Staff is very helpful and friendly. Always directs me when I can't find my item. Check out staff in the bag girl is nice and helpful. I would recommend not putting a giant speed bump next to the handicap stalls. Very very difficult to get a heavy cart over that speed bump especially for disabled people. I would also recommend a closer cart return for the disabled. Otherwise great selection and the deli is wonderful. read more

Drove forever to get to the store. When I got there I went to the service desk and asked someone if I could get some help cadhing my cadhiers check and was told that they only cash employees of the store paychecks and to go away rather shortly. They are listed as a kroger money services store I guess money services for people who work there and not for the public. It's more expensive than some places, but probably more middle of the line pricing. I stopped at this QFC today with mom because we were in the area and I was looking for something specific. I did not find what I was looking for, a sugar-free lemonade favored powdered drink mix. So instead I got sparkling water naturally essenced with lemon. A very refreshing drink no matter the season especially with ice cubes in a nice tall glass. Aisles were clearly marked and it was easy to find the shelf space for the items I was looking for. Self check-out and cashier check-out options are available. I went the self check-out way and there was a short line that didn't have too long of a wait. A bit busy this Sunday afternoon, but that is just this neighborhood for you. The parking lot had only a few open spots left when we got there so we parked next to the gas pumping area. We had to wait a little bit when we went to leave for the cars to clear out behind our parked car, but maneuvering out of the parking lot after that was less hectic. read more

In my first trip to Seattle, I was not familiar with QFC. QFC stands for Quality Food Center, I think the company is somehow related to Kroger, sorry I'm not sure how. The store was really clean. They have a nice produce section and organic foods. I loved the chocolate cupcakes at the bakery. Service was good. The store really feels like a Kroger but maybe a little better, depending on which Kroger you go to. Plenty of parking. This store is walking distance from homes and neighborhoods. read more

I stopped in here the other night with my girlfriend. We had a big cart of groceries that we had gotten for the week. She very politely asked the front clerk if she could let her into the bathroom that had closed a few minutes prior at 7pm. The clerk said they couldn't do that. Why can't you go above and beyond for a clearly paying customer? I understand that it can be difficult to keep out people with drug issues, but to close the bathroom at 7pm is absolutely ridiculous. Just add a code like every other store. Is it even legal to have a bathroom that's barely open? Anyway since they weren't willing to help my girlfriend out with a reasonable request we left the groceries there and saved our money. We will never shop there again. We will take our money to another location. read more

Came into my local QFC today to pick up some liquor. As I always do I walked to the u-scan clerk and asked if I she could assist me in getting some liquor. She then asked in a very rude tone... I'm sorry you need licorice!!! I said no I would like to get some liquor. She then told me I had to get in line because people steal liquor all the time! I told her it's held at the counter for me as I've always done it for over 4 years now. Turns out my Wife has had encounters with her as well, which I found out after I left the store before even beginning my shopping and returned to my vehicle. Incredibly rude individual STEF. Wow what a steep decline this store has had in recent years. I have been a loyal Kroger client for 30 years and this store has single handedly changed that. Considering I live one mile from the store that's saying a lot. You name it, this store suffers from it. It looks and feels dirty. They've scaled back their hours and staff. The staff is unhappy and it shows. Their technology stinks. They make you download their app and load digital coupons on to it. Today I load 5 coupons on it and none of them work. That requires me to wait for 8 minutes at the one register so the clerk can try and manually override the incorrect price. This meant the 4 people behind me got to wait too because no other register was open. Then I notice other incorrect charges and now I get to wait for as refund in the customer service line. Then I get to wait for another 10 minutes in the self check out line because the one manned register was now closed while a clerk, Kim, who was on her break came over and manually overrided each and every item to get the register to honor their published prices. Total length of trip - 41 minutes for 6 different items. They would have got 1 star but Kim was so fantastic that I felt like she earned them the extra one. Their newer store manager doesn't seem to care. I have talked to him 3x in person when there have been stocking issues or other issues in the past and he feigned interest but nothing ever improves. So now, I drive the extra time to Safeway and, on occasion, Fred Meyer's. It's a shame. This is was MY neighborhood grocery store for the first 8 years in my new home town. Went there last night to pick up some food for dinner. Yes food for dinner at QFC ???Yes, sometime grocery stores have good for. But at this QFC that general tso's chicken really surprised me. It was really good. Originally was going in for their (8) piece of chickens, but saw that general tso's chicken, I had to sample it. Ended up getting 1/2 pounds of it plus them 8 pieces of chicken. I am Not much into too spicy food, but this one was kinda out if my range fir spicy hot, but the flavor was really good and I didn't get sick from eating it like other restaurant or grocery stores. So YES QFC you did good on this dish for food from grocery store, BUT your (8) chicken had NO taste. Need some kind if season to them chickens !!!! Yesterday, marked a deviation involving barbeque chips, apple cider, and sleepy cheese pasta. All items involved premium taste and the hunting experience was set to baby-mode. This location is small but has everything you need including a security guard at the front, or at least on call that can be present if needed. This area attracts some unsavory types of folks and it definitely feels safer to have some sort of security guard not far away. That being said this QFC upholds the high quality standard I have gotten accustomed to with QFC stores across King County. I found what I was in search of right away and was in and out of the store in ten minutes. They weren't cleaning the self checkout stations between patrons but that was okay with me since I wash my hands frequently and the stores can't possibly spend every minute wiping down the checkout machines. There's no way to ensure that the products people are buying weren't already touched by someone before them so they should really just leave wipes by each checkout for those who want it to be cleaned before they'll use the machines. It eliminated the hold up that the U-Village location has been running into with having to wipe down all the machines, only letting groups of shoppers through the line once all in the previous group have passed through and they've had time to properly disinfect between the two. read more

High prices and long lines. They don't care if it's the 5:0 pm rush. They never open more than 2 checks stands. 15 customers waiting in both lines. I see it every time I come here. Luckily i have lots of supermarkets to choose from, about 7 within a5 min drive it seems. But this QFC, is the best in my hood. There prices are abit steeper than most, but there customer service to top notch. The lady at the bakery who always has a smile for me and my little boy. The man in the seafood section, who will bring out a crab for my son to see. The only QFC I have been to that has a money center but refuses to cash any payroll checks except for their own QFC payroll. Live right across the street. Just went in to cash my paycheck, after an hour and a half bus ride, so they could tell me they don't cash them. Passed at least 30 places on the way home that I could have cashed my check at. Their website says they do check cashing. They have the stuff to do check cashing, AKA they had the ability to do it and simply would not. The selection here is also pretty terrible compared to other locations, it does not have wifi like other locations, no cosmetics of any kind, they won't even sell you gift cards after 10pm. Kiss my $100/week on groceries goodbye, I am done shopping here. read more

Went to the deli at 8:30 tonight. Saw a sign stating that they close at 9pm. After standing there for 10 minutes, I walk over to a employee and had to get his attention. He told me they where cleaning up and I could not get what I wanted. I mentioned the sign and was told that 9 pm was the time the employees left not the time they closed. So I told him that they should state that on the sign , he said tough luck, they had to leave at 9 . Needless to say I am not coming back and let all my neighbors know of their service read more

Experienced racial bias incident at this store, and so far no satisfactory response from the management team. It appears Kroger does tolerate discrimination in their stores. Another customer and I were harassed/stalked and accused of stealing by the employee working at the meat section. This feels like a hate crime because the other customer and I are both Asians. The employee involved didn't behave that way toward the other non-Asian customers in the same area. I've talked to Jena, shift supervisor, and Aster, assistant manager, at the store over the phone. Aster took my contact information and had promised to get back to me. I've also filled out the Kroger shopping survey and sent an online comment. I received a standard, cookie-cutter email response from Melissa, who is the Kroger Customer Connect. And so far nothing from the store at all. I would like Kroger to take this seriously because racially motivated hate crime is on the rise due to COVID-19. I know everyone, including the QFC employee who attacked us, may be nervous and on the edge because of the pandemic. But that is not an excuse for this behavior. I grew up in Hawaii, received my doctoral degree at UW, and had never experienced racism in Seattle until now. I would like the employee involved to be aware of how hurtful her action had been and for QFC to improve employee diversity training. I have shopped at this particular QFC since 2015 and have been a loyal customers at QFC since 2003. With increasing diversity in Seattle racism cannot be tolerated, especially at a neighborhood grocery store. I am planning to take my business elsewhere and will try very hard to avoid QFC. It's such a shame because they actually have fresh produce, good quality meat, and most of the time friendly staff. read more

On what I thought was a typical evening at the store turned into a total painful experience. What normally would be a 2 minute checkout with a human being, and instead my wife and I were forced to use the self scanner. Three are many reasons why we do not use them. They make me feel terribly uncomfortable. They take longer than an actual person. To pay a person to stand there and observe, and help customers do the job of a checker.....is ridiculous. During the time we were there it would have saved our time, made the business more money faster, and had several less frustrated customers. Also When I asked At what time the checkstands close I was told that it varies from night to night by the gentleman closing out and counting the cash at the stand right next to the self checkout. The woman who was helping out all of us who couldn't figure out how to use the self checkout was unfriendly and shouldn't be in customer service. I've been in the service-hospitality industry and I was beyond frustrated with the lack of customer service last night. At Safeway, 2 minutes down the street, they turn off the self scan at night. That is a security and safety reason, I'm sure of it. That is where we will continue to shop. read more

This is a review for the pharmacy only. I was waiting in line to pick up a prescription and I was able to hear all the customer's medical information from the pharmacist who was serving the customer in front of me (I was standing 10 feet away, giving the customer enough space for privacy). The pharmacist was a pregnant blond woman who seemed very frustrated at the customer and was loudly talking about the customer's mental health illness and their prescription. I was shocked to witness such unprofessional behavior and also felt bad for the customer because she was being served by someone who didn't want to help her. When the customer left with her medication, the pharmacist rolled her eyes and then looked at me to step up to the counter. She was very short with me and seemed very annoyed. I quickly left. I don't think this type of behavior should be acceptable from medical professionals. I do not recommend coming here, please go to another pharmacy where your privacy is more likely to be seen of great importance and where pharmacists actually like doing their job. The fact that I can hear a customer's personal medical information and also witness seeing a customer get treated poorly for their medical condition is appalling and inexcusable. read more

They have a great selection (as most QFCs do). Prices are comparable to everything else around. The staff is always super friendly. Always smiling and always very helpful when you can't find something. Side note: the cheese is not with all the other dairy. It is on the same aisle as the bacon and condiments. read more

This is my go to store just because it's close. I prefer Fred Meyer because it's more affordable and has a bigger selection. I'm also not thrilled with how this one is laid out, but none of that stops me from going. Even the sketchy surroundings and shady parking lot. The staff is nice but sometimes the lines at night get ridiculously long, and there isn't always enough staff to help. Other than that, it's still my go to store. read more

The employees around the checkout are constantly complaining loudly to each other about their jobs and about the other employees, sometimes outright ignoring customers in the process. I shop here when I need items for dinner. Last-minute items, if you know what I mean. The store is well-organized and has a good selection. The bakery is usually full and the butcher was knowledgable and kind enough to cut up my meat for me. They always seem to have a good deal on the energy drinks that I like and lots of "clearance" (aka day-old) items. Their produce section is very nice and fresh. read more
