Upon inspection I discovered the shower floor was dirty as well as the carpet annnnddddd there are still currently Semen stains on the walls ( I have attached pictures below) I called the front desk that following morning to explain and he says the cleaners are coming, when she came she did not clean the wall and after she cleaned the bathroom the shower floor is still dark with dirt. The towel also had dark spots smh. The only thing people ask for when booking a room is for it to be CLEAN.

When asked about the receipt or record of my stay I was misdirected and told the machine did not work. Even though they had a credit card machine mounted on the desk, they kept my credit card and ID behind the desk for a prolonged amount of time, again stating the credit card machine did not work, even though it was on and they made place my card inside of it. They kept insisting I was traveling with a dog, that they watched me on their camera handling a dog. Nice to know they invest in cameras to spy on guests but do not invest in cleaning supplies or upkeep of the premises. I can 100% guarantee I do not own a dog and was not traveling with a dog nor did I interact with a dog while on their property. I did notice someone check in after me walking a dog, I wonder if they added HIS dog to my room rate because they arrogantly claimed to be watching us outside with cameras? Creepy! I wouldn't know because again, they refused to supply a receipt. Paper or email. I think they knew they were setting me up for a horror show and wanted to make it as hard as possible to make a complaint or argue the charges. I was traveling from Long Island to Florida and pulled over for the night with my 16 year old daughter. It was a total fail. Not only did we not get any rest but after we left we started itching something terrible. We had to be treated for a parasite infection (photos attached)when we arrived in Florida. I called corporate and was told this was an independently managed location and they threw a few thousand points at me to try and fix the situation. I told them that was a nice gesture , however, the main reason for the call was to have someone look into this place. I hope they keep their promise to investigate this location. This business is a trap, it takes advantage of tired weary travelers along 95 expecting to receive the benefit of a national brand. There is nothing quality about this place. I see they do not take criticism of their lack of upkeep or cleanliness seriously, insulting and arguing with negative feedback instead of listening and fixing the problem. It's easier to blame the customer than look in the mirror. I usually do not take time out of my day to call or write complaints but this hotel crossed a line so far in my mind, I need to warn the world about them. If I can save one person from this experience, it was worth my time.

When we first checked in our room had a tv and a fridge that didn't work so we were credited for the inconvenience as we secured another room for a more "long term stay". The pool was empty ALL summer, with no update on when it would be fixed. "we don't know how much it will cost, it's very expensive to fix" but 720 we were paying for two weeks at a time was pretty expensive too. The breakfast was strictly cut off at 9 AM on the dot, and the breakfast area "rules" were so regulated to avoid families from "over using" their products, as this area was already heavily understocked/under-budgeted. No hot food, 3 types of very plain stale cereal. Their fridge had apple juice, milk, and sunny d that was always almost empty. we had two problems with our rooms door handle in the 75 + days we were here. The second problem was after it was fixed so the card reader would work. we were almost trapped inside due to the inside door handle coming completely off. The maintenance man is absolutely fantastic and does his best with limited resources and horrible bosses/instructions to take care of all rooms. This property is very anti-kid/anti-family in a way that is just very sad to see. People are outside drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes/weed/arguing with partners publicly, but in the end we were asked to leave because the children were "playing too much around the property" and they didn't like the look. I only have one child, who LOVED having friends here until they removed the basketball court & punching bag that was here when we first checked in, to avoid the children having somewhere to go in big groups or play. But they rent to SEVERAL families, that have several children.. The people at the front desk are barely ever inside when you need them, always 5-10 minute wait for anything you need. Even though they have plenty of time to walk around the property going inside rooms where people stay, with and without them present, without any plan to clean. The front desk woman Sonja barged into our room more than once after knocking, even though we were unclothed due to lack of time to get dressed. She also admitted that her and other staff (not housekeeping) had been entering our room without us there OR AWARE, even though our room had NOT been touched to be cleaned by anyone. So why were they inside our room AT ALL? She requested that all of our belongings (kids toys) stay on one side of the room because they didn't like them on both sides, which I have never had a hotel ask that of me before. I respectfully told her that I pay to have the stuff in my room freely, but that I could move it once a week if needed for them to mop as that was the supposed reason she gave me that I needed to move it to one side. My father in law also unfortunately passed away down the hall in another room, during a welfare check with the police, they brought the wrong key card to the door for the police officer to get us in to see if he was okay, and took their sweet time to go back and get the correct one. It took so long the officer decided to kick the door in instead of waiting for them. After my father in law was transported to a funeral home, they let me accidentally return his key that was meant for us to use to get his belongings and refused to give it back one minute later after realizing. Even though they were fully aware I was the one who called for the welfare check and that he had passed away, on Father's Day. They were completely insensitive to the situation/and a little rude The day after a person lost his life in their hotel, his belongings just needing to be cleared out his room by his son (my husband). They tried to take money towards the room without issuing a receipt, then just gave it back and said "just pay later" when I reiterated that I needed a receipt. This whole place is beyond sketchy, and it's sketchy and not welcoming because of the staff. Their main motto is "I just work here ‍" one guy even told me FROM BEHIND THE COUNTER "you know I don't even work here" no sir I did not , because you're Sonja and the sexist mans father, and you're behind the desk. Sonjas brother walked past me several times refusing to talk to me, only my husband. Calling me "lady" in a derogatory manner telling me I needed to go inside the room to allow the "men to do business" which was not appreciated by me or my husband. If you need any more reasons to NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE, stay one night yourself, you'll find plenty. They kicked out 4 families who had stayed here for months. With less than 24 hours of a heads up, AFTER we called the police for at least that. The man that goes by Za told our husbands "I'm going to talk to you, NOT the women. You know they're too crazy and emotional to handle business"

As we were about to complete the transaction for one (1) night, they found the 3-day prepaid reservation. The pending charge of $122.09 on 6/7 was supposed to 'fall off' within 2 - 3 days. Opened dispute with Citibank on 6/12/23. Received email from Citibank on 6/24/23 telling it was all taken care of. It's not and Citibank claims did not send email even though I have copy with all details. As of 6/27 it is still on the Citibank card as pending. Citibank won't do anything with pending charges until 30 days have passed. Three way calls between Econo Lodge, Citibank, and myself have proven fruitless. I've locked my Citibank card until I decide if I want to keep them given their lack of true assistance in this matter.
