The other company came out, seemed knowledgeable, looked around the house a little (didn't go into the attic or do a deep inspection) and did an air mold test. The test showed high levels of Pen/Asp mold group in the master bedroom but the other company was unable to come back for almost two weeks and could not provide an exact quote until they came back. Due to my autoimmune issues and the symptoms I was having, we did not want to wait that long. That is when we contacted weDry. I was very overwhelmed due to the situation and first spoke with Amy, who was very kind and understanding. Even though she was professional, she made me feel comfortable, like I was talking to a friend instead of just a business. She was able to have someone out right away to do an inspection. When Mike came out to do the inspection, not only was he also kind and professional, he was extremely thorough. Pulling back the carpeting and padding in the closet, going up into the attic to look around, and even looking through all of the basement insulation. I was very impressed with the time and effort he put in to finding the source of the mold smell. WeDry was able to get a detailed quote back same day that showed a breakdown of every single expense so you know exactly where your money is going. I was also impressed by how quickly I would receive email responses from Amy or that she would touch base to see how I was doing. The cause of the mold ended up being due to an outside issue and our HOA stepped in to handle the repairs, using their own company. However, if Amy and Mikes work ethic are a reflection of weDry Restoration and the rest of their team and services, then I would say they are an outstanding company and believe that other companies should take a page from their book.

The Pro's: The girls were nice. They were for the most part on time and would text when they are on their way. The Negatives/Disappointments: They were not honest. The manager who first came said my home would be easy. He quoted me and said 4 people and would take an hour to hour 15 minutes. I was very clear to him that my home takes about 4.5 hours to clean and I even had them skip 2 rooms and sometimes 3 rooms (out of a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath traditional house). The first time he came they were there just over an hour. Moving forward it was 50 minutes and they always missed several things. They kept sending a text asking me to review them but I didn't want to leave a negative review and kept giving them chance after chance. Their final cleaning they scraped paint off my cabinets (he said chemicals were too harsh) so they skipped wiping the rest of the cabinets. Didn't say anything to me until I took pictures and let him know. They somehow got dirt all over my fireplace hearth and didn't wipe it up. They almost always missed dusting. They claim they wipe vents but never did. My kids bathroom on the last clean wasn't even cleaned. Garbage still there, toilet had a ring in it and soap/shampoo on ledges of the tub. After numerous texts and a phone call he finally came clean on what their plan was. He said his hourly rate was higher than the price he gave me. He was trying to get it done in 40 minutes but they couldn't without skipping things so it's not working out. He never told me this when I first hired the company. I asked him what they do and don't do. So I was only focusing on the things he said they do and those weren't even done. He kept saying "we'll get it next time," but my thought is "I am paying you this time." I was not trying to be super picky I just wanted the basics done. I had them skip changing sheets and making beds I said to focus on kitchen and bathrooms with dusting. They couldn't even get that done. Not all 4 girls work simultaneously. I was home. They claim 100% guarantee yet each time things were missed they just said next time. So next time that got what was missed and missed other things so they could get out in 40-50 minutes. They offered to use touch up paint (if we have it) and "touch up" the areas that they scrubbed the paint off of. These cabinets were done by a professional company. Besides they also said they would come back and do the room they missed and they no showed on that. So why bother. I would not recommend. Terribly disappointed and they need to better communicate because had I known they wouldn't do what they say they do I would not have even used them. Attached a couple of pics that I mentioned but I have more. I have had cleaning services over the years and individual cleaners. Most are great. The Maids was disappointing because they over promise and don't deliver.

They didn't always do a great first pass of plowing, but if you called to complain, they would come back with bobcats and handle shovels if needed to get your driveway clean enough to see the pavement. They also have a really good gardening team to remove and plant your annuals every year or take care of any of your tree and bushes needed to create privacy and an oasis around the house as well.

We were originally going to go to Menards as they tend to have better quality lumber than Home Depot, but I'm glad we found Durst instead. Durst has high quality lumber for comparable prices, and they deliver for a VERY reasonable fee. The guys who work in the lumber area are extremely knowledgeable and were able to give us good advice for one of our projects. Excellent service. We will definitely be coming back here for all our lumber needs!
