The permanent residents are locals that are great friendly folks. The owners were very nice & let us just pick a spot & then they stayed in their own lane. Will definitely stay again.

The RV sites have adequate space, there was a nice picnic table but no fire ring; there are a couple of community fire pits. The hot spring soaking tubs are adequate but nothing unique. Copperfield campground has been our spot for many years. We have noticed over the last few years…read moreand just during out recent stay, that large groups come and they are very loud and the kids run all over. There were groups of kids running and yelling through our camp spot. About 20 adults gathered by a campfire near us and about 10 kids ran wild, yelling and etc. They took over the area and had no respect for other campers. The evening before this happened a group of about 30 rafters came in and surrounded us and were loud. It seems like the big groups have taken over and they do not respect others. Copperfield is no longer the peaceful place that you can just sit in your campspot and enjoy visiting or walking around. Getting hit by kids on scooters and etc is a worry. There is a sign that says no scooters on the walk up to the restroom but kids use this to ride their bikes, scooters you name it. The host drives by and sees and hears it all but doesn't do anything about it. It says quiet time is at 11 pm, but that's a long time to wait for a little peace and quiet and courtesy from others. Sorry for the bad review, it's just very disappointing.

About 1/2 the park appears to be full timers and everyone we met was friendly. Showers are clean and well lit, as is the laundry ($2.25). Very little road noise. The view is spectacular! Lots of good places to eat just a few minutes away (Sweet Wife bakery and Inland Cafe were both worth returning to). There's a nice big Albertsons grocery and a big Ace Hardware. Great little town!

Lots of pros, quite a few cons! I had called to book two…read morespecific spots and was persuaded to book in one of their quads instead. Horrible idea. No privacy from neighbors, and yards are too small for four separate camping families. I called with those concerns prior to our arrival and wanted to be moved, but was once again reassured and sold on those quads. If you are looking for an upscale, very very quiet, very clean, not a lot of shade in most spots, and a staff that watches your every move, this is the place for you! Just don't be too loud, no hammocks, no fires, no pop up tents in grass, no mats in grass, + several more rules. If you are wanting to spend a nice weekend in your camper and feel like you're somewhat "camping", This is not the place.
