However the sniper was the Boca burrito . For the price I would have paid more . Don't let the pineapple throw you off , it paired perfect with burritos . Service was good everyone was polite. Fast friendly service at this counter service restaurant. Just order, take your table number and they'll bring your food. The vette city burrito was really great. It said there were fries in it but I didn't notice them being there though it was still an excellent burrito. I asked for a side of their house hot sauce and it had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. read more

Happen to pass this place on the way to our destination and looked it up and had great reviews so figured to try it out on the way back home. The best decision! Good location, ample parking and surprisingly spacious dining room with plenty of tables. I'm surprised this place wasn't busier. I ordered the taco trio and chose the Baja taco with dealers choice on fish or shrimp, Al pastor taco and the carne asada taco with a cucumber lemonade to drink since they have Aguas frescas on tap. They served my drink right away and it was refreshing made with lemon instead of a traditional pepino that is made with limes. More like a lemonade with some cucumbers. The tacos came out fairly quick and looked amazing. They added a side of corn almost like elotes and some sauces and a couple slices of a radish one lime. The tacos were delicious I liked the freshness of the tortillas and heated with a bit of oil to make them soft but not fall apart soft on my carne asada taco and al pastor. They both had great flavor and the sauce were decent. The green one was like a tomatillo but not spicy and the red one was a little bit spicy. The Baja fish taco was really good made with a flour tortilla still crisp and held together well and the sauce was plentiful that I didn't even need to add anything. The fish was well seasoned and the slaw gave it a perfect texture. I don't eat corn that often but still tasted it and was great, seasoned with some spice and warm and cozy feels. I also picked a chocoflan and it was the perfect treat to end the meal. Beautifully moist dessert the only thing I prefer it a bit more Carmel sauce. The staff cleared up our table and were so nice. We came when they had trivia night and when in Rome you play trivia and it was actually fun but we didn't stay for the whole game. They also have a table that has cutlery, to go boxes, napkins and cups and ice water dispenser and some sauces. A place if I'm ever in the area again I will be stopping at again. read more

What a neat place. Lots of space and plenty of parking. The food is fresh and good. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Several different dishes ordered at our table and everyone had good comments for the food. I had the Chimi and it was plenty to eat. read more

BOCA is ALWAYS ON POINT! It has honestly become my most reliable amazing food in the city. It's consistently delicious and fresh. I have been multiple times (maybe 5-6 times) and everything is always so good. My favorites are the Baja Fish Tacos (both grilled and fried iterations) and the tamales. My husband loves their steak chimichanga and Pizza Birria. Their margaritas are amazing-- and 2-for-1! They also have trivia and SINGO! I had to finally come and share the love! It is a cute place and easy to walk in and order food in 5 min or less. I like the fact that the owner is a veteran. The reason for the 4 stars... every time the door opened a gust of wind would come through making it very uncomfortable while eating. We did not sit next to the door, we actually picked a table furthest from the door. As for the food, it was good just not the explosion I was hoping for. I ordered a bang bang grilled shrimp and a Baja fish tacos and the portions of the seafood were minuscule. My shrimp taco only had 4 itty bitty shrimp and the fish was maybe 2oz; neither going the length on my tortilla. They both had more garnish than protein. At $4.50 per taco you would expect more. I took these pictures as soon as the food was delivered. We still enjoyed our date night and the food photographed well. read more

This unassuming restaurant was a wonderful find on our trip through the city. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Outstanding First Visit to Boca Taco and Tequila! This was my first time at Boca Taco and Tequila, and it definitely won't be my last. The food was absolutely outstanding--fresh, flavorful, and served up fast. The setup is walk-up and order, grab a number, and head back to your seat while the super-efficient and friendly staff bring your food out. Everyone there was working hard and keeping things moving smoothly, even with the Cinco de Mayo crowd. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun, perfect for the occasion. They had a DJ spinning music, which gave the place a festive vibe. Personally, I'd love to hear a bit more authentic Mexican music in the mix, but I wasn't complaining--everything else was on point. Stopped by as soon as the doors opened on our way to Nashville & these were the Best street tacos I've had (I've had a lot). All the food we ordered tasted so fresh and delicious.
