I am confident my child will be ready for kindergarten next year because of his time at the Childtime of Hanover. I am not talking about just the academics, but the social as well. He is truly thriving, why being nutritionally fed in a well clean environment. Also, the live stream in the classroom and the constant updates on the mobile app just bring it all home. In summary I am so sad that we had to move away primarily because we lost the opportunity to continue to go here. We were at child time for I believe about 2 years and we would have stayed much longer. They were excellent when it comes to covid and were really great in general with our kids. I truly cannot say enough great things and I felt like it was a partnership than anything else. When we left there were absolutely a lot of tears and it was one of the saddest parts of us leaving Maryland. I would highly encourage anyone to feel very safe and comfortable knowing their children will be taken care of here. read more

We enrolled our son (6 mos) into the infant daycare room this past January. The first day was the hardest-- but they knew that. The teachers really went out or their way to ensure I was comfortable by sending more than the usual amount of photo updates via the Brighhtwell app (which is awesome and sends updates in real-time for feedings, naps, etc.)! We then missed a couple of days one week due to my son being ill and they proactively pro-rated the week, showing genuine care by checking in to see how he was feeling and being understanding of the financial costs of childcare. The director, associate director and all other staff have taken the time to know my son's name and greet him every morning. They pay attention to who is walking through the door which is a huge relief as any concerned parent would feel. Though he is still so young, my son literally smiles and gets excited once he recognizes where we are in the morning. Talking with other parents, they have also enjoyed their experience with Childtime and "couldn't be happier." More than anything, my son has established a secure attachment with his teacher: Ms. Promila. She is an angel of a teacher, is so kind, attentive and loving to the children. We could not have wished for a better teacher for our son. My son will not usually go to anyone willingly (aside from family), but to Ms. Promila does he go! That is a testament to her strong bonds with the kids and a sign of good caretaking. My son was recently enrolled at this Childtime and was in the infant A and infant B rooms. We ended up leaving Childtime b/c we wanted daycare closer to our home, but during my son's time here, my wife and I were very happy with the care he received. His main teachers were Ms. Barbara and Ms. Farhana. We always felt that they tried hard to accommodate our requests and took good care of our baby. The other teachers were also friendly and gave the babies the necessary attention they needed. The director, Ms. Loren, was very caring and you could tell she put all of her effort into making Childtime a great place. The cost per week is on the higher end of daycares, but they do provide some services that other daycares do not, such as cleaning the sheets/bibs and they are open more days of the year than other child care centers too. There are discounts for military families I believe as well. An additional plus is they accept credit card payments online. We would definitely recommend this Childtime to anyone needing a caring place for their baby. read more

We have been using Childtime since our son was three months old! We have been so happy with them! All of the teachers have been wonderful!! They use the Brightwheel app and update us all day with everything our son is doing and they send pictures! The teachers have taught him so much and they take wonderful care of him! My experience with Child Time was wonderful :). Ms. Loren is very flexible with enrollment and almost all teachers that I witnessed were nice and caring. I agree with one commenter about the care takers keep changing but I think it allows the caretakers to have a quality lifestyle which in turns helped in the quality care towards the kids. Who wants to deal with grumpy/angry caretakers who work from 6:30am-6:30pm shift w/o a break? My son was in pre-toddler classroom and main caretakers were available from 7:45am-4:45pm but dropped him off in infant session before the main hours and a few classes merge after the main hours. I couldn't put my child there for so long due to a high rate (a little more than Goddard School), but it's really worth for some parents since it's open for longer hours and fewer closing days. read more

My son has been at CT hanover since he was 6 mos old. We are sad to leave. The teachers in the baby room were so great, ms Taylor & mrs Amanda when he was a toddler, mrs keneshia always with a smile on her face, mrs kim, adventurous Mr James - and many I'm missing. Parents please do your research before placing your child in this daycare. Please take heed to this review - I waited sometime before writing because I didn't want to write out of anger. I just want to make you aware. My granddaughter was enrolled in this Childtime from April to July 2012 in the toddler daycare she started at 16 months. We left the daycare in July because of the lack of leadership (Ms.Loren). In the toddler daycare the providers rotate in the morning and afternoon - meaning there is always a new face for your child to get use too. The staff that rotated in the afternoon were rude, very inexperienced, and insensitive to the children. One of the staff we dealt with was Ms. Monique. We were shocked with the unprofessionalism and behavior of the staff and the reaction of the leadership. We discussed the behavior of the staff with Loren and she seem to support the attitudes or either she was afraid to deal with the staff ( we just couldn't understand it). As parents your most precious possession is being left in the hands of strangers during those hours and we all want the comfort of knowing that they are being loved and well taken care of. We did not get that comfort from the staff or Loren. We read the philosophy of the facility -- Loren specifically writes that this is a loving environment. The teachers are experienced, and that everyone is treated like family. I can honestly tell you that was not our experience. The staff was rude when we asked questions, and insensitive to the children (this is what I observed when I was there). Parents Please ask lots of questions, find out the true experience of the staff, observe how your child interacts with the different teachers, how do the teachers interact with your child. I know we are all busy dropping off and picking up - but PLEASE take the time - your most precious possession is in their hands and they can not speak for themselves. I would not recommend this facility for the toddler daycare. read more

HORRIBLE. I wish this let me rate no star . i am trying my best to leave asap but other places don't have room for this month. everytime my daughter comes back from them, she gets sick. My daughter is not a crying sensitive baby. She smiles more at strangers that at her mom. She is a happy soul smiling and giggling at teachers at child time. I once brought her to La Petite and they had no problem feeding my daughter. But I had to choose child time considering time and distance. At child time, 6 month old infant was often left starving, exhausted. feeding wasn't even tried whole day after little tiny bit of formula was fed in the morning. there was enough time bw her naps. bottles i brought remained untouched, unopened. They did not even tried to feed the baby. I understand child's behavior can be different everyday and I let it go several times already because of that. Still, it should have been tried at least if they are aware of that child is having continuous short naps and had 3ounce of formula whole day. she is almost 20 lb and gets 25~32 ounce a day. Since this is the only daycare available around my place, I still tried to fix the problem by conversation, with Ms Martina there. It was most unacceptable that she was looking for a way only to justify things, blaming my child. no admission or apologies. read more

Our daughter has been in the infant and toddler rooms and really seems to enjoy being there. Most of the staff seem to be very compassionate and seem to genuinely care about the children. The daycare is a bit expensive, but they do really engage with the children, as well as send you pictures and updates several times a day. They also provide lunch and snacks. read more

My daughter attended Childtime and I could not have been happier. Ms. Loren, Mrs. Beckie and Mrs. Renee were very patient with my child and her high energy level. They helped me and my husband when my daughter was having problems with impulse control and took the time to understand her personality. They have a excellent pre-k curriculum and my child has learned so much!! They were a godsend and I will forever be grateful to them. We love this daycare. My child was in Infant A with Ms. Gloria and Ms. Taylor. They did all sorts of projects and she was constantly coming home with cute hand and feet paintings. This location is more expensive than other daycares BUT you get precious status (an app that updates you real time in what your child is doing, plus you can communicate with the teachers immediately), they provide and wash the crib sheets and bibs, plus as I said all the crafts that come home are amazing. Yes, they are more expensive but you get ALL of your money's worth. Obviously more important than the amenities are the teachers. My child was only there for a month and I could tell how well she was developing compared to other kids her age not at Childtime. The ONLY reason why we are leaving is because of location. I agree with a previous reviewer, if I could pick this place up and move it towards my home, I would! You will not regret enrolling your child at this daycare. read more
