I had a private room with deep wooden tub to soak in for 25 minutes. They provided a cold face cloth, ice lemon water and hot tea to sip on. The rep knocked on my door to alert me to get ready for the salt cave. I took a quick shower to rinse off (towels provided) and got dressed. I put on slippers (they provide) and grabbed a blanket and headed into the healing salt cave that was 65 degrees. I relaxed in the zero gravity chair/recliner, wrapped in the blanket, listened to relaxing music and the sound of water. What a great experience this was. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back here.

When I saw that a new waxing salon was opening on Richmond Row, I decided to make a change. I wanted someone who specialized in waxing and could achieve the look I was going for. Right away I was impressed by their online booking system. You can go on the website and choose a service and then select the time you want. As a child of the internet, I would much rather book online than use a phone and I'm sure anyone can appreciate the discreetness when booking an appointment for something a bit more personal. The salon is fresh and clean with a few products to purchase. The women working at this salon are always very friendly, never fake. On my first visit, I was taken back to the waxing room within a few short minutes. I was given a background on the products they use and how the high quality leaves you less red and is a more comfortable experience. As someone with fair skin, I was happy with that! Their claims were true. While I was still a bit pink in the end, I was not as red as I normally get. In the couple times i have been to Smooth, they have switched to a wax that doesn't require the strips. I felt it was much less pain overall with the same result in the end, beautiful brows. These girls know what they are doing. Never again will I risk getting my brows done at a regular salon. Too many times I would leave with extremely skinny brows or bruised eyes (ouch!). For those who want a bit more grooming and choose the waxing way of life, Smooth has many options for memberships from brows to bikini's. When I first walked in, the receptionist was there and was talking to someone else and failed to say anything to me. Being new, I didn't know if i was suppose to check in or not or what to do. But after standing there and still being ignored. I finally asked and was told sit down. The waxer came out and just asked if it was me, and just walked off assuming I knew to follow her. Didn't say a word to me the entire time. Didn't ask how I liked my brows or anything. She did an ok job cleaning up my stray hairs and getting the job done.
