a place to meet my sister at between Nashville and Hartford, Bowling Green is where we decided to meet. We picked this place for dinner. I've had Qdoba a handful of times. I'm usually more a fan of Blue Coast or Moe's, but I digress. It was a Sunday night, around 6:30pm. They weren't every busy. The food was okay, I think they could stand to have a couple more options for the toppings for burritos or bowls. I like that they've got a Freestyle machine (I love the sprite raspberry). What made me not want to come back to this location was the staff. Two of the three people that I interacted with weren't friendly at all. They seemed off-put that they had to answer any questions about the menu items. One of them asked what I wanted and rushed me through all the questions she asked, then had to ask again what kind of chicken because she was going so fast. The food is always incredible and fresh! They seem to have way more options, as far as variety of ingredients and toppings, compared to Chipotle. The only reason I leave a 3 star rating is because of the dullness of the employees. I know customers can be a handful at times and when you're ready to go home, it's difficult to show a whole lot of energy. My husband and I grab lunch here about every other month, and honestly we should frequent more. This Qdoba has many pros in my opinion. - Food is always hot and fresh. When we came in earlier in the week, the fajita peppers were almost out when I asked for them, so the employee got a new container of them to put in my bowl instead of using the bottom of the barrel. It was very much appreciated! - The restaurant is incredibly clean. Tables are always wiped down and you can tell the kitchen area looks well kept as well. - Employees are friendly! The manager or owner (not sure - the middle aged fellow that usually rings us up) is very nice, and always thanks us for coming in. It seems like he communicates with his staff well, and they all seem to be in harmony with each other. Parking can get crazy at lunchtime, so come early. Make this Qdoba your go-to for a quick casual lunch, I don't think you will regret it! read more

I had a fantastic experience thanks to Natalie. I had been traveling all day with my family and arrived a few minutes before closing after getting everybody settled into the hotel. I was expecting to get an attitude for being there three minutes before closing but Natalie was great about it. She even personally fried more fajitas. I told her I found just finish the few she had since it was closing time but she insisted on frying more and then served them fresh out of the pan. This place is like a Chipotle, but a couple of notches below in terms of the quality of the food. Same assembly line concept on the whole. The place is clean and staff is friendly. But they have clearly been instructed to charge anything and everything as extra (yes it is all displayed on the menu board right above, so no surprises there). I got a vegetarian burrito with the queso sauce and the salsa roja and fajita vegetables. I got charged $1 extra each for the queso, salsa roja and fajita. My burrito cost $9.50 before taxes and over $10 after taxes. I mean if they are going to nickel and dime me like this for everything, then perhaps this place should have also credited me some money back for not taking the included items like the roasted veggies, guacamole, the cheese and the sour cream. If they won't credit me for not taking those 4 items but they will charge me for the 3 items I did take? I felt ripped off. So if you want a burrito with what they want to put in it it is OK, but if you want a burrito your way, they stick you up like a bandit. Chipotle never treated me this way. My veggie burrito costs exactly the same no matter what I put in it. Except for the guac, Chipotle never nickels and dimes you once you pick your burrito. I mean over $10 for a veggie burrito? While steak and chicken burritos are listed for less? What a rip off. Won't go there again. Hope they open a Chipotle in this town soon. read more

Tried for the first time today, and it was very good! It is allot like Chipotle's (assembly line style) with many more options. I thought it was better. More flavorful. I had the chicken burrito on a wheat tortilla with Mexican rice, pinto beans, cheese, sour cream, and a super tasty salsa roja! The salsa roja was awesome!!! My first time eating here was awesome! I was greeted and informed about a survey for free chips and salsa! Then I went a 2nd and 3rd time and it was terrible! There was one girl working on the line and she had an attitude the whole time while making my bowl, I told her I wanted ground beef but she thought I said veggies and put them on there I asked her nicely if she put ground beef in there? And she gave me a death stare and said NO DIDN'T YOU ASK FOR A VEGGIE I told her no I wanted ground beef so she took the veggies off put ground beef, I continued to order and told her I wanted the spicy queso and she ended up putting the regular queso on there which wasn't a big deal but she never offered to remake my bowl after messing it up twice, My 3rd and LAST TIME there I was served by an employee name Emily who was eating she got up to make my bowls and she was still chewing her food! I purchased a cup for a drink (While fixing my drink she went back to eating) and the soda syrup was very so I told Emily about it and she said "It's not low I just changed it" I said well it's nasty and asked her for a refund she came back to give me a refund with her mouth full of food which was so disgusting! Its OK for fast food. I have to admit that I prefer Que Buenos, though, as far as burrito preferences go. Don't get me wrong, Q Doba is good, its just not the best. My reasons for saying so are 1. They don't mix the ingredients in the burrito so you may have a bite of just sour cream or just cheese. This is a burrito fail. 2. They don't have refried beans. 3. They only have 2 edible meat options, pork and ground beef, both can be overly greasy. Their other meats are dessicated, though, so I opt for greasy. 4. Expensive. Lunch here was $28, where at Que Buenos its $23 for same basic. On the positive side, Q Doba has a Coke Freestyle machine, so my husband can get orange coke. This, he says, is worth whatever else might be wrong. Service is fast and friendly. Its clean, too. Clean is apparently difficult in the fast food world, so I appreciate it when I find it. So you can generally expect a decent lunch here and still be on time for work. read more
