The people here pulled through for me once again. Due to some last minute changes in my schedule, I needed a blazer, pants, and shirt dry cleaned ASAP. I called them beforehand to confirm whether they could finish the job in 24 hours. Sure enough, I dropped them off on Monday at 5pm and they were ready for pick up by the next day at 4pm. The 2 piece suit cost $10.49 and the dress shirt cost $2.49. There's an extra environmental fee of $0.36, and they offer a 10% discount for students. My grand total after tax came out to $13.16 (paid with cash). Also, they graciously gifted me a lint roller when I picked up my suit today! Excellent service overall. read more

First time to try this dry cleaners. Dropped off a bunch of dress shirts and ties and they would be ready the following day after 5:00. The staff was nice, both at drop off and pick up. It was fun to watch the dry cleaning on hangers fly around on the clothes carousel. I don't know if they ever offer coupons, dang, dry cleaning is expensive! Here's my desk, because we are trapped here (in a sense), they take FULL ADVANTAGE of residents by charging outrageous prices per piece. If I could give this business a -10 I would definitely give it a -10. The women that work there in the morning are the most rude and helpful people I have ever encountered at a customer service based establishment. I used to take my jeans there that were denim to get starched. Every time I take them in there I would tell them I want heavy starch on my jeans every time I would get them back, my jeans felt like they had been washed and hung up and that's it and the lady proceeds to tell me that it was because of the material it was that my jeans were made out of spandex. I proceeded to tell her that I have taken these jeans to other dry cleaning establishments and they had no problem starting my jeans and she looked at me like I was stupid. This place is absolutely the worst save your money and go somewhere else. Great work, on time, good price. Can't beat the value. I had never used them before, however after co-workers told me they had a good experience with them I had to give them a shot. A lot of police officers take there uniforms here, so do UTMB doctors, nurses and employees. I paid $7 for a 2 pc suit and $1 for a shirt which is a great price and it was available next day. Worst Attitude especially the korean/Chinese owner lady called Su. I only went to this place for the first time because of all the positive reviews. The male owner from Pakistan is a very calm down to the earth guy and so is the other lady that works there. But the owner lady has got an attitude that she thinks she can command and yell at anyone in the store. At the same time, she was super nice to the white guys walking in probably because they are their bread and butter. I am a physician by profession and I have absolutely nothing to gain by painting her bad.. Probably she is having a bad day. But that is no damn excuse to show it on your customer. She ain't the only dry cleaners in town. I'd take my business elsewhere next time. All this because the male owner promised to knock few bucks on the dry cleaning because I requested him to do so the previous day. She was so damn pissed at him and slammed the door on his back. I kept quiet to myself and tried to reason with her in the most calmest way possible. But she took down a serious attitude with me and I held off as long as I could..This is my experience and may be white people and pakistani people will be treated better than me.. I've been coming to them for years. They are quick, reasonable and always do a great job on both cleaning and alterations. If you have your stuff in the morning it is ready by the afternoon. They lost my pants! As someone who puts much effort into purchasing and tailoring their clothes it is completely unacceptable to have them lost so readily. I took in two white ivory blazers (one brand new from Banana Republic that was part of a suit) to have them dry cleaned. They damaged them and turned them pink. After contacting them and speaking to Jessica she stated they knew of this issue because it had already happened to a dress. I told her had they told me they had an issue I would have made an informed decision to take my clothes elsewhere. But I guess that's exactly what they didn't want. I asked to speak to the manager. She said the manager was not there and later stated they did not have a manager and asked me to bring the blazers back to look at the damage and to try to clean them again. I told her I'd bring them in to show the manager or owner, but I did not want them trying again if they couldn't get it right the first time. I brought them back in on Monday morning and she asked me to leave them so that she could speak to the owner and would call me back later that day. She did not call me back. I popped in after work the next day and a guy was there named Art who supposedly was the owner. After explaining how they ruined my blazers, he offered some money for the damages. These blazers can never be replaced and now my suit is incomplete. The cleaners kept the jackets and would not return them. Clothes is not cheap. We work hard for what we have. They were deceitful in not disclosing they had an issue and trying to lie about whether they had a manager and providing their name or the owners to rectify this. Upon arriving, I had a bad feeling about this place. The owner and employee working were very friendly upon arrival. They asked me what services I needed and asked me to go ahead and change. The changing room is awful! It was super cold, and if someone is tall enough they could see through the corners (the corner of the room is boarded up halfway). It has no lighting or mirror and was very dirty for changing. I disregarded the latter about the changing room and came out to show my articles of clothing to the owner. I needed a simple re-hem on one pair of pants and taking in as well as a hem on another pair of pants. The owner began to pin me and make convo. She asked if I work at the hospital. I told her I don't. I told her I have an interview and she began to ask where. I told her. She asked what brings me to the island, and i told her that my husband works at hospital. She then asked what kind of doctor he is. She continued to pin me and said she can take care of the pants. She seemed so nice as she made 'small talk'. The employee rung up my receipt: re-hem: 5:00 Taking in the waist and hem: $20 Tax & grat.: $2 something gr. total: $27 and something cents. I thought this was very reasonable! They even said they'd get the pants done before my interview. The employee calls me the next day and says the pants are ready! Again, I thought, "This is my new place (I had a wonderful seamstress back home and ALWAYS get alterations). I go back the next day. A different employee working gives me a new receipt (I had my own copy from the day before in my car by the way) that says $30 and something cents. Now, I hate to sound like this cheap-o, but I like to know what I'm paying up front. It's not even about paying extra. I told the employee that this is not possible: it's $27 something. The employee from the previous day said, "She (the boss- i believe) told me to press it and add the $2 and something cents onto your bill." This would have been all fine and great if I knew up front. I am a straight, up-front type of person, and maybe this is why I grew angry about what just happened. I expressed why I thought this was bad service. No one ever said anything about pressing my pants, and I never asked. I know this is not the employees' fault. I personally think as a first-timer at Quality Cleaners, if she really wanted to impress me with pressing, throw it in services for free. Why would you up-charge someone for services they didn't ask for? That's just me though. They told me I have to pay and can come back with my receipt to talk to the owner about the difference. I said that I don't want to go back but left my copy of the original receipt with the new one at the place to show them I was not lying and was not planning on going back. The hems on both pairs of pants did not look professional, but the press looked very nice. They ruined my hem. I have lived on the Island since 3/14 and I had to find a good Dry Cleaner after being spoiled by a mom and pop shop in Houston where I resided for 41 years. I have tried all of the services offered on the Island. Even the so called drive through overpriced Pilgrims Cleaners. You can drop off at Drive through but when you are told to pick up next day after 6pm , an employee with an ATTITUDE tells you drive thru is closed at 6pm and you have to drive around and come in. Since I have a walking disability, I went to Pilgrims for that reason. SO I chose Quality because friendly service and great care of clothes. Fast service ( same day) , good alterations service and reasonable prices. Not handicap friendly but I work it out. I have used all different dry cleaners on the island and in Houston. I brought around 10 or 11 t-shirts to be laundry into quality cleansers. Before dropping them off I asked the clerk how much do they charge to have t-shirts laundry and her response was 2.50 for each t-shirt. The pick up ticket price on one ticket was a little over 10 dollars and the other one was like 12.00 dollars. When picking up the garments I was charged 39.98 for cleaning 11 t-shirts. I specifically asked how much did they charged before dropping the garments off. It did not matter what my receipt had when dropping the garments off. They still charged me a different amount that was on my ticket. Quality Cleaners response was that the clerk was new and enter the wrong price. Not my fault but most places would have honored what was on the ticket but not quality cleaners. Their are to many other dry cleaners on the island to ever do business with them again. Look at your tickets before paying. read more

I have used Quality Cleaners since I moved here, eight years ago. I have tried several competitors in the area, and I ALWAYS come back to Quality! They're prices are better, especially w their coupon! Their service is always w a smile. They've never lost nor messed up any of our garments and they're also excellent at button & zipper replacements, tailoring and w leather and furs! I have been a returning customer for 2.5 years and today I declared I wouldn't be going back ever again. I took my military uniforms to them on a Wednesday and asked for a little extra starch. The guy wrote down extra heavy starch and my uniforms turned into expensive cardboard. I asked them to fix it and they said it would be an easy fix. I showed up on Monday because the cleaners are closed Sunday and my uniforms were ready but THEY DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. I didn't have time to argue at this point. The lady sue told me the total was $12 in the beginning. Then when I told her the problem had not been fixed she told me the total was $19. I was confused about the price when I realized they had given me a coupon for screwing it up the first time....she decided not to honor the coupon. IT GETS BETTER. I inspected my uniforms and small ink stain on the inside of my breast pocket (was never a problem) had leached out of the pocket and cover a good 4x4 in area on my uniform. They screwed up the starch, they leached the ink out of my pocket, offered me a discount and then took it away. Quality Cleaners is the worst place on the island to get your clothes dry cleaned. I will not be a customer here ever again and will be using a small mom & pop cleaner off of 37th street. read more
