He hit something in the road one afternoon and made it to their shop on his way to get my granddaughter. He was concerned about the oil pan. They stopped checked his car did a repair and got him on his way and never charged him a dime. They had no idea the young man was even my son. I'll be forever grateful for the good people they are. We happened upon A-Tech Automotive a few minutes later, which we learned is run by Pastor Jim Butler. The guys were super helpful right away. Found out it was my head gasket and a few other parts that were causing the issues, and it was going to take over a day to complete. They fully explained all of my options (as a female, I'm not very knowledgeable about cars). Being 89 miles from home, it was easier to just stay in LaGrange for the night. Once we found a hotel, Jim had his son Dakota take my friend, me, 2 coolers, 6 bags, and 4 pool noodles to our hotel-which was extremely kind of them. We spent the night at the hotel. The next morning we were told the car would hopefully be done by 3pm. Once it was ready (about 2pm), Dakota called and offered to come pick us up from our hotel-I was so surprised by their generosity, as it seems to be a rare thing these days. He came to pick us up, and brought us (and all of our belongings) back to the shop. They explained how and why they fixed what they did. They went above and beyond for us, and I'll be forever grateful. He got the parts order and had repair done in less than a week. I am so happy with his professionalism and his courteous communication through the process. His pricing was very reasonable. Additionally, after getting my car back, I needed brakes. He did a complete rotor and pads replacement and detailed my car.
