I really like this QFC! I went grocery shopping on Saturday at around 9:30am and it was very clean, quiet, organized and fully stocked + the employees were very helpful. There are lots of solid deals (for QFC members) and they have unique grocery items I haven't noticed in other stores. In short Up here, on the west side of I5, this is one of the bigger and nicer supermarkets. You might have to drive a little ways if you're picky and need to get a bunch of things. In long Just in case you didn't know there are hundreds of incredibly similar houses subdividing the miles from here to the water's edge, they've built a strip mall here that looks like a dutch colonial house with big gables on the second floor. It actually looks like a bunch of those houses all next to each other, because it's a pretty big strip mall. Inside, while it isn't as big as some supermarkets on the other side of the main freeway, it IS one of the bigger ones over here. Big wine department. Big snack section. Meat and produce sections are kinda average, though, and those sections do matter most, but they're there. I came over yesterday to pick up an online order, and the kid who brought out my stuff was super nice. They didn't have everything I ordered, and she explained why. It all went pretty smoothly overall. I've hit this place quite a few times over the years and have generally gotten what I needed for a decent price...though I'll admit that I often go over the freeway if I need more than the basics. read more

this is my qfc my wife and i have been shopping here since moving to the area. food is ok even if a bit overpriced Serious quality problems, seemingly related to dairy. we twice bought bad cheese, both times gouda. one was too old the other was contaminated with soap or some other cleaning supply. I choose to shop here even though I have a few closer grocery stores. They have higher prices on most things but their weekly sales and coupons are the best around. The employees inside the store are usually pretty friendly. I come across the occasional unfriendly one but it isn't too often. I have been using the grocery pickup the last year and a half. It is really convenient and works well. The app makes it really simple and foolproof. The employees that bring the groceries to my car are always nice and it's always very quick. read more

I think I'm done shopping here due to one solvable issue. First, I want to clarify that the staff is very nice and they do a great job. It's unfortunate that this store's management doesn't properly staff a sufficient amount of cashiers, which forces customers to use self checkout. The self checkout lines are choked with shoppers and technical issues. This makes it a nightmare trying to shop for a larger amount of groceries (especially while trying shop with my kid) If this can get resolved, I'd be happy to try shopping here again. read more

I've been to this QFC many many many times and although generally I don't love QFC because their prices tend to be high I definitely will shop there because I can find deals on things that are marked down which is every time I go there which makes it definitely worth it for me. It's a nice store and I like the atmosphere inside the store it's comfortable and the people that work there seem to be fairly friendly and honestly if I need some thing I can find it pretty easily at the store. I think if you can go down the road to Safeway you'll save some money but if you need some groceries and you don't mind buying stuff that's marked down or maybe you don't care about the price and this is a pretty good start to go to. read more

QFC is generally overpriced IMO, but this a great location with employees who are friendly, care, and pay attention. QFCs deli section is better than Safeway's, Albertsons, etc. They are normally very busy at lunch time with people choosing their sandwiches and lunch combos. read more

It seems QFC prefers online shoppers over in store shoppers as they have given the majority of preferred parking spaces to the online pickup shoppers! This location has limited parking already without allocating the handicapped (understandable) and now online pick up! My last visit was on Friday afternoon, parking somewhat close to the store was impossible in the torrential rain so I drove to the Albertsons up the Speedway. I do prefer shopping at this QFC but when I could not park close, feel they need to reallocate their allegiances to the brick and mortar shoppers. I ended up shopping at a competitor because QFC dedicated much of their convenient parking to people that dont walk the aisles! read more

Besides the floor being little different than the parking lot (the lot has far less obstacles ie. cardboard boxes everywhere) the prices are some kind of capitalist fever dream. So cute! This is the nearest grocery store to one of my friend's houses so I always stop in here to pick things up before a gathering at her house. Since we haven't been able to gather for awhile I hadn't been here in several months but drove up recently to drop something off at her doorstep. On my way out of Mukilteo I had to stop in at this location of QFC to pick up groceries for the week. It's such a warm and inviting grocery store that I feel happy when I'm here. I have shopped there for over 20 years because it's a mile down the road from me. Post pandemic it is just an unpleasant experience. I haven't purchased a loaf of bread or anything from the bakery that wasn't dry and stale from day one in years. Same with the meat department, it seems like Mukilteo is the end of the line for deliveries, or it's just more profitable to sell leftovers. Some of the staff are fantastic! Courteous, respectful, and helpful. But many are surly, rude, and just down right unpleasant to interact with. This is especially true when they want to scan a drivers license. I appose as there is a lot of personally identifiable information on there and no accounting for where it goes once scanned. I have actually had the card snatched out of my hand and scanned after I requested it not be. Home address, height, weight, eye color, donor status, etc. It's a LOT of information. Here is the privacy statement from QFC website related to the practice. "If we scan your license for this purpose, we do not retain your drivers' license number after we verify your age". Notice it doesn't say anything about all the other data just DL#. It just feels really sleazy. Wish they would just fold so Trader Joes could move in. read more

We have been shopping at the Mukilteo Speedway qfc for the last 12 years. Sadly, in the last several months their quality of customer service has gone down hill rapidly...and today hit rock bottom for me. They usually just have one check stand open anymore because they want us all to check ourselves out. Customer service means nothing to them anymore! I'm tired of spending precious time waiting in line because they don't want to pay employees and I refuse to be put to work checking myself out...especially paying such high prices. I have never liked Albertsons but guess I'll have to learn to in the future. As a last note. When I lived down in Redmond, I used to get the sushi at the QFC near Bella Bottega for lunch at least 3 times a week. They had the most amazing variety and it always tasted great... Now I'm up in the Mukilteo area these days.. I thought I would keep up the same tradition at the Mukilteo QFC and try their sushi.... a big disappointment. They have very little variety (tuna, salmon and shrimp) and they don't even make California rolls. So sad... looks like Hanami Sushi will be getting all my business. read more

Let me start by saying this is a very beautiful store, esthetically. This was my first time shopping at this QFC and most likely my last. My first issue was in the wine department when I was looking for a brand of wine. There was a man with a cart of cardboard on the same aisle who looked at me and walked away. I assumed he was just a vendor, until I went around the corner and asked someone if the wine steward was available. It was the same man!! I asked him about the product, showed him a picture and he asked what it was. When I told him, he just said no we don't have that and resumed his conversation with the produce employee. I thanked him as I was walking away but he was already turned away and said nothing. There were several items in the asian food section as well as in dried beans and rice without price tags, so I didn't buy them because I didn't want to be surprised at the checkout. The young man in the service fish department was an absolute delight, as was the young man in service deli; both were extremely friendly and knowledgeable--I wish I had gotten their names because they were the only bright spot in this store. After I checked out I realized that the paper towels I purchased had rang up $4.00 higher than the 6.99 tag that they were RIGHT IN FRONT OF. I went back to the shelf to double check and even took a picture. Then I went to the service desk and showed the employee working. She did not believe me and walked over to the aisle and pointed to some toilet paper(the desk is right by this aisle) and I said "these are paper towels, not toilet paper." She walked down to the end of the aisle and moved some product around and then came back up with a different package and said "these are the ones that are 6.99." I said the ones I purchased were in front of the tag that said $6.99. She said that they are side by side. I said but there is NO TAG for 10.99 and they are all mixed together. She then said "well, they are not 6.99." I was so frustrated I told her to just refund me the difference. Then when I got home I realized that NONE of my digital coupons came off my order, and on the bottom of my receipt it says that this store is having communication problems and to call with price errors! I thought this would be a really great store to shop at but I will never go there again! This store needs to get tags up on their product and explain what making something right means to their employees. read more

The prices are just ridiculous. Vast majority of food is run of the mill, non-organic junk. And the organic food/grass fed beef are so racked up in price its not worth wasting your money for the small amount you get. I only stop by if I need something very small like water or seasonings, beyond that I will drive 15 minutes south to a more fair priced store with a vastly bigger selection of healthier foods. Second star for customer service. Most of the employees are happy to go out of their way to help you or partake in a friendly conversation while checking out. read more

Although some of the prices are on the high side, I like this location. I usually buy some produce, cage-free hen laid eggs, and cheese here. They have a good organic selection too from organic apples to organic tomatoes and organic zucchini. They have hormone-free milk in glass containers. I think the deposit is $1.89 for the bottle but the quality is very high. This is my go-to place to buy quality ice cream for my partner. They also have a rack of marked-down breads, cookies, desserts, scones, etc. on a shelf in the rear of the store at the end of one of the aisles. I like their marked-down Schwartz Brothers Bakery blueberry scones which I eat on my cheat days. They have several self-checkout lines but I usually go to one of the Express lines that has a cashier. Cashiers and baggers are very friendly and helpful. Never had a problem. Will I return? Definitely. read more

Service has gone downhill for quite a while here. It appears they don't teach employees how to bag groceries, too. Just went through the express lane, wasn't greeted or acknowledged by the checker until he was done scanning my order and asked me "all in one bag?" I said sure, because I knew it could all fit. Unfortunately, he wasn't taught how to bag either and stacked everything in the most ridiculous way, with my 3 lb pkg of chicken breasts wobbling around on the very top. Then he looked away without thanking me or anything. I grabbed another bag and redid the bagging job like a friggin pro!! Then I got home and realized he didn't give me my receipt so I couldn't even check to see if everything rang up correctly and what his name was. So, I called to speak to a manager about this poor service, was put on hold for several minutes before someone else picked up and asked if I was waiting for someone. QFC is a great place to go for specialty ingredients and good quality baked goods. This QFC is a bit smaller than others I've been to but I've always been able to find what I need. The BEST thing is that they now do Clicklist. You can order online and go park in the special spots and they will bring your ordered groceries out and load them into your car. I have done it about 5 times now and every time has been perfect. If they don't have exactly what I've purchased they have made an equal substitution and only charged the price I saw when I checked out. The produce and meat quality has been first rate. I cannot rave about this service enough. It is a significant time and mental energy saver for me and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The people who work Clicklist are very friendly and helpful as well. The prices are comparable with my favorite store ever, Fred Meyer. Since FM and QFC are owned by the same company, all the points I earn at QFC count towards Fred Meyer gas which is the best deal around. read more

I have to agree with others about this store. I recently moved to Mukilteo & was excited that there was a QFC here, I had never had one near my home before. The place is laid out strange, it is very hard to find things & the prices are really high. I was surprised to see Fred Meyer brands at such high prices. I do like the deli sandwiches, but I have to admit I left mine in the cart in the store with the rest of my groceries because I just did not have time to wait in line for 20 minutes to get checked out. In hopes of getting out with my food I decided to get out of the non moving line & try the self checkout since there were only 2 cashiers working (note, that means not standing around visiting with each other) & mountains of customers. But I could not get it to scan & there was no one there to help anyone. I gave up, left my full cart near the door & went to another store where they have the staff to check out the customers. I will NOT go back again. I'd rather drive & give my money to stores that focus on customer service at fair prices. read more

I always like to shop here because it is close to where I live.I have never had any problems with anything here before. I stopped in to get a couple of things for breakfast at 545 am, when I walked in there was already a line with no checkers to be seen anywhere. I took my time thinking someone would be up there when I was done shopping, but no, still no checker up front. there is a dog toy you are supposed to squeeze for help but still no one came, lucky a outside merchandiser saw a bunch of people waiting and went to get a female night crew clerk. she was super grumpy did not even say anything to us just started ringing up people, no thank you, no good morning not even a simple smile.It seems she hates customers. it is really a shame that your employees treat customers in this way as we are the reason for her paycheck. My wife and I just moved back to civilization from south whidbey island and our first grocery experience was this qfc location. I wanted to make some jerkey and inquired with the butcher Chris if he could slice my choice of beef for me. After some discussion Chris and I decided I would come back the next morning and he would have my cut for me. And he stated "it may even be sliced and ready". Next morning I walk in and Chris spots me before I see him. He pointed at me, turned around and retrieved my cuts for me. World class customer service! All of this without even paying for the cuts first. I am a store manager for a major retailer and have been in retail for 16 years or since I was 19 years old. It's really funny that people complain about the deli and produce because I like those two departments. DELI - I'm five feet tall and am never ignored. I just make sure to make eye contact or say hello. True, there are usually 5 people working there, but they're always BUSY, so I just make myself known by saying hello. I know this is a huge inconvenience to people who think that everyone should just know WHEN you're standing there, but realistically speaking it's not ...realistic. If people in the deli were just standing around twiddling their thumbs then I'd know there isn't enough to do! This shows me that the store is financially responsible in keeping their employees busy. Oh, and their KALE salad (superfood salad) is the bomb. I tried Safeway's and it was drenched in sugar. QFC's comparative salad has a nice, bright zest with just the right amount of flavor and sweetness (which is not much). PRODUCE - The produce buyer at QFC brings in Lemongrass, which is amazing. I love being able to buy the lemongrass without going to Whole Foods or Chinatown or HMart since I work and live in Mukilteo. I also love the small bulk section - it has all the basics. They have a nice Organic section too paying attention to carrying the items founds in the dirty dozen in that section (like apples, cucumbers, grapes, and etc). I also find that the checkout is very efficient. The staff there keeps the line going through and all seem very experienced and well trained. At the end of the day, I find what I need here, and price is relative. I've found some things to be extremely competitive and others pricey, but that's the same in every brand of store. It's called QUALITY Food Center and I definitely get what I pay for. read more
