I booked a room through the choice Ap for 1 night for my husband and then I needed to add another night because his tournament was extended, so I had to make another reservation for the second night. He checked in for 2 nights so they charged me for his 2 nights and then the second night they charged me again. I called 3 times and they kept saying they would check with the manager and call me back. I never got a credit or a call back. Won't go to that cheating hotel again. There are so many poor reviews for this hotel. I was looking for an economical place to stay for our travels. I got what I paid for. it surely wasn't a posh and fancy place, it was retro, but not in a cool way. Everything appeared to be clean. my basic hotel needs were taken care of. the bed was comfortable. it was super hot to begin with, we finally turned the air on and that helped. there were some strong smells in the elevator, unsure of what it was. the room was definitely been smoked in.. afterwhile you didn't notice it any more. The room was missing the coffee pot, but we don't drink coffee so no problem for us. the towels are thin and scratchy, but still usable. They need a maintenance man to fix stuff that sticks out like a sore thumb. Kids yelling in the hall way, but that's not the hotels fault. come on patents, however I did raise two of my own and it's hard to curb the excitement. overall, I would stay again, it was clean and served my needs. if I was wanting to impress someone, this would not be my choice. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. 5 stars based on he fact that I got what I paid for, an economical room. read more

I have traveled a lot and generally am ok but in this instance I was amazed at the fact that Quality Inn rooms looked like this one did! And what made it worse was that for some reason they had me booked in a handicapped room. And I am not considered handicapped. The chair was broke, the window coverings were broke and the fan in bathroom did not work. I went with Choice because I like Comfort Inns and pretty much always have had a good experience. Hotel from hell! The smell of cigarette smoke in the room. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and I developed bronchitis! I only liked two things at the hotel: breakfast bar and leaving! I have seen transit centers in California that are cleaner. Our room was very much giving people live here there was bodily fluids on surfaces. The carpet was crunchy the hallway smell, like still cigarette, covered in deodorizer. read more

I would like to say thank you to the staff at Quality Inn in Arnold, Missouri. We were brought here for work, and it's a quaint town, that is not why I am writing this review. Dewayne went above and beyond, even called me on my cell to tell me our rooms were ready early. I've been in the customer service industry for 28 years, and I would want 10 of him on my staff. Kudos Dewayne. The house keeping ladies were also so friendly. I'm usually a Hyatt kinda person, maybe, they've changed my way of thinking. Thanks guys. Why a great team they have. read more

Parking lot and lobby are nice but that's where it stops. The water pressure in the shower is horrible, the sink doesn't drain, and the bathroom vent doesn't work...it just drips condensation onto the toilet. The bed pillows are the size of couch pillows which is probably why they leave 5 on the bed. Impossible to sleep on. The worst part is the light from the parking lot which doesn't allow any sleep. They put a curtain on the left side by the bed to stop light but not the right, which wouldn't be so bad except there is a decorative mirror that reflects all the light throughout the room. I have stacked my suitcases on the heater in the attempt to help the curtain but still seems like it is daylight in here at midnight. Giving it two stars is on the generous side. read more

I came here with my family on vacation. Although we only stayed one night, it was terrible. The bathroom sink water was broiling hot. The shower, on the other hand, couldn't stay warm for more than one minute. Also, the provided hairdryer was broken and wouldn't even turn on. Plus, the I had a terrible time sleeping. I could hear damn near everything going on in my room last night. The staff also seemed polite, but forced us to bring extra bedding to our room by ourselves upon our request. The room was not in good shape. There were black spots on the shower curtain that may have been mold but I'm not 100% sure. The lampshade was cracked. The bathroom door was missing the handle. There were dark red stains on the pillow and sheets that may have been blood. They supposedly had free wifi but it didn't actually work. Did not feel clean or comfortable. read more

Unfortunately, I must give a full star out of 5. While traveling with Diamond Tours, one of the rooms for my party (out of 26) was canceled. Allegedly, the hotel was filled to capacity. Tina at the front desk did not offer any assistance with helping them find a room nearby. Other members of my party could not get their televisions to operate properly. Some were put in rooms with one King bed instead of double Queens. Reimbursements would not help those of us inconvenienced since this trip is through Diamond Tours and paid through their account. This room was the most disgusting dirty, unfinished, customer service was horrible and GM was very rude to me. I would not stay here EVER again!! My room was not cleaned the entire time we stayed for 9 days. My beds were only changed once because we complained to corporate. No jacuzzi like it states on website. The rooms are very clean, nice and neatly done. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to the needs of quests. They have a great staff of front desk clerks & housekeepers. They actually have a working maintenance man around the facility and it seems to stay neat and clean. I highly recommend this hotel. It's in a great location with restaurants, shopping and stores near by. It was a very comfortable stay for several days for a business trip and then returning before heading to another location. I will definitely return to this hotel when in the St. Louis area. read more

Warning this place is infested with roaches. We had a room on the first floor and saw a roach on the ceiling, wall behind the bed and one crawling on the bed. Front desk just told me that they try to spray all the time and that was it. I would rate this place negative stars if I could. read more

This hotel I would never recommend to anyone. We reserved a adjoined room that was non smoking. Rooms reek of cigarettes. They did come spray glad but it didn't really help. Only one room was ready when we checked in and had to wait until 5 to get access to our other room. Once we were able to get to that room, it smelled worse then the first room. After talking to Tina at the front desk, she discounted our rooms a little. Then we noticed that on the headboard were hand prints and sweaty hair impressions from having sex. The mirror was splattered with some sort of substance. I walked out and asked Tina if she could come up to our room and she replied that she had already offered for us to move rooms that weren't joined so she started to blow me off until I told her there were hand prints and stuff from sex. Then she came up. She saw the headboard and mirror and something on the wall next to the bed and got cleaner and wiped down what we pointed out. I will not sleep easy tonight. We stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend and had booked three rooms. Each of our rooms were very clean and everything worked just fine. I was extremely impressed with the luxurious quality of the beds, something I don't expect in an economy hotel. The service we received was prompt and very friendly, especially a young man who's name I didn't catch but who always seemed to be available and ready to help with a big smile. I'm really not sure why other reviewers had problems at this hotel, because our pleasant stay was worth me leaving a Yelp, which I rarely do. The absolute worst stay in any hotel ever! I highly recommend to look elsewhere for a hotel if you expect to have hospitable and clean accommodations. Only a quarter(if that) of the staff is courteous and professionally well mannered! They should be ashamed of how they run a business. Everyone who works there do the bare minimum. We stayed from Monday until Saturday. Upon check in we were given a dirty un maintained room that was left from the guest before. When front desk was confronted, we were told they didn't have another room and they even over booked... handed me sheets and blankets and instructed me to do it myself. Once placing us in a "clean" room several hours later sadly forgot to have the maids attend our room the next two day. We had to call to remind them and continue to ask for towels and such. The floors and any countertop area were disgusting and looked as though they haven't been sanitized in months. Spoke with several front desk clerks and managers and was finally told that they would refund us a night for our inconvenience... upon Saturday morning check out ..conveniently there weren't any notes left behind and we had to explain again how terribly we were inconvenienced... after waiting a half hour for a manager to arrive and reciting our story again, we were told I only have 60 bucks for you and that's all I can do without getting fired. Me and my 10 year old son had to sleep in the LOBBY because when we came to check in with our reservation they informed me there were no rooms and that my reservation meant nothing. We booked a king Jacuzzi suite. The first room they put us in smelled like smoke, even though it was supposed to be a smoke free room, and it did not look clean (there was still a key card on the dresser from the previous guest!)! They gave us a new room which looked and smelled clean. We then discovered that the toilet didn't like to flush unless you held the handle down for a good 15 sec. Even after holding it down the bowl would just fill up and then drain slowly. The first morning we discovered ants all over the sink and counter, all we had out was an empty and rinsed wine bottle! The second evening our toilet would not flush at all and when we told the desk clerk, she handed us a plunger and walked away. After we plunged the toilet ourselves, and it had no effect, we went back and told her again. She said they've been having issues with it, she came and plunged it and got dirty toilet water all over the bathroom. Then she just left, did not clean up the mess at all! While she was "fixing" it I had to use The bathroom in the lobby and there were ants! The toilet continued to be an issue our entire stay! We went to go swimming and the water was cloudy and the room smelled like mildew. Needless to say, we didn't end up swimming at all during our stay. When we were ready to check out there were 3 other guests waiting at the desk and no one behind it. There were 2 staff members across the hall in the dining room sweeping the floor and talking to each other. A guest had to ring the bell to get their attention to check us all out. I am VERY disappointed with my stay at this hotel! I have stayed at other Quality Inns and none have been as unkempt and unprofessional as this one! I will not ever stay there again! read more
