During my most recent visit, this mall had some empty storefronts but was far from dying. In 2026, the anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Examples of clothing stores are American Eagle, Children's Place, Express, H&M, LOFT, and Victoria's Secret. Examples of stores for shoes and accessories are Foot Locker, Journeys, Lids, and Shoe Dept. Service businesses include salons, cell-phone carriers, optometrists, and the National Guard. Restaurants include several national chains such as Auntie Anne's and Cinnabon as well as local restaurants such as ChinaMax and Moon Sushi. The parking lot has a sufficient number of spaces for vehicles, even on the busier weekends, and the interior of the mall looks safe and clean.

The reason I cannot give this shopping center a 5 star review is that there are often SO many panhandlers that seem to get away with begging for cash in parking lots and in between the Panda Express and Wendy's where the traffic light is located. The panhandlers work in shifts as part of a group of usually young men but sometimes women too. They often have big dogs or pit bulls with them. This turns me off of shopping here. It makes me feel unsafe. Gumberg Associates owns this property so I will try reaching out to them and the Cranberry Township Police are aware as well and have asked that anyone who sees this activity call 911 and contact them to report it.

Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. It is always a mad house and a dash to find parking spaces. And you feel like you are putting your life at risk if you try to cross the parking lot on foot. It has gotten a little better since the opened the space between McDonalds and the plaza (easier access to the traffic signals to get to 22). But it is hard to get into and out of, especially if you need to make a left.

The mall was clean and maintained, and a Christmas train was set up for children. My husband made an analogy and said that the mall reminded him of an old person who was dying but was in a nursing home that took great care of them (!). I needed to use the women's restroom, and an employee kindly told me its location. The restroom was located past the food court, which contained only some restaurants. The restroom looked old but was fairly clean and worked. During this shopping trip, I shopped in the Boscov's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Shoe Dept. Encore. I most liked the Boscov's.

The interior is very pretty for a mall, and there are cute gathering areas in front of two anchor stores. Many storefronts in the interior of the mall are vacant, and finding a reason to come shop is difficult. The mall is owned by Namdar Realty Group, a known slum lord. Unfortunately, the anchors contribute to the issues. The former Macy's is used by U-Haul for self-storage with part being offered for redevelopment. Rural King does not open into the mall. JCPenney is in the process of closing, which is sad as it's a nicer store for this chain. Boscov's will be the only anchor with access from in the mall once JCPenney's closes. Dick's remains as a junior anchor. The food court is still decent and includes Chick-Fil-A and China Max, along with others. It's a shame a mall this nice looking is in this condition, with empty storefronts everywhere. The future of this mall is uncertain at best.

All the way at the other end of the mall from where we parked. For a Sunday, when we stopped, this mall was kind of dead too. But no one really shops on a Sunday much. The stores sell accessories, clothing, footwear, electronics, furniture, craft supplies, home decor, home-improvement products, pet supplies, video games, chocolates, etcetera. The stores are definitely not upscale (e.g., Best Buy, Cabela's, JCPenney, Kohl's, Menards, Old Navy, Target, and Walmart), but they sell what local people need. The restaurants serve cuisines such as burgers, fried chicken, pizzas, Mexican foods, Japanese foods, steaks, ice creams, etcetera. Most restaurants are chains (e.g., Bob Evans, Eat 'n Park, Fusion Steakhouse, Jimmy John's, Primanti Bros., and Texas Roadhouse), and all have a casual atmosphere. Service businesses provide healthcare, nail and hair styling, cell-phone plans, banking, etcetera. Entertainment includes a movie theater, simulated golf, and a sports complex. Over the past several years, I have visited this shopping center multiple times.
