I feel like I learned tips and techniques that I could take home and use day to day but also ended up making a very unique and impresssive meal. This class was Thai inspired so we made a salad, coconut curry soup, and moo shu wrapped in a pancake of sorts. Their cooking classes offer a cash bar and walk in appetizer. Then we get to the cooking, all of the ingredients were portioned and passed out. We had the opportunity to taste along the way. After cooking everything, we got to sit down and enjoy our meal. When I went back Flies were all over the cut piece waiting to be served to the guest, constantly running out of water and it was a hot day. The mother of the groom kept running back to the room to chased them down as they we're hiding in the back room behind closed doors, , not even rotating out to the dining hall to see if they could do any work! The leader kept saying she was taking accountability that was an excuse as I don't believe she even knew what accountability means. it waste of money and a very disappointing service for a wedding that we have looked forward to for a long time. We actually bought 2 orders of the $159 package, because initially we were expecting like 12 people to feed. We wound up only needing to feed 9 so we had an abundance of leftovers. Each package quoted it would feed 6-8 and I think that is true, and they weren't skimpy. It's a take and bake, so you pick up the day before Thanksgiving (we picked up at Irvington Sahm's) and then you heat up the next day and they give you easy instructions to do so.
