Came here for a massage. This place is close to my work so I thought I would try it. It was my first massage ever and it went ok. The masseuse was very friendly and she worked on me for a full hour. After the massage I didn't feel my neck pain anymore. My neck pain did come back later in the evening. The massage was $120 for 60 minutes. They serve ginger tea which was very tasty and refreshing. I didn't write this review 9 months ago (choosing instead to write to the management to share my concerns privately), but 9 months later with no response at all from the team at Qi, I'm still upset by my experience and I don't want another plus sized woman to repeat it. So here goes. I am a plus sized woman. Just a fact. Happily, it's pretty rare that I feel that my size impacts the way I'm treated. In fact, the only time in recent memory that I've felt my size impacted how I was treated by someone was with the massage I received at Qi. Now, this is not a statement against everyone that works there. In fact, I had a great massage many years ago (I even asked the team if they could help me track her down, to no response), but I couldn't tell you who it was with. This time however, I selected to have an appointment with Jorg. He specializes in joint, posture & movement issues, and with chronic problems I have stemming from a past broken leg and multiple related surgeries, he seemed like the perfect match. Only, that hope was one way, as I got the distinct impression from the moment he walked in the room that I wasn't his "ideal" client. What followed was a 50 minute massage (in a 60 minute timeslot), zero check-ins about pressure or anything at all, and about the only words he said to me felt like a complete slap in the face. At the end of our time, he told me bluntly that he specializes in *sports* massage, and that the next time I come in? I should book with someone else. Message received loud and clear, Jorg. This place is super close to my work and highly recommend it for your massage therapy or other needs. The facility is beautiful and everyone I've dealt with is very professional. I've been here specifically for massage therapy and have seen Hailey S. Every time I've gone she's thorough and really helps me feel better and provides me with practical tips and stretching to help improve my health and well-being. She's very kind. The facility also uses the Jane app, so it's really easy to book an appointment which I really appreciate. They also do direct billing if you have an eligible benefits provider. read more

Because my work requires me to stare at a computer or stare down on the counter all day, I have had issues with neck and shoulder tension for several years. Additionally, the fact that I have scoliosis and I stand on my feet all day definitely do not help. I decided it was finally time to try finding an RMT that I can see regularly, and Amy was fantastic. Let's start from the beginning. I decided to try this place out after reading its great reviews, and it was super easy to book online and find prices from the booking section. Super appreciated that as soon as you book an appointment, you can fill out your intake form electronically so you don't need to be stressed about getting there in plenty of time to fill out some forms. The clinic is on a street that's only accessible from the east side of the block if you're driving, and parking is a bit limited. They do have a few spaces on the east side of the building that are designated by yellow lines where you can park, and inside you can write down your car info so register it. After I checked in, the receptionist offered me some ginger tea, which was fantastic to help me relax and warm up. Amy was a few minutes late in calling me up, but not a biggie. She definitely gave me my full hour's worth even with the delay. Love that they are respectable with time. Amy guided me up the stairs and into a suite of offices/rooms where each RMT has their own room. She was comprehensive in going through my intake form and even checked how bad my scoliosis was before the massage technically started. She was great at targeting my sore and tense areas and after the hour was up, even suggested a few stretches/exercises that would help considering my concerns. Wow! I moved to Kits and this place turned out to be right in my hood. I've always sought out RMT care due to my job and fitness routine. Since moving to Vancouver I hadn't yet found a practitioner that I was dedicated to. That has all changed after one appointment. First about the facility in general. The decor is chic and inviting. The woman at front desk was friendly and informative. She gave me a quick tour and offered me a beverage. They have a relaxing waiting area with little comfy lounge chairs or you can wait in the front. My appointment was with Marla. The start was late, but she gave me my full appointment time. After briefly letting her know my areas of concern she went to work. I didn't have to say a word. She is an extremely intuitive RMT who found all my trigger spots (and then some). I like to just veg out and concentrate on the massage. She respected that by realizing my breathing had probably gotten a little relaxed. She only spoke when it was time to flip. I appreciate that as I always feel a little awkward for wanting silence, but it's the last space I want to make candid conversation. As much as RMT is for medical results to relieve tension and pain... It's also a little slice of ME time. I will certainly be going back here and requesting Marla specifically. Luckily their online booking system will make this easy. If I could change one thing it would be slightly louder in treatment music. I realize it's not a spa though so I understand why. It's just I don't like hearing my own self breath in the little pillow nook. read more

Shirley at the front desk has the perfect personality for her job - warm, welcoming, and highly professional. Dr. Joanna Rosenfeld (N.D.) has been a great introduction to the world of naturopathy - I have found her to be thoughtful, kind, professional, and mindful of the important balance between Western medicine and the supports that a naturopathic approach can provide. She is a pleasure to talk to and has followed up on our appointments with detailed, personalized advice and reminders following our conversation. I would highly recommend Joanna to anyone looking for a Naturopath. Fatima Hozouri has been a pleasure to work with as my acupuncturist. As a newbie to this practice, I was skeptical as to its benefits, but after 5-6 sessions, I am sure I am seeing results. The experience of acupuncture has been very much improved by Fatima's gentle, knowledgable presence. I know I am in good hands with her. Carol Ann (not sure of her last name) teaches lunch time drop-in yoga sessions that are a breath of fresh air in the middle of a busy work day. The sessions are very affordable and there are often only a handful of people at each session, which allows Carol Ann to deliver very personalized advice to each person in the room. I went for a 60 minute massage with Kate Moore, and she was incredible! First, her demeanour is professional and reassuring, and she is great and getting to know you so she can provide you with a massage that is tailored to your needs. She gives an incredibly powerful massage, and I felt that she was able to relieve some of my shoulder pain in just one visit. She is also very knowledgeable, but not judgemental, and provides helpful tips for keeping your body in good shape between visits. She is all around great. The facility itself is beautiful. The reception area has high vaulted ceilings, and is decorated tastefully. There was wonderful tea available before and after my massage. Best of all, they don't rush you out once you are done; they have a beautiful post-therapy room where you can relax as long as you like. Will definitely be back! read more

I love how they have a very easy to use interface for their online booking appointments. It is very easy to see which spots are available and for which therapist. I come here for massage therapy and have tried a few therapists. I have been going to see Grace a few times and I love how she focuses on the muscles that need work with the perfect amount of pressure to work out my tight legs. The building itself is very welcoming and feels calming as soon as you walk in. They offer their tea or water at the beginning which is great. They let you pay before your appointment so if you're in a rush to leave after you can just leave. They email you the receipt which is perfect instead of always holding onto paper receipts. read more

Brooke Corrado is a fantastic RMT. She is caring, knowledgeable and a great listener. She is open to feedback and really takes the time to understand what is required in a session, tailored to the issues at hand. I really appreciate the level of pressure she applies, I've had difficulty finding an RMT who is able to do deep tissue massage with a firm and healing hand (or two:) I would highly recommend seeing Brooke, she's pretty rad. Also, the space at Qi is quite beautiful, with high ceilings and rich wood paneling. Lemon water, ginger tea and a welcoming front desk staff await you upon arrival. The most unusual feature is the spacious post-treatment room. It's so wonderful to have a peaceful place to stretch out and relax before or after a session. I have been going to Tedi Fisher for acupuncture at Qi and she is simply amazing! I have done a lot of acupuncture in the past, but I see magical results with Tedi. She is so knowledgable about the body and Traditional Chinese medicine, she is caring, gentle, attentive, and explains everything carefully. When I walk out of her office, I am extremely relaxed and whether I see her for back pain, digestive issues of sleeplessness, I always see results. Now that I have experienced her work, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Qi is a great center, with a welcoming and healing environment. The staff is excellent and really helpful. I love Qi. I have been going here for years and the staff have always been hospitable, friendly and helpful. They have a beautiful facility that includes a beautiful post treatment lounge where you can lay down to relax before and after your appointment. The practitioners talk to eachother so your treatment is truly integrated (which means less explaining at the beginning of a treatment and more hands on work). My favourite practitioners to visit are Dr. Berry, Dr. Foot, Sean Lymworth, Brad Watt and Rhonda Cooper. It is super easy to book treatments online and the staff are great about answering the phone and fitting you in for an appointment last minute if there are open appointments. I visited the physio Brooke and she was really knowledgeable, her treatment made it so I could walk without pain for the first time in several weeks in the first treatment. I also saw the RMT Colleen and had an amazing massage that left me feeling much more relaxed! The receptionist at front Shirley was super friendly and got me tea and invited me to lounge in the super relaxing pre/post treatment room before I had treatments and the atmosphere of the clinic was very clean, bright and relaxing. read more

If you suffer from sport related injuries (10+ years) and/or sciatic (2 yrs) I highly recommend seeing Kiem. Last year I spent over $ 2000 on massage/chiropractors and even though those treatment helped, it was temporary. Before his treatment, I wasn't able to sit down for work and I spent 90% of the day using my stand up desk. After my 2nd treatment I felt 100% better and now I no longer feel like my quads are going to snap/break due to on-going tightness. I can go see an entire movie at the theatre and not find a place to stand for the majority of the show!! Kiem recommended twice a week for the first 2-3 weeks and it has been the best money I've spent on health care in many years!! Initially I was skeptical as I've seen 3 different Acupuncturist over the years. Kien has been beyond exceptional... he sat down, listened to my problems, prioritized what hurt most and aggressively fixed all my nagging injuries - neck, lower back, butt, legs, both elbows, both ankles and shoulder. All those football, baseball and hockey injuries are almost gone. Now I can continue playing hockey and in another few weeks I plan to go back to boot camp!! If you love sports as much as I do, go see Kiem as he'll keep you going as a weekend warrior instead of watching sports on TV. I had spent the past 7 years going from 1 walk in clinic to another ~ around my home in East Vancouver- getting a MD that's still taking patients is a tough task in this city!? Being perimenopausal, and having a few other bothersome, but not life threatending conditions, rotating doctos at all the walk in clinics really wore on my physical, and mental health. I got a list of MD's still accepting patients but could not find one suitable, nor wanting to take me on as a patient. I learned there was a doctor at Qi Integrated health who was both an MD, and a naturopathic physician! She had a private (patient paid) practice, and was accepting new patients- lucky day! I am a holistic person that does NOT like, nor want prescription drugs, and I have had battles with previous doctors over my reluctance to take an arm full of presciptions home with me after every doctor visit. I booked a consultation with Dr.Hyndman and was blown away by Qi's interior, ambience, facilities and their staff. This space is amazing, with a beautiful entrance with tea offerings, supplements for sale, and a gorgeous waiting 'lounge' with deck chairs for stretching out in- nature sounds piped in on the elaborate sound system. Dr. Hyndman is a compassionate, highly perceptive, and an incredible physician who offers both naturopathic and mainstream medical treatments to your issues. I'm ever so grateful for having found Dr.Hyndman, and Qi Integrated Health. Qi has an amazing roster of well rounded health professionals from massage therapy to medical doctors- something for everyone. I've seen Stephanie Witty a few times and she has been able to fix things that no other massage therapist has. After years of chronic neck/shoulder/upper back pain I finally know what it's like to have relaxed upper body muscles! She fixed my longstanding issues and gave me really great advice for maintenance, which has helped to keep things from getting bad again. I've been going to Qi Integrated for a few years now. Kiem Schutter is great...so is the rest of is team. I was a ballet dancer for 13 years and now 1o years later I'm struggling with some hip issues. It started with sciatic pain and them moved to the centre of my hip. The pain was so strong it was waking me up in the middle of the night. Kiem was amazing! He got the pain under control in one appointment. I go once in a while for a quick tune up....especially at every change of season. I highly recommend these guys! They are the best! And their new location also has a yoga lounge!!! So awesome! I love coming to Qi! I have suffered from chronic pain in my back, calves and shoulders due to a car accident four years ago and continuing to pursue an active lifestyle filled with long distance runs and circuit training. I would highly recommend seeing Grace Wu for a massage. Every time I leave I feel great for weeks which has never been the case while receiving massage therapy before seeing her. She gets into places that I didn't even know were possible (abs, shoulders, hip flexors) and I've experienced great pain relief immediately after seeing her. I wish I could see her every week for a massage. For chiropractic, I highly recommend going to see Chelsea Berry. She is knowledgeable, empathetic and highly skilled in relieving pain and discomfort. The facilities at Qi are beautiful. The receptionists are always extremely friendly offering you ginger tea or apple cider in the winter upon arrival, there is a relaxation room and everything feels very clean and sterile yet warm and welcoming. read more

He is so warm and understanding, and really took the time to assess my needs so he could tailor the treatment to help me feel amazing. And the treatment itself: incredible. He did a combination of techniques to address my concerns, and some of them really toed the line in terms of pressure (which as a RMT I need and appreciate!) then followed it up with the most relaxing hot stone treatment I've ever had. I decided to use up the rest of my benefits before the end of the year and have been to a bunch of different massage therapists, but decided to try this one as it was close to work and home. The RMT was super chatty. Which was ok until he started making judgmental remarks about the place I worked and a place I practice yoga (which I never divulged to him as I was already feeling awkward after his comments towards these places). It felt like the usual sport massage. Really worked the muscles, and I had had a massage a month before, so it wasn't like my body had forgotten what that was like. The next morning I couldn't move my neck at all. There was a sharp pain shooting down my neck into my shoulder blade every time I tried to turn my head or rotate it in any direction. I emailed the receptionist at Qi and I got a quick follow up phone call where I was asked to come back in to figure out what they could do for me. I came back the next morning thinking I was going to get another massage to fix whatever it was that happened. Instead, I got acupuncture. And I was charged for the appointment which was in excess of the amount of acupuncture I was allowed to get for the year under my benefits, which meant I now had to pay extra $$ out of pocket for an appointment that I needed because of what the initial massage treatment had caused. On top of that, I did not feel any difference (nor was I asked if there was any difference) in terms of pain levels. What added to my frustration was that I had already scheduled an appointment for my own acupuncturist/naturopath for the same day. He checked me out anyway, and turns out that my neck was out of line and was pinching the nerve causing all that pain. I got an adjustment and the pain started subsiding. I have extensive experience with injuries and treatment therapies - and I will never go back to Qi again. Even prior to waking up with the pain, I was already put off with the level of professionalism the RMT presented me with, and I can take a joke... read more

I had been suffering from back pain for over 5 years and was going from one chiropractor to another looking for relief. After seeing Dr. Chelsea Berry, I had to write a review as it was very refreshing to have someone do such an extensive review and diagnosis and use many different treatment techniques. She's very caring, knowledgeable and really takes the time to explain what the issue is and will give much great advice. Just enjoyed a fabulous massage by Bodhi. Came in with acute lower back pain and chronic neck tension and walked out feeling much more mobile and pain-reduced. Big strong hands got deep into those knots for great relief. The facilities are beautiful. The treatment rooms are away from the street so very quiet. There's a super chill relaxation room to hang afterwards. Tea and water are easily accessible. Lots of practioners so was able to get a same-day appointment which is very useful if you need last-minute treatment (comes in handy when you get unpredictable flare ups like me). My husband and I always ask each other the following question after a massage: "Did the therapist OWN it?" And I can confidently say, "Yes, Bodhi owned it!" Will definitely be back soon. read more

I see Grace once a month for a massage for a shoulder injury I have. She is attentive, listens to my input and I feel really tailors her approach to my needs. She starts each session by sitting me down and asking me about progress and what I'd like to focus on that day. Every time I walk out of there I feel like I'm floating on a cloud.
