I initially had a male technician (I believe his name was Kelvin). I came in requesting a new set. Instead of properly soaking off my existing acrylics, he began aggressively drilling and then used another nail tip to forcefully pry the acrylic off my natural nails. He clipped the corners and pushed underneath the acrylic until it ripped off, which was painful. When I asked about soaking, I was told I hadn't specifically requested it. As a client, I expect a licensed professional to follow proper removal techniques and explain the safest process, rather than proceeding in a way that causes discomfort. I was also concerned about the tools being used, as they appeared previously used and not freshly prepared in front of me. The second technician who took over was kind, but the initial removal process was rough and unprofessional. Acrylic removal should not involve prying product off the natural nail. read more

I went there to get acrylic toe nails done which would be 55 dollars just for the toe nails, they asked me if I wanted to get a pedicure as well which I told them no because it would be an extra 30 dollars which I can't justify spending 85 dollars on getting my toes done. I waited 30 minutes while they seated multiple people who just walked in. When I was finally seated I was put on a manicure chair where they usually do nails and had to put my foot on the girls knee and I'm sorry it was just gross I don't understand why they wouldn't put me on my pedicure chair because I could not see anything that was going on with my feet. The lady literally drilled my skin and made me bleed without telling me and she still proceeded to drill my skin although I'm bleeding, mind you I didn't know I was bleeding until after the appointment because I couldn't see what was going on and she didn't tell me anything. After she told me she go on the pedicure chair for the polish and I genuinely don't understand why she didn't put me there to begin with. There was multiple toe nails that were longer than the others and she didn't even fix them although I asked her to. My pinky toe was cricked as well. I was in so much pain it was just such a bad experience, even after all that pain she still proceeded to ask me for a tip and I'm like how can someone have the audacity to ask that when they knew I was in pain. read more

Very upset with the customer service, came in to get my nails soaked off and a manicure and was treated very poorly. It wasn't intell I sat down and said I didn't want color, the woman's whole demeanor changed and she started being so ruff. I have so much acrylic on my nails still and paid for a manicure that was completely bare minimum only filing my nails. I have been to Sparkle nails about 3 times now. They are clean and attentive. Lots of colors to choose from as well. The second time I went I noticed there was something wrong with the gel they used. It was cracking and peeling off. I called and they fixed the issue with any charge and I appreciated that! Decent on prices as well. Probably my new favorite leave in ceres for sure. read more

Today, I decided to try out a nail salon in Ceres. I did my online research, and found a little place called Sparkle Nails that caught my eye. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the staff and was immediately stationed at the pedicure station. Lynn was my technician, and let me just tell you, she was very friendly and her work was amazing. I got the best stone massage EVER!! Once I realized I loved the service and atmosphere, I decided to get acrylic nails . I was stationed at Kelvins table. He is a professional! His work was absolutely clean, he was gentle, friendly, and very funny. You go Kelvin. The prices were very fair and definitely worth every penny for the amazing service. Great and easy to get to location. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. The ladies did a great job and the prices were really reasonable. The salon was decorated nicely and was clean. They had a lot of colors to choose from and also do nail art as you can see the decor to represent Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I had the Deluxe Pedicure and a Tip & Dip manicure. At Sparkle Nails, Ceres. I live down south in a beach community with at least 5-10 nail salons within walking distance to my house - and I've tried most of them. The pedicure I received at Sparkle Nails was the best I've received in years! Long massage, yummy smelling scrub, hot towel wrap, warm stone massage... it was relaxing and my toes came out beautiful. As for my nails - LOVE them. The salon is CLEAN and I was able to just walk in on a Friday afternoon. I do get the basic pedicure but he missed step, used cuticle cream on one foot but not the other. As he was pumicing my calluses he was actually pumicing my foot taking off skin. He asked me questions that I wouldn't have been asked such as "does your nails tend to lift?" We told her we'd be waiting & instead of waiting inside since we had a toddler with us whom wanted to roam we'd be outside. Came back 20 minutes later - still waiting. They took 2 people who came in after us to start on their feet. And then they took 1 woman to start on her nails. They then told us it was going to be a 10 minute wait. 10 minutes turned to 20 minutes turned to 30 minutes which turned to an 1 hour. By the time we left we had been waiting at the nail salon for almost 2 hours. Personally I will not be returning here. read more

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND, I came for a pedicure and the lady left my toe nail shorter than my skin. She was also cutting my skin when filing my nails. My nails are not straight they are crooked. They also reuse files and don't change them out for new ones after clients. I paid 54 dollars to not even like my pedicure. They are rough and move to fast. Again i do not recommend this place for a french tip pedicure. read more

I requested that my fingernails be polished with colors representing a team, along with 1 nail on each hand having a baseball design and the team initials "SF". What my nails ended up looking like was more of Halloween nails with a scary nail that doesn't look like a baseball at all. And the worker did not know how to put SF on a nail. The worker was allegedly the owner. Then she charged me $45. I kept a picture if you want to see the work before deciding whether to use this facility or not.
