After purchasing, I noticed there was no working website and then tried the phone listed but it was a wrong number. I had to go to lengths to contact Pat with Facebook. She kept saying they were in "transition". We went ahead and decided to try it. Although she kept saying more kids were coming, the class was my son and one other little girl and two older girls that she used as the teachers. The older girls are very sweet but they're kids themselves and would giggle a lot or have their conversations. Pat would use these girls to show all examples and to tell the kids what to do. She was fairly hands off and kept telling the older girls to make the corrections and such. Pat has yet to be on time for a single class and her tardiness is getting worse. She was 25 minutes late to the class that I just decided was the last straw for us. She won't start class on time but she'll definitely end class on time! Throughout this process, I've tried calling and texting for various reasons and she will not return messages. She has very poor communication skills and lacks the proper discipline that you would expect from most dancers and operators of any business. Save your time and money, folks!

She produces the best "end of the year" recitals and I have seen everyone really enjoy her dance classes. My daughter has been there 3 years and I have seen her grow so much not just in dance but in her personality (to be more disciplined and really work hard at something). As a parent I have seen that dance is not just about moving your arms to the beat - it is much more. My daughter has learned incredible artistry from Ms. Pat and has learned some life lessons as well. We are just very happy to have enrolled our daughter here. Pat's attitude is great and she is always looking for ways to improve & expand.

Bravissimo! The San Antonio Symphony is one of SA's…read moretreasures! Our quaint little town has an incredible symphony- just like the big cities! We have the full ensemble, with flutes, harps, violins- you name it! Yea, these guys aren't paid nearly enough for the amount of hours that they put in to bring you the finest classical music, but they're doing it because it's what they love doing. The symphony is amazing because they not only play the sleepy Brahms and perennial favorites like Beethoven, but they also do the Classical Pops series, where they play stuff like Star Wars night, or film scores from other movies. They usually do a bunch of stuff that even the smallest of kids would recognize. However, for the enjoyment of others, leave those kids at home. The symphony plays at the Tobin regularly, but they also do other events around town at the Majestic and other events. Yea, the Symphony did declare bankruptcy a few years ago, but since they managed to restructure, they have risen from the ashes like a phoenix, and are better than ever!

While the SA Symphony doesn't have the man-power and star-power of the symphonies like the SF Symphony, the symphony holds its own and provides a great show for any music-lover. And, if you're a student, the SA Symphony is especially kind and offers a great deal for you (see below, "Pricing"). The Music: The SA Symphony showcases a good variety of music throughout the season with the usual favorites of Beethoven, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, etc. and even ventures to highlight some contemporary pieces throughout. They tend to do themes with regards to composers, so that helps if you can't make the November concert, you can catch that your favorite composer next month! And beyond classical, the SA Symphony also does fun events like holiday pops, a highlight of Broadway musical favorites, and even a Sci-Fi tribute show. The Orchestra: I think the orchestra is lovely and produces good sound given its smaller size. The conductor Sebaastian Lang-Lessing is just so much fun to watch and he really adds zest to classical music. You can tell that the orchestra (and the conductor) both love what they do. The Pricing: Here's the big catcher for me: $8 student tickets for any seat available in the house! Wow! I've brought crowds of friends to the symphony, and we can enjoy a night of great music without making a huge dent in our pockets. It really makes for a nice way to get out of study mode and do something right-brained. Just make sure to bring your ID with you when you purchase tickets. I usually buy the whole batch day of an hour before the show starts and hand out tickets to my friends; really works out great. The Ambiance (The Majestic Theatre): The acoustics in the Majestic Theatre are great and really give you the full sound of the orchestra, especially if you sit on the mezzanine level. I feel that sitting on the main floor doesn't really give you the full sound experience, although the pricing is more expensive. If you have time, take a look around the theatre and taken in the intricate architecture - I always see something new every time I go. And, for those of you who like to spice things up, there is a cash bar on both floors. Tips: There's parking right next to the theatre (the parking garage at the first right after you pass the Majestic on Houston) for $10.00 if you don't want to circle for street parking. Sit in the mezzanine for the full sound effect and bring binoculars if you want to see things up close and personal. Hope you check the SA Symphony out!

Next time we come, we may not stay as long as we did. Once it gets to the 10th high school band and dance/cheer team, it gets a bit repetitive . The UT band was awesome UTSA should've outdone them since it's our city's event tho.

It was easy access checking in and our seats were located in the very last row mid section. We didn't know what to expect, but the seats were excellent! Great views. The performance was stellar! Cheeky humor, singing, and tap dancing which is not often seen these days anymore. Show was 2 1/2 hour with a 15 minute intermission. Restrooms were available and a bar. Pre show, the stage was set for public bar access, and then later the set up was incorporated into the stage when the show started. Cute idea! I would totally come back! Great show, clean establishment, easy parking : )

I've gone to this event two years in a row (2012 & 2013)…read more 2012 was amazing. I was new to the area, so I attended the event with my boyfriend and his mom to check out some local restaurants. I'll admit- some weren't local, but most were. They advertised 40 vendors, but they definitely must have had somewhere near 60. Every room of the Witte Museum was packed with restaurants, and they probably had another 15 outside. The atmosphere was awesome, and we couldn't even try every place because there were so many. We walked away completely stuffed, and even more impressed. It remained as my favorite event in San Antonio, so we jumped right on the opportunity to get tickets for this year's. I thought it would be even better seeing as it was the 20th anniversary. I'm so sad to report that it wasn't. We paid $30 for our tickets because we found them on a discount website, but they ask for $50. I probably would've paid $50 because I was so excited to go again This year there was fewer than 40 vendors, with at least 10 of them being drink vendors. We walked around and couldn't believe how empty it was. We were finished in 30 minutes. I left still hungry for dinner. I'm not sure what happened, but I wouldn't recommend wasting your money. Take $30/50 and go have a great dinner at a real restaurant. This just isn't worth it.

A section of the Alamodome is cornered off to create the Illusions Theater. There is then built out…read morea floor section to include fold-out chairs that get you in close with the artists, and the remaining sections are those with dedicated seats you will find at any main Alamodome stage. The sound quality was immersive and the artists sounded pretty good, despite the mix-ups with sound every once in a while that caused you to not be able to hear the artists at times. Overall, though, it was a good quality on par with most stadium shows. Since the Alamodome is cornered-off for this theater, it wasn't very expansive in the restrooms or vendors allowed in the theater, so lines did get rather long. If you are wanting to get a drink, you might be better off with having cash so you can buy from the vendors walking around rather than standing in line missing the show while you wait. The bathroom lines moved rather quickly compared to the amount of people allowed in the theater. Overall, I would definitely come back to see a show at this theater just because it was well thought-out as far as layout goes, but I will be bringing more cash to rely on seat vendors for drinks rather than standing in line.
