That's why I almost always schedule a foray to Green Valley Books when I visit my Mom in Green Valley. The store is nook-tiny and mostly crammed with used books. But my personal sweet spot is a corner of handpicked classics and new releases. I am not exaggerating when I say I could spend HOURS in this section alone. Mom picks out most birthday Christmas presents on the advice of the owner. A recent pick -- "Mudbound" -- stays in my mind. There is always a selection of bargain books out front and the store does justice to kids books and local authors. All in all, a keeper.

However, I am giving only 3 stars because he gave an appraisal without actually having found another copy like the one I have, an edition that seems to be a bit rare. I would have liked if he had found the exact same edition that I have before providing an appraisal. I don't know how he could offer an appraisal if he had no other examples on which to base it.

The hosts allowed us to check-in in the morning and we got in much needed sleep. From there, the hosts recommended several good spots in the area to explore, which we did! The accommodations were as expected, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast nook had everything we needed for simple meals, coffee, etc. This was a pleasant experience and we would stay again.
