In a world where too…read moremany businesses are prone to simply take your money and give you "whatever" service in return (like The Geeks?), Sam & Company stands out as a shining example of how things should be. How many businesses these days do you know of that actually combine integrity and skill to deliver what they say they will - and at a reasonable cost? If you read the About section on their website, it mentions personal relationships with customers. That's no sales pitch - it's true. I've only had sporadic computer issues over the years and, amazingly, every time I've spoken with him, it's like talking to a friend. He knows his customers! Couple that with the fact that Sam broke away from the corporate world to bring his skills directly to the public and he's definitely earned my loyalty.

I found the basic price for service at $99 to be more than reasonable, though I was told that it would take about two weeks for my computer to be diagnosed. I paid the $75 expediting fee and given a timeframe of 2-3 days before diagnosis. I was then happy to get a call from them the next day with the diagnosis and plan of action. The day after that, my computer was ready for pickup, good as new. Overall, very happy with the experience.

After browsing with absolutely no pressure to make a sale, we decided we wanted a gaming computer and a curved monitor. Ben was super helpful, asked all the right questions about how we're going to use it, our price range, and what add-ons and capabilities we cared about. Ben answered all our questions with ease, was incredibly knowledgeable, and left us feeling well educated and confident in our purchase. We left with a great ASUS curved monitor and a PowerSpec computer, their personal brand. Can't wait to get this set up and start playing! Thanks, Ben!

I brought a PC with issues in a few days ago. After around 24 hours, I was told my motherboard, SSD…read moreand cooler were showing failures so I decided to let them build a new system. I worked with the combo team to create a package and have them build it. Went home, thinking everything was fine. The next day I called to check for progress on my PC and was told my system was still in diagnostics, which struck me as odd as we had already passed this point. I gave it some time and decided to check again later where I got the same response. I explained that we went and had a new system lined up to build and we were just going to keep my graphics card and my NVME drives. A day later, I was told to come pick up my new system, and as I was paying for it, I felt something was off with the pricing. At some point, they had just decided to put a different motherboard entirely than the notification or telling me which broke the bundle price. After the manager had come over and did some magic they refunded me $200 which was fine and I thought the experience was over and I was not going to leave any negative feedback. That is until I tried playing my system. After starting it up, I had noticed there were some issues instantly. First and foremost, the drive that they had told me had failed and we would not be bringing over to the new system, was in my system. They were supposed to have removed this drive, wiped an NVME, and done a clean install on windows on that drive as they had pitched it to me that this drive that is currently in my system and was in the old system was showing failures and would need to be replaced. I thought that was a strange oversight, but that also was not the end of my issues. I started inspecting my PC and noticed that several of the cables were not plugged in. There was an attempt to plug them in, but they were just left halfway in and bending my pins. I am exceptionally upset at the overall experience as I trusted them and gave them a decent chunk of money in this time, just to be disrespected. I feel like I should just automatically be given an extended labor warranty at this point at the least.
