Last summer/fall a lot of issues started with my youngest at the other Center and it was having a negative effect on her in multiple ways. We pulled her out and decided to return to Kindercare Elkridge and are so glad we did. Since the shutdown, management changed again and improved. Ms Christina was one of my oldests infant teachers so we already knew she cared about the kids and really knew her stuff. Ms Amanda is the new director and we love how she'd rather build the center back up slowly, even if it means keeping a few classrooms closed until she can find quality teachers, rather than rush to fill rooms with warm bodies. They're really trying to restore kindercare to its previous glory. And the 2s teachers Ms Heather and Ms Chelsea are fantastic. The issues my 2 yo was having at the other center have improved significantly and these teachers have really partnered with us to help her. But it's also clear they see and care about her as an individual. We couldn't ask for better teachers who understand this tough age and love and care about the kids like their own. She receives quality instruction in a nurturing environment and has even been branching out and trying new foods thanks to their provided lunches! For a little more money than we were paying at our previous center (where only snacks were provided and most were just processed carbs), now she gets breakfast, lunch and snack provided, with a lot of variety and they actually cook stuff on site. We're so glad we returned. It felt like coming back home.

In particular, the director, Kaela, has been responsive, approachable, and genuinely invested in building strong relationships with families. She has taken the time to listen to concerns, make herself available when needed, and even helped establish a parent partnership group (similar to a PTO), which has been a meaningful way for families to stay engaged and connected. Like any organization, occasional issues may arise, but in our experience, the leadership team has handled matters professionally and with care. Some concerns (such as those related to voucher programs) may be tied to broader administrative systems rather than the on-site leadership. I have great relationships with many family members, and have never had issues making my payments, via the Daycare Family Works app. We can tell that Kaela and the leadership team prioritize and value family partnerships: this is why they have connected parents together through family days, created summer camps, spirit weeks, and a parent partnership group. I plan to be a part of the Primeron family until my child ages out! Overall, we feel supported, valued, and confident in the care our child receives. We appreciate the dedication of the staff and leadership team and are grateful to be part of this community.

While the Primeron can reply to my review saying they've "strengthened and improved their communication" it is apparent from hearing from other families they haven't. Responses to Yelp reviews are purely for their image as admin at the Primeron does not respond nearly as fast or as professional to attending families.

The sad part is when a person have to work they have to deal with the consequences of dealing with terrible daycare facilities. First off the cook at this establishment is very nasty and unclean. His clothes are very dirty and smells bad and he walks around touching food and doorknobs with his bare hands. A typical breakfast there would be a single cup of yogurt, or a blue berry muffin, or simply just a plain waffle. They don't feed the kids a real breakfast and it's high in sugar. My child was brought food and on his last day there they remembered he couldn't eat their food but didn't get him his snack until 20 mins after giving the other kids gold fish. It was heart breaking watching my child cryin to the adults for food and attempting to grab the kids goldfish. Not to mention one of the staff members stood next to them on his phone the whole time. I told them and even provided a doctors note that my child isn't allowed to have milk but they actually poured him milk on serval occasions after being reminded and he was even able to get other kids cup of milk. They say they do family style dining but they don't sit with them while they eat so if your child has a deadly allergy to any food do not and I repeat DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!

Suzanne, the director is a warm and caring leader and these characteristics are passed down to the staff. My son has always felt at home at this center. When we moved and he started Kindergarten, instead of attending summer camp at his new school and closer to our new home, he asked to go back to Kindercare in Hanover for summer camp. The summer program was filled with activities and numerous field trips to keep the children engaged and ensure a fun filled summer! Although the center did experience a period of staff transition, the director worked diligently to ensure minimal impact to the children. This was not something the staff/director could control so it would be unfair to hold them responsible. The leadership at the center will listen to any concerns shared, and will get to know your child and ensure their needs are met. They supported us in throwing two amazing birthday parties for our son at the center. Years later he still speaks fondly about these great experiences. He was also able to make great friends while he attended Kindercare in Hanover. Due to a military move, we had to leave the center, but were very sad to leave. From the first day, we were welcomed by all teachers and staff. Our child struggled with sleeping in this new environment and being away from us. I had 2 children enrolled for the past 2 years and have been blessed to interact with all the staff in the different programs from Nido to Childrens House. They are all absolutely wonderful, especially the Director Caroline and the Assistant Director Liza. Staff go out of their way to assist with difficult transitions and they even show up to birthday parties when invited! I was a sceptic of the Montessori based curriculum but after seeing my kids make huge progress, love learning and teaching us things they learned, and really THRIVE, I am an avid believer.
