Really solid gym overall. The space is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with good equipment and a layout that makes it easy to get a full workout in. Even during peak hours, I'm usually able to move through my routine without too much waiting, which is a big plus. The atmosphere is also great -- most of the people I've met here have been friendly and respectful, and everyone's been cool about letting me work in when they're using equipment I need. It makes the gym feel welcoming instead of intimidating. The only downside is the parking situation. Having to park off-site at the Whole Foods garage isn't ideal. While validation helps, the garage itself is tight, crowded, and pretty chaotic with cars and pedestrians constantly moving around. The walk across the street to the gym can also be unpleasant when it's cold or raining. Overall though, great gym, great equipment, and a friendly staff -- definitely recommend if you're looking for a quality workout space in the Gulch. read more

I updated my payment info as requested in March when QNTM switched systems. Despite that, they failed to bill me for two months -- then suddenly pulled three months' worth of fees at once in June, without notice or permission. I had no access to the gym during that time, as the app they instructed me to use showed my membership as cancelled, and I wasn't told about a new app or system to manage my membership that they now claim exists but refuse to share the details of. The team ignored multiple attempts to reach out. Weeks later, I was promised a partial refund that never arrived -- and now they claim only one person can help, and he's "out of office." No one else will assist. I'm now filing a dispute with my bank and reporting them to consumer protection agencies. Avoid this gym at all costs. read more

Most of the time when I travel for work, I look for a location to get a good workout in while I am in town. I called a few gyms when I arrived in Nashville and QNTM was the first one that advised that they do sell 1 or 2 day as well as weeklong passes. I decided to give them a try and was not disappointed. It's a facility that has whatever you're looking for in the way of working out. They have a pretty good free weight section as well as all of the machines anyone might look for in a gym. They also have several different areas for classes, etc. When I'm back in Nashville, I will be working out there again. read more

I bought a week pass in vacation for $60. This is a nice gym with lots of equipment and the fact that it's 24hrs works great because you can get in and out outside of rush hour. It definitely gets crowded between 6a-9a which is when I went. Some of the equipment could use some new vinyl and they need some more cleaning staff but overall a nice experience. read more

I see a lot of people having negative experiences due to Covid billing and management here BUT I had a great experience as a VISITOR. I got the day pass - which BTW is 24 hrs so because I went at 2pm my first day, I was able to come back the next morning for free! Never seen that before but $20 for two sessions? Hell yes! Anyway, a bodybuilders gym for sure! If you're intimidated by heavy lifters and/or lots of women in scantily workout outfits, maybe not for you but I'm down with it. LOTS of equipment variety and availability. I went midday and it was spacious. I went Saturday morning at 8am and by the time I left after 9am it was pretty busy. I think you would def want to avoid "peak" hours. But there's some really cool machines! Unique things, I'll post pics of what I tried the second day. They've also got supplements for sale at cheaper than online so I snagged some RAW Nutrition. Stoked not to pay shipping and save 5 bucks. Would love to be a member but just visiting! read more

The management is very rude and unhelpful. I asked to pause my account indefinitely given that I was traveling for an extended period of time. Then, I received a charge on the first of the month in Feb for $120. I explained that I actually got a new job and was moving and wouldn't be in the same state anymore, which is why I asked for the pause on my account. They said they cannot help -- I then asked to cancel and get a refund and they said no. I called and emailed several times and they are currently ignoring all of my messages. As someone that had a VIP membership for many months, it is gross that they would treat their members this way. Neither Bobby nor the membership team will respond to my emails anymore -- this is going on 3-4 weeks now. Go to Carbon in the Nations or even the Y instead. read more

Very surprised with the negative ratings I saw before trying this gym. Lots of quality equipment, clean, and wasn't that busy on days that I went to the gym. Like any gym, there are going to be busy hours and off hours. If going at a busy time expect to have some adjustments to your "routine." *This review is for an out-of-town drop-in, not a regular membership.* I really enjoyed my one day drop-in to QNTM Fit Life in Downtown Nashville. Everything about my workout session was great, and I loved all the equipment this gym has. The check-in was easy-peasy, and while some might consider $20 to be a lot for a drop-in, it's really not that much when you consider the amount of equipment you get access to, and the 24 hour validity (so you could technically come two days in a row if you time it right). I love the equipment selection here. Not only is everything brand new and in tip-top shape, but if you can't find what you are looking for, they might not make it. For cardio, they have all the standard elliptical and treadmill options, but they also have a good selection of peloton-style spin bikes, Rogue Echo bikes (a lot like an Airdyne or Assault bike), rowers, and other various cardio options. For strength, they have an entire wall of squat racks with bumper plates and everything else you need to powerlift or oly lift. They have kettlebells, a GHD, and various other types of "Crossfit friendly" equipment. They also have a large selection of regular gym machines and dumbells. To round it out, they have a lot of mobility tools, like foam rollers, bands, and stretching aids. The locker rooms are clean and have nice showers. Wifi is fast and free. I would definitely come back the next time I am in Nashville! One side note: this gym definitely appeals to a younger, fitter crowd, and pretty much everyone here looks like they are "dressing to impress" (at least as much as you can for a workout). While everyone was super nice and welcoming, if you are easily intimidated by that sort of thing, this might not be your gym. read more

I am moving to Nashville and went online to sign up for the trial. An hour later when the rep called me I explained my situation that I am here to look for housing and a club to train out of. He invited me in for a tour and workout and I asked about my Canadian ID, not having a Nashville address yet and even leaving my carry on at a desk. He let me know he would leave notes for the club and that it would be okay. Upon entering a gentleman said "what's your name" almost immediately at the door instead of hello etc. I believe he was a trainer. Attempting to start my tour I was told that the information I was given was wrong pretty abruptly by what looks like the manager. She didn't seem to want to do the tour and was pretty dismissive. I explained the previous conversation and she didn't really care at all even though this all happened today and I ubered to the left. I left shortly after. On a positive note, the women working the front desk today was warm, kind and apologetic. She was really stepping up for the lack of leadership and customer service. Not a great first impression. This has to be the absolute worst gym around. The parking is unbelievably bad (you pay for the parking after an already ridiculous sign up cost). Good luck waiting 20 minutes to park. The equiptment is beyond poor. There are zero name brand racks or machines. All of the equiptment is heavily worn down and occasionally broken. The floor in the basement is uneven and your weights will even roll away from you. I've witnessed members slide off their benches while bench pressing because they are wobbling. Have fun hunting down equiptment because it's never returned to the same spot. The overall cleanliness of the gym is awful. The locker rooms and bathrooms are a wreck. The same goes for the sauna. They've also has sexual misconduct from their staff towards gym members. You are better off going to the YMCA. Avoid this gym! read more

I now see the reason for the bad reviews. Communication with members is atrocious. We are leaving for vacation and told the person that signed us up for membership in advanced about our plans. We were told to simply let them know ahead of time. I then called the front staff about a week ago and was told to do it online. I did but apparently missed the deadline which no one said anything about by 2 days. Note that had the person said, the deadline is in 3 days, I would have made the deadline. I would have kept the membership had the person that handled my request communicated better. Instead, he/she was rude and abrupt. They didn't even provide their name. Got a day pass while visiting Nashville on a business trip! By far the best option in Nashville! I got a 24 hour pass so I actually came back the next morning and got 2 workouts for one day pass! Bobby at the front desk was really cool and showed me around the gym. The lady at the desk by the snacks was also very welcoming and helpful as well. The black lady who I assumed was the manager was not as nice and had a little attitude but that's ok. The gym was awesome and had a lot of great machines! My boyfriend and I are in town for the week, and had noticed QNTM offers guest passes for visitors in the area. One is a 24hr pass ($20/pp) one is a week long pass ($50/pp). We're planning to move to the area in the next couple of months. We had never been to the gym so we went by the gym on 4th to check the place out and purchase passes for the week. We got checked in and were asked to pay the pass fee, but of course we asked to see the facility first (like I said we have never visited and know little about the gym). It was explained to us that we would have to first pay the pass fee before we could be shown the facility. We were quite stumped, so I asked for clarification, "You want us to give you money to use a gym before we've even seen the facility or what you offer"? The front desk agent confirmed that was the case. I have to say, we were completely floored! In all of our years of visiting/memberships at gyms it's never been expected that a gym would collect money before allowing the guest to see the facility, the equipment, the services, etc. I don't know if it's their attempt to be exclusive, or the agent just didn't feel like either showing or allowing us to see the gym, or just blatantly bad business practices in general. Do they have so many members that they no longer need to grow their business? I say this because from what we saw from the front door led us to think/hope the gym had more to offer. read more

This is a bad gym all around. It is not surprising they had to close the downtown QTMN Nashville gym. The parking is terrible. You pay for parking but will have to wait 15-30 minutes to get a spot. The gym is overcrowded and you will be waiting to use the machines. The equipment is heavily worn down and occasionally broken. The overall cleanliness of the gym is awful. The locker rooms and bathrooms are disgusting. The same goes for the sauna. They will charge you another month when you cancel your membership. Please avoid this GYM at all cost. I literally have never had someone be so combative in communicating with a member as I had with Vida, the GM. I joined July 31 of this year mainly bc it was a gym that was going to be open 24/7 and my gym at my apartment had been closed due to COVID. I purchased the All Access membership which in total cost me $174.99 and somehow this was waving the startup fee? I had to have an emergency surgery on August 3 that set me back with restrictions for two and a half weeks. I emailed the management email address which takes forever to get a response so I called and spoke with Vida. She talks extremely fast and over you. She is extremely aggressive and didn't give me a chance to speak at all until I stopped her and made her listen. I was also assaulted by a homeless man (while on a run) on August 21 and had multiple injuries (multiple stab wounds including stitches, head trauma, etc). I called to explain to Vida and I didn't ask to cancel my membership but simply to have them FREEZE it until I was able to access what I had paid for. She then told me that she would prorate the month and refund me $50.00!!!!!!! Also, that never happened as she told me to check my account. I would expect a gym to be more of a support system and a place of motivation, not a place that inflicts you with more anxiety, especially when a person has just suffered a tragic experience as I had the entire month of August. The GM, Carolyn Grasse returned my email and wasn't very empathetic either. I guess they lack emotions and support and empathy for their guests/clientele at QNTM..... I am still waiting for her response on whether they intend to refund my $174.99 that I never had a chance to utilize once this month. I was then told by Carolyn Grasse that maybe QNTM wasn't a good fit for me and that she would be cancelling my membership! I was and am in total shock of this organization and how they have zero empathy in regards to their clients. I notified her that after my conversation with Vida, I had already cancelled and would never want to be a part of this gym. Per the valet, this was THE spot to go workout. We felt differently. Can't believe there's not a darn LA Fitness in this town, but we were desperate. This gym was close to our hotel, and that was the only perk. It was $20 per day per guest, but that allowed for 24 hours so we were able to use it twice, however the gym wasn't all that. First of all, you gotta get a parking pass for the lot, and that was a big pain in the butt. Secondly, the staff was not friendly and seemed to think their gym was the &*^%! and it was far from it. The main equipment is located downstairs where you feel like you're stuck in a dungeon. They have towels and spray located in different spots, but it's the same towels, so I hardly find that sanitary to be using an already sweaty dirty towel to wipe off your equipment yet they are diehard on making sure you're wearing a mask. The lighting isn't good, the equipment wasn't in prime condition and I hated the way they have their benches. For a spotter, you're situated so high it makes it harder to plant and effectively help someone bench. I am so thankful we don't live here and this isn't our only option, because I was completely turned off by the staff and the gym facilities. If you read the reviews, you see way more negatives than positives and now I see why. read more

I got a day pass to this gym while I was in Nashville visiting Vanderbilt and the first thing I need to say is that this is a serious bodybuilding gym. If you're just looking for a treadmill or some yoga you're better off going somewhere else. If you've been going to the gym for a while and you want somewhere where you can be surrounded by others who also love the gym, this is the place for you. All of the machines here are awesome. You can tell that they specifically chose each machine from the best company they could. They have Precor smith machines because Precor makes the best smith machines. They have a Rogue leg press because Rogue makes the best leg press. Nautilus Plate loaded press machines because Nautilus makes the best of those. You get the idea. The only things they didn't have that I noticed was a hack squat or a pendulum squat. Everything else was perfect and usually there's two of every machine. Plenty of squat racks and benches as well. This is a 24/7 gym and their day passes ($24) are for 24 hours so I was actually able to work out twice on one pass. The people at the front desk were really nice, as was everyone that I saw working out. The only real downside that I see to this gym is that it's pretty busy. I hit legs at 6pm on a Monday and the place was absolutely packed. The next day I did chest at around Noon and there were still lots of people. It's not so bad that you can't get a good lift, but you'll definitely be waiting for equipment if you go during peak hours. Overall, great gym if you're into bodybuilding. If you're looking for something more casual then this most likely isn't the place for you. read more

The way they have handled Covid-19 is extremely telling of this business. QTNM overcharges for gym membership as it is. They may have good equipment, however, it doesn't outweigh the way they treat members. It is not worth it to get locked into paying the amount they charge and the struggles in dealing with their shady customer service. I was given completely inaccurate information. Offered a 3-month freeze only for it to be frozen for a month and charges to resume. They purposely take longer than advertised to reply to emails. They word things in their favor to effectively swindle you if you're not careful. There is no way this gym is struggling during this time, they have been banking all the exorbitant membership fees while every other gym in Nashville has shown empathy during this time. It makes me sick to know that other people are having the same experience as I am. I contacted QNTM because my account was charged for April - for a service I am not receiving. I was met with a very smug response immediately, and now 15 emails have been exchanged. I asked to freeze my account and they said, "Our normal Courtesy Freeze Program is not in effect during this time because of COVID-19." So, they can suspend their normal rules, but the members cannot. Right. No other gym in Nashville is continuing to charge their members during Covid. And even if they were, I know they wouldn't demand a DOCTOR'S NOTE to freeze your account - is this elementary school? The contract states if they cannot operate then they must provide you with an alternate location within 25 miles of the facility. When you address this, they simply say well we can get around that by offering you some workout videos on our social media outlets. LOL. So, you are paying almost $100 a month for videos anyone can get for free. I received a letter in the mail today stating I owe for April and May. I've asked them to call me on several occasions. I've been a member of this gym since it was World Gym. I lost all of my income a month ago due to COVID and therefore was going to be late with my payment. I explained all of this and they said they couldn't cancel my membership until I paid - so I'm still stuck in a contract I can't afford. So it's just going to keep doubling up? Yikes. Super disappointed with how QNTM handled their billing during COVID. I was charged monthly while the gym was closed, including a yearly fee. I didn't realize that their partnership with an app was supposed to make up for the closure of their facility. I understand everyone's had a rough go of it during this pandemic, but trying to nickel and dime your members isn't a good look, especially with a lot of us being longtime members and paying thousands into the gym. It seems a lot of people had this issue. Use of the facility was nice while it lasted, but ultimately I value customer service over aesthetics. There's plenty of other gyms in town who haven't taken advantage of their members, and I intend to give them my business from now on. read more
