I am writing this review to let people know that they don't care about their employees. I am 22 and they fired me right before my probationary period for a misdemeanor that I let them already know ahead of time in the application and interview process. They have been struggling just to get people out the door, the lines are always long because they have no front end support. I am particularly upset with QFC because they put me in a really bad position, I could no longer fight for my job back and I was used up for 2 whole months and told I had to be terminated. I called union rep and they could not do a thing for me. So now I'm on the verge of being homeless, I've lost my car and I'm going terribly into debt. I hate to say it but the store is getting worse and worse. Someone drove through the south door about 6 month ago and they've never opened it again. They say they are saving on shoplifting, but to the detriment of paying customers. There were no lids for the containers at the olive bar, the deli guy was busy so I brought my product to the bakery and asked if they could grab a lid for me, they refused. Another time I asked to see the expiration date on the deli meat, it was due to expire the next day, I asked for some fresher deli meat and they refused. They said the meat is good beyond the expiration date. They only have two registers open and it's mostly self serve. The parking lot is full of shopping carts. The store and customer service is sad and tired. read more

I love this QFC they are awesome ! Today I was trying to get a deal as a grocery member and I kinda screwed up . Eduardo and three other staff helped and they gave me the amazing deal . I kept apologizing for asking for it but they were so nice and recognized me as a regular . They are awesome . Gotta bake for them . read more

This place is just weird. The layout is reminiscent of a Spencer's. The selection and staff are ok, but the shoppers are always radiating very strange vibes. read more

They lock restrooms for customers and refuse to open. Rude cashiers. Terrible place. I don't recommend it to anyone else

QFC super market chain is never my first choice when it comes to food. they have a fair selection of food with a poor selection of produce, cheese, wine and beer. Better off with Central Market or any PCC. read more

Local and convenient. Not always the place I shop at as I like to spread it out and shop at many places. I mainly come here for alcohol/Spirits mostly (by the time I get to this establishment during the week I already bought everything else from everywhere else is the reason for this). They usually have what I want in stock and the workers here are usually Swift & quick to open the liquor cabinet when I want access to whatever I wanna buy. The soda, juice, & energy drink selection here is also very good as I like mixing Vodka with stuff like this especially stuff that contains caffeine. This place has a good variety/selection of all of that. Today I got "Four Freedoms 3X Distilled 1.75LT" & Citrus Drop 2 Liter soda aka generic brand of Mountain Dew. Overall I got what I wanted and even though most of my family & friends do not exactly live in this area but if I did I would for sure recommend this store to them. The sugar tax in Seattle is really messed up in my opinion aka I hate that tax personally but with stores like this there awesomeness makes up for that 110%. read more

Not my first choice for groceries, but serves the purpose. It was great to breeze through the store, maneuver up and down the aisles, and get out in a hurry. There were only five or six customers, so it was easy, breezy, beautiful. read more

The recent remodel has made this store much more appealing than it was, but now that the grand re-opening is past the staffing levels seem to have dropped quite a bit. I have seen their plainclothes store loss prevention people here stay pretty busy, and the clientele can seem a little sketchy at times. The prices are high. The Albertsons at 130th & Aurora, the Fred Meyer on LCW, and the Safeway on 175th are much better choices to save a few bucks when shopping. If you are looking for good produce or a good meat selection you are much better off going to Central Market. read more

I've been using this QFC for years and want to give them a shout out. The staff has their hands full as the area can have its rough moments, yet with all of that the staff is courteous and helpful. I can usually get my questions answered and help getting a problem sorted out when I ask. I find their selection pretty decent for a smaller store, but it's the customer service that really makes the difference! read more

I used to love this place.....when i first moved in to the neighborhood - they had a salad bar....its long gone now. The remodel helped - the place was kinda rundown and dingy. My biggest complaint is the deli. In particular - the chicken tenders are pumped so full of saline that they are inedible. its like eating salt tack. read more

The new remodel has really improved this QFC location. They have higher prices than Safeway but the quality of the produce and meats has gone up. They have a lot of different things now, they even have a small aisle section of British and Australian foods, which I thought was a hoot. They have added a Starbucks inside (and there is still the Starbucks across the street, lol) and the deli area has been expanded. The deli/bakery now has fresh baked bread and treats, a larger cheese case, and a sushi bar. This one also has a pharmacy now, so I can finally get my prescriptions filled within walking distance! I just wish they would stop trying to get me to use the Self Checkout lane when I have more than 3 things. I'm paying enough for the groceries, why should I have to ring them up myself? read more

I don't shop here much, opting for Albertsons instead because of price but when I do it's an ok place to shop. A bit overpriced one somethings..like the bread. Ok it's the "cheap" stuff. They price it $1.29 a loaf. The exact same bread at Fred Meyers, (remember Kroger owns them both) is .99! What the?? So we get a jacked up price for the shere JOY of shopping at QFC? Hmm..I'll have to think on that one for a bit. I usually only go here if I run out of something and it's not time for my weekly shopping fest at Costco and Albertsons. read more

This was the first grocery store of QFC I have ever been to since moving up here and first grocery store. I miss going there and was very close to home. I like that they always have things in stock but one thing I do not like is the price. More expensive than Safeway. They do not have much in the Cheese area either. The best part is that they sell bus passes. I do not have to go to Bartell Drugs. read more

I was visiting the area and realized I was getting low on fuel. When I looked at the prices I had to stop and fill up! Wow - they were charging $3.24 a gallon compared to West Seattle where it's closer to $3.60! The pumps are one way, pay attention to the signs so you know which way to enter. I couldn't find the window cleaners, not sure if they offer them here. They do have diesel options and a fuel cleaner you can choose when you're paying. Overall extremely impressed with this gas station (and there is a Brown Bear Car Wash next door). read more

I've found this store to be quite nice, normally clean, have great customer service and a very good bakery. They also have some very nice (and fast) cashiers. Like many others, I wish QFC hadn't been bought by Kroger, but "the Q" is still better than most other local grocers I think. (Trader Joe's being the obvious exception there.) read more

I love this QFC. It has been my local for the past four years. Cheap gas, great service, excellent seafood dept, yummy sushi and most of all, I love the pharmacy staff. They have always been beyond helpful and prompt with prescription refills. Have NEVER had a bad experience at this store. Keep up the good work! read more

I have shopped at this QFC location for a few months now, and I can say that it awesome! I have bought two amazing cakes here in the past month, and I have also tried many cheeses that are unique. They have recently remodeled and I love it. I always come in during the afternoon and I always encounter Kris and Dustin. They are always helping me find the strange products I look for when shopping(mostly organic and gluten free). I look forward to even more awesomeness when the gas station opens up! The manager and a older employee in the deli dept were argumentative and rude to me when I asked if the sign posted for 4 piece chicken for $4.99, meant I could get four breasts at that price. They said no that it would have to be wings and legs, and I should just know that even though the sign only said chicken, not which pieces. What happened to the customer is always right? I guess they could care less if customers came in their store at all. Next time I will get my chicken at Albertsons, it taste better there anyways. read more

This store is full of employees who think they are doing you a favor by letting you shop there. There are a few employees are very helpful and friendly but the majority of them act like.. well Union employees "I am doing you a favor" attitude. That attitude even spilled out of the front door over the past weekend to the girl scouts selling cookies! With a much more service-oriented Safeway just up the street, I won't be going to this QFC very much. read more

Besides the overpriced foods, produce, and hard to locate anything, trendy, new atmosphere. You can come to this store any time to get outdated, unfriendly service, or none at all. I had to actually call the store from my I-Phone from within the store, after waiting in line 15 minutes, I had to request a cashier to come out of hiding to the front. Another time, I had to tip the cashier because they gave me insufficient change back and could not reopen the drawer. Once more, at another time I wanted to purchase a coffee at the new trendy coffee stand and was refused service (not because I looked funny), but because they were inadequately staffed and the Barista had already been there for over 14 hours and just couldn't make another Latte. I won't get into the free cheese samples that are unnaturally slimy and wet, even after sitting out for the Baristas entire work shift they should have been dried up instead. However, you can come to this store and get your free 20% off at Goodwill coupons (printed on the back of all their receipts). You can get them out of the garbage can located next to the self check out. The can is filled with everyones receipts that they don't want or don't need. Be prewarned, though, that you will likely have a blonde woman with major 80's hair standing across from you with her arms crossed continually giving you a disgusting look. Looking at you like you are a lower life form, as you are collecting these receipts. Then she will snicker and tell you that she can not have you going through the garbage, because she doesn't know what is in there and you may get hurt. Well personally, if I didn't know what was in there, I wouldn't be grabbing what I wanted and I've never been hurt by a dirty kleenex or piece of chewed gum. Well, except for once when I stepped on and was cemented by a discarded piece to their parking lot, and then run over by a speeding grocery cart, but that is totally another story:) After made to feel like I was treated like a vagabond and that I never spent my hard earned money in the QFC before. I walked over to the "Paper Recycle Bin" to collect them instead, because it seemed safer, as I never have been hurt by a paper cut before, and I thought that, hygenically speaking, I probably was less likely to get hurt. But of course, no one threw their paper receipts in there! I was saddened to see that the bin was overflowing onto the floor of nonrecylable straws, plastic bags and half eaten food remnants from the Trendy Patrons that live at the coffee bar. I was so discouraged, but I did get lucky on my way out and collected a few receipts that were crumpled and discarded randomly onto the floor, but instead of putting them in the properly labeled recycle bin, I put them into my pocket and went shopping. Got 20% off a really cool leather jacket that was marked $59.00 at GW. It totally will go with chemically processed, bleached out, poofy, overly sprayed 80's hair! Get bent QFC! Safeway doesn't mind if you collect their receipts. They have a gas station, coffee, and affordable food prices too! Plus they are equal distant for most your customers. Though QFC is neighbors with the Dollar Store and Goodwill. I love digging through other people discarded goods to get a great deal, don't you like your neighbors? read more
