I got my nails done on Thursday…read more It is now Tuesday, and the acrylic is lifting at the edges, the top coat is flaking, and my thumb nail has popped off. The shaping and artwork were both decent, so I think this is a fault of the products they use in the salon. The tech who did my nails was friendly and talkative and checked in with me every step of the process.

She tried to show him her nails in a very low voice so that his customers would not hear her. He responded by becoming belligerent and rude. He refused to look at her nails , spoke to her in a disrespectful manner and proceeded to yell at her. So ,she did not respond to him, but returned to the outside to wait for her Dial a Ride van. While waiting for her Dial a Ride van, she began to have trouble breathing!! She returned inside, told the owner that she was having trouble breathing and asked him to call 911 or Parimetcs. He refused to call for help. She returned outside where she called and one of his customers came out and called for her. She was also kind enough to wait with her until the paramedics came and took her to the hospital. Should a person like this salon owner , even be in a public service business? Is it ok for him to treat his customers like this? Why would he not call for help for her? It can't be because of her behavior as she was polite and tried not to disturb his customers. Was it because of her age?? Her gender?? Her race?? Or, is he just a "Disrespectful Jerk"? I don't want to support a business that treats its customers as he does. Where is this man's humanity? A customer of his , called for the ambulance for the senior lady. She was hospitalized for day. How rude of him to ignore her.. Very poor service. Very poor business practice. This is the biggest sigh of disappointment. Let me start off by saying that this salon started off…read moregreat the first 2 times. This 3rd time around I planned to get a gel fill and gel pedicure with acrylic (to shape my toe nail beds) While the lady was starting on my pedicure, she stated the total would be $81 for everything. I agreed and she continued with my feet. Then, we moved on to my gel fill and at the end she wrote $121 on the receipt. I was a literally confused on the total and I asked her " Wait, I believe the total was $81" and she said " No it's $50 for acrylic powder and $31 for gel pedicure" and I was baffled. Then I said " well I've never spent that much on a pedicure and you stated $81 in the beginning" That means each toe was $5 = $50 for 10 toes to use acrylic powder on it. I have been to many salons in Los Angeles region, including Beverly Hills and I have never had a salon charge $81 for the most basic pedicure. The most I've spent along with acrylic was $60. But they were charging $81!! Not including tip. As a marketing professional that price is wayyyyy over price and they need to be a little transparent and have the management be transparent with its customers. I can see it being a huge problem in the future overcharging for some acrylic powder. Suggestion: maybe drop down the price for acrylic powder for pedicures to $2/toe. I can see that being a viable option. So that means the total for gel pedicure w acrylic powder = $51 not including tip. But anyways they did a great job but I disliked how they handled the situation especially being a new salon. I'm hesitant to return back here unless they become more transparent with pricing and list it on their menu about acrylic powder addition pricing . ALSO, my receipt said NT nails meaning this salon must be a sister salon to the NT nail salons around town apparently. Not the biggest fan of those salons either based on previous experiences there. Please reach out so I can somehow be compensated or refunded partially based on the original agreed amount of $81. (Refund amount = $40)

Today, I found Donnie at KLC Nail & SPA all the way in Ceres. It's 20 min drive for me but it worth my time. I came into the salon the establishment looks clean. Walls and lights are bright! There are so many variety of colors to choose for your nails! Their music played on the TV screen was a good choice. I came into spa to get pampered and enjoyed. With the type music is playing on the TV beach ocean made my mind felt even more relaxed for my upcoming vacation!! All Nail technicians staff are friendly! Thank you Donnie for your service on my new simple natural full set! Thank you Kaly for your service on my pedicure treatment I felt very relaxing! This client came into the salon with wheelchair her drop off person left her there. Donnie greeted her ask her "how may I help you?" She replied, "filling!" Immediately two staff came to greeted her and push her wheelchair to the station for her service! To my understanding this was a Good Excellent Customer Service practice! A little girl came into salon for manicure and pedicure service! Her mother sat next to her while KLC nail technician lady was very friendly with the little girl. Asking her about her day going and so on! Good customer service! Because the establishment is Under New Management! I recommend you give them a chance to try their talent skills for your service. I can see they're trying their best to maintain good customer services in this community bare in with them communicating! I wish best to KLC Nail & Spa staff team!!! I hope KLC Nails & Spa will continue on their successful business. Look in my previous Yelp reviews regardless of Donnie work as for your reference!

I feel bad writing this review because honestly the work came out good & I stayed silent throughout…read moremy experience so maybe it's my fault but I was anxious as it was my first time in a nail salon. However, they go too fast with the filing to the point I had to deal with a burning sensation for about 3 hours from all the friction. I do believe he gave me ring of fire as I left my appointment 5 hours ago & my nails are still sore. He was holding onto my finger while putting gems on & the burning got worse. When it came to doing my acrylic toes, I had previous work done & in the picture not only can you see how he tore off a corner of my natural nail but you can see him using a nail tip to take off my other acrylic nails & before that he tried a nail clipper. At any other salon I feel like a soak off or even a nail drill would've been the common sense solution. They also use nail tips for their acrylic toes which is unsafe if you know nails but at this point I decided to continue being quiet as he had already taken all my natural nail that I had grown. I also had seen a review where they believed they were being talked about & I believe I was too. At some point I saw one of the women point at me & they all started talking. Unfortunately, I kept quiet the entire time as I was scared to speak up. I paid the 135 & left. The work came out exceptional I suppose, the experience it took to get them is enough for me to never return.
