Mini-fridge in the room along with a coffee/tea maker. All staff I encountered were pleasant and professional. Nice restaurant with good food right next door. They offer a continental breakfast but I did not eat there. The only complaint is the tv. There was nothing in the room listing the channel guide, and when I did get a guide on the tv, it wouldn't let me utilize it, e.g., guide on screen, arrow keys to move around instantly went to a channel. Needed a cheaper place to stay while passing through town. You get what you pay for in my opinion. Everything in the hotel seemed run down and old. Wallpaper peeling, stains on curtains, sticky flooring. But there were some nice things. The pool was nice and the breakfast was one of the better complimentary breakfasts I've had. This is the cleanest hotel i've ever been in. Mas notices are everywhere, sanitizing is visibly happening, six foot marks are in the dining area and request to sanitize WITH a bottle at the beginning of the food line. After reading reviews we decided to book an overnight stay here. The room had visible wear and tear - scratches and knicks in the walls and wooden furniture, the cabinet unit with the fridge was broken, and the couch was visibly broken down in the center. The cleanliness was also questionable. The mirror in the main living area was splattered and smudged, presumably with toothpaste, but still disgusting. The bathroom floor was visibly soiled with an unknown substance stuck to it in places and splatter in front of the toilet. We asked for it to be mopped and while were out for dinner. I found some pieces of trash and a very old cubed potato in the room. Clorox wipes, microban, and flip flops were essential to getting through this stay. Very disappointed. read more

It's clear they need better housekeeping staff and that the management NEEDS to do regular follow up inspections. The room they checked us into was NOT cleaned. The floor wasn't vacuumed, you'll see the clear indicators in the photos. I didn't bother to photograph the pubic hair in the bathtub. The rest was a dead giveaway that the room was not truly cleaned at all. Finally the plug/charger unit between the beds didn't work. Sigh. Sadly, realized as I was writing this -- we should have read the reviews. This housekeeping issue is a longer term issue that has clearly been ignored. Sad and truly disappointing. read more

Very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms are clean and roomy. The hotel has a bar down by the lobby if you want to have a couple drinks in the evening. There is a fitness room- it's not real big but there hasn't been anyone else in there when I went so it's been nice. There is a pool and a hot tub. Pool is a good size and it's indoors. Hot tub is not bad. Where this place won me over was the continental breakfast. Quite possibly the best I've ever had. Eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos and much much more. read more

The only thing remotely new about this place is probably the bar....and I'm probably wrong about that. The walls are so thin you can hear the conversations in the next room. The wall paper is peeling, the tub looks like it's 30 years old.....if you're smart enough to figure out the TV you deserve a medal! Doors slamming at all hours of the night. They either had a hell of a party or a fight in the room above us around 3 AM. Some one repeatedly put a rock in the hall exterior door to keep it from closing...feeling safe yet? Filthiest hotel my wife & I have ever seen. She was a flight attendant & I traveled every week on business. We've stayed at hundreds of hotels and have never seen anything as dirty & disgusting as this hotel. Our first room by had a stopped up toilet with stool in it! Really. our second room was filthy, missing light bulbs, black mold on the walls, and a dark red puddle under the toilet. And no working A/C in July. The room was 83 degrees. We decided to stop the night enroute from vacation...after 13 hrs in the car traveling, Quality Inn& Suites was perfect. Easy reservation, friendly staff, large room (excellent since we had our 3 grandkids with us), excellent breakfast offered with a great variety. Comfortable beds, and perfect pillows. Let me start with the positives. The room was spacious. The water pressure and nice hot temps in the shower was divine. The lobby area is very nice, with a bar and seating area. The breakfast area is large and clean, with a decent breakfast available. The pool is fairly large for an indoor hotel pool. Now for the negatives. Most of the negative aspects are shown in my photos. The beds are super soft and uncomfortable. The room needed updating BADLY. It's a 1992 room in 2021. The TV is good, but no programming guide, only a piece of paper with the channel guide. The entire hotel smells like a musty basement. There is obvious neglect to the baseboards, with pieces broken off and just laying where they fell. The floor behind the bedside table was FILTHY. The a/c filter could use a scrubbing. The caulking around the tub was cracked and ancient looking. There is one big negative that needs to be addressed. There is a large patio area outside the pool. It is accessed by a door leading from the pool area. Once you are outside, the door locks behind you and there is no other way back inside except to jump the fence and walk around the building, or bang on the door and hope someone hears you. We stayed at this hotel several years ago and this problem existed even then. I cannot believe there isn't a card reader on the door to allow people back into the building. We only visit Hannibal every couple years or so and this was our second stay at this hotel. There will not be a third. read more

First of all, the reservationist lied to me. He said the hotel was 10 years old. This hotel is way older than that so I could smell scented cleaners and air fresheners used to hide the old hotel smell! Strong scents affect my respiratory system. The treadmill was broken and after traveling all day, I needed to get my steps in for the day. The staff told me a new one was arriving the next day but I was leaving in the morning. There was a hole in the bathroom door. The breakfast was okay and the staff was nice. Overall, it was a bad experience for me, in my opinion. read more

Don't know where to begin but DON'T stay here. Blood on the bed sheets, both bath tubs were filthy and grimy. They brought us new sheets to change out the bed ourself. Brought us cleaning solution so we could the bathtubs ourselves. Sheets also had 1 detached leg from a cricket I believe and at least 3-4 pieces of rat crap under the covers. The lady at the front was courteous, very nice and doing the best she could but the manager needs to be fired. Manager should be aware of the rooms condition. Doors had rust and paint peeling and a chunk missing out of the bathtub. Much of the same in the pool are it was pretty dirty. read more

My family stopped here for a quick layover on a road-trip at 1am. The desk clerk checked us in and we headed to our room with our 1 y/o son and our dog. Upon entering our room we became overwhelmed with the odor of pet urine with hint of carpet cleaner. Additionally, the air conditioner unit on the roof was apparently imbalanced causing a loud pulsating noise so intense you could feel it in the window. We headed back to the front desk to find another room. The desk clerk sent us to another room. Once we opened his second attempt to accommodate us, we were greeted with the smell of cigarette smoke. Vegas-style cigarette smoke odor in the "converted smoking room", according the the desk clerk. We headed back the the front desk. Round 3 the desk clerk sent us to another room near the others. Once we entered this room we noticed a much more subdued pet urine odor with slightly more carpet cleaner aroma, an improvement? Once we glanced at the bedding it became clear it had not been washed. Wrinkled with hairs and resembled the effort the effort a child would put into cleaning their room. It had not been washed. Back the the desk a final time we were informed by the desk clerk, Brandon, that he was aware house keeping had not been cleaning the rooms and he has had issues with the housekeeping manager's work ethic. He also informed us the manager, Liz, would not allow him process a refund after dark. Frustrated and unwilling to subject our child to this degree of filth, we packed up and hit the road, ultimately sleeping in our vehicle at a rest stop. The next morning I waited until Liz arrived, late to work, according to the desk staff. As I waited on the phone the desk attendant failed to put me on hold and I overhead another customer complaining about the room odor. This staff member then shared their thoughts on the merits of my complaints with this customer. Ultimately, after several calls and multiple disconnects, we were issued a refund. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with a sense of smell or those who desire a clean bed. read more

IF YOU ARE DISABLED, READ THIS REVIEW. Upon check in, the desk clerk and I literally had to yell at each other to be heard over the noise of the bar. There were no accessible parking locations available, possibly due to my late arrival (approx 10pm), however this was made more problematic due to the fact that none of the side doors of the hotel could be accessed from the outside, with a room key or without. This was not related to the time of arrival. All the doors had signs that they could not be used for entry and the desk clerk apologized that none of them were working. Therefore, I had to park in front to check in, move the car to the back of the building, and walk around the building to return to the front to re-enter the hotel. As a disabled person, this was a significant hardship. I had requested and was given an accessible room. However, the carpeting in the room is covering a very uneven floor surface which was difficult, if not dangerous, for my wife and I to walk on. Additionally, the bed in the room was exceedingly tall (30 inches off the floor). If you are disabled and not long-legged, you may find this difficult to sit on and quite literally climb into for sleeping. It was actually as tall as the desk, the back of the chair, and the mid-sized refrigerator. If you are accustomed to sleeping on the kitchen counter, you will have no issues. On a positive note, the breakfast was good. read more

I spent a lot of time traveling to Hannibal for business. The Quality Inn is the nicest hotel in town. The hot breakfast is a good way to start your day. The hotel lobby bar has happy hour from 5:30 to 8:00 or so, with good drink specials. Yvonne was usually working the bar during the week and she always remembered our names and greeted us with a smile. Rhea is one of the daytime managers and was excellent. There were four people from my company and she always had out rooms ready, on the preferred floors. She even had our rewards accounts tied to the reservations and remembered my name after my first visit. Next door is Fiddlestiks, which is one of the better restaurants in town. It's nice to walk across the parking lot for a meal when you are tired. Next time I stay in Hannibal, I will stay here again. read more

Stayed here with my boyfriend while on a trip to Hannibal, MO. The service was pretty friendly. Our room was nice. Very spacious, with a microwave, refrigerator, and jacuzzi hot tub! That was a nice touch, and probably the best part of our stay. The free hot breakfast buffet every morning was pretty nice. The fitness room left a LOT to be desired. One elliptical, one treadmill, one stationery bike, and a few weight machines. All equipment was VERY old. There was an indoor pool and spa, which was VERY VERY nice. The walls here are extremely thin. You will hear your neighbor's conversation (and everything else, if you know what I mean!) You will also hear your neighbors upstairs. We were awakened every morning by the pounding of feet over our heads. I was not extremely impressed by this place. However, the price was pretty reasonable for all that was included. read more

This place is great and I marveled at it being here in Hannibal. Why such a nice place in such a little town? My guess is for tour groups coming to the Mark Twain venues. For anyone, but especially groups...it's perfect. The rooms are huge. I came with a tour bus full of junior high students and with four to a room, they needed all of that space. Everything was clean. The bathroom amenities are great. Rooms included a hairdryer, coffeemaker, refrigerator, and a table and chairs. Yes, yes...TV too. Beds were pretty comfortable. There's an indoor pool with hot tub, a workout room, a bar area, a nice big lobby with a fireplace and a breakfast / lounge room. The breakfast was good. read more

The breakfast was better than average for a hotel breakfast too. Only negatives would be staff not overly friendly or helpful. For example, we needed a bottle opener and went to front desk. Staff said there was probably one at the bar, but it was not open and they would not look to see if they could find one. Also no greetings when you came or went. Front desk just did not seem happy with their job. The other negative is the room is showing some wear and tear and is going to need to be updated soon. Overall I would say it is a very good value for the price you pay and would recommend this hotel. read more

5 guests in a 2 double bed room. Plenty of space for the rollaway bed (low points on that- not very comfortable). Breakfast was amazing - need a little more room in the room on busy weekends or the option to take food back to our room. Pillows were super small and lumpy; bed was ok; sheets were good. Hotel is in really bad shape. Run down is key word which is a shame as the guts of the place could be nice and doable for people! We actually left after they switched us twice and nothing wasn't stinky, musty, cracked, broke, lightbulbs removed to save money, ripped towels, crap on walls, toilet seat broken, tiles in bathroom broken. This place was awful! There was water damage on the bathroom ceiling. (Room 240) A big patch had been repaired (the paint was a different color) and within that area it was turning brown again. The bathroom also had gross hair on the floor, and the toilet didn't flush properly. We asked for another room but it was a smoking room and was suffocating. I never write bad reviews, but if I can save someone from being exposed to a moldy place it's worth it. This room was $180 total with the $20 extra they charged for each pet. It was a huge health hazard and a rip off. The only good thing was there were very friendly employees. I'm sorry they're risking their health working in a water damaged building. If any employees read this, please see the documentary, "MOLDY" to see what a serious health hazard being exposed to water damage is. There were also dark stains on the ceiling outside the elevator as well, and the whole place smelled like mildew. read more

I was more impressed with this hotel than I was expecting to be. The bed is pretty comfortable and the rooms are very spacious with a good wi-fi system. The indoor pool is a nice feature and the breakfast buffet was better than I expected! (The bacon was actually pretty outstanding.) The hotel was PACKED, yet there was parking in the vicinity of the door, which I appreciated since it was pouring out. I didn't hear a peep from any of the neighbors in spite of this place being full. Another nice feature is the bar and grill across the parking lot which is open late and had pretty good food. This is by far the nicest place I have stayed in Hannibal yet, and I would definitely return. read more

The rooms are always extremely clean, the staff is friendly, and has one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had at hotels for less than $150 per night It does lose a star because I often times need to go to the local coffee shop in town to use WiFi since it often times does not work and I need to access my work laptop outside of business hours. read more

While the hotel was nice, clean, with good food during breakfast hours there were some things I did not like. I like a firm mattress but I almost just slept on the floor as hard as these beds were. The pillows are the size of throw pillows on a couch. The air conditioning in my room didn't work for more than 5 minutes at a time. I won't stay here again just due to the lack of sleep here. Stayed two days while doing business in town. The hotel is very clean. I was happy with the room. Just the bed was so terrible I couldn't sleep much at all. Anyway, if you can sleep on a rock stay here. Hotel has a bar inside as well, they have a buffet supper for $11.00 as well. The food wasn't half bad at all. read more

Would definitely stay here again. Great value. Friendly and helpful staff, tasty and complete breakfast and coffee, spacious double queen and single king rooms, nice pool (liked the palm trees) and jacuzzi, the laundry facilities and fitness center worked well for us, and overall a nice comfortable atmosphere. Why not 5 stars then? The wifi didn't work in our room (north side), leaky faucet, a necessary lamp didn't work, the a/c kept going off, and the fridge thought it was a freezer only. We were awaken at midnight by the hotel alarm clock shortening out, making a large bang and pouring smoke out. This occurred a foot from my head! My husband unplugged it and put the smoking, hot clock in the bath tub. The night manager put us in another room as our room was full of smoke; however we felt we were entitled to a refund because we shouldn't have to pay for a nights sleep when we certainly didn't get one.
