Hampton Inn & Suites Lexington - Guest room amenity

The amenities included a mini fridge, swivel TV, microwave, sofa bed, desk, king-sized bed, and "Zero 0%" shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion. I liked the "Zero 0%" shower gel and lotion; they weren't too strong or abrasive on my sensitive skin. The breakfast was good: A variety of hot and cold items. I had a waffle and fruit both mornings, with orange juice and coffee. Please note: -There was no safe in the room. -Smokers chained smoke on the bench 6 feet from the entrance. -No double sink All in all. We enjoyed our two-night stay. It is 20 minutes from Fort Jackson. It has plenty of parking, is clean, is near the interstate, has well-rated dining options, and is across from "5 Star Car Wash"- if you have a 5 Star membership, the wash is free. Staff accommodated a late check-out so my son could shower and change out of his Class A's after BCT graduation. We truly appreciate it!

The front desk employee Kathy was so friendly and welcoming. The lobby is clean and inviting. My room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Loved the shower. The TV was very large and had lots of channels. The breakfast was cereal, muffins, yogurt, eggs, waffles, fruit, juice, milk. Coffee/tea is available 24/7. The only negative is that you can't walk anywhere from the hotel. Also the room's doors bang when closed. I would stay here again. 4.5/5.0

The pictures online were nice and the prices were really good. We weren't sure if my daughter's friends were staying with us , so I got a room with two queen beds. At first the hotel from the front looked nice and the front desk area was clean and they had a small area where you can eat breakfast We got our room keys and it was towards the end of the building. The only thing I didn't like was that some of the lights were flickering and looked kind of scary. But when we got to our room, it was actually very nice . Looks like new floors and the beds were very comfy. There was a table with two chairs, a microwave, and refrigerator. The TV was a pretty good size and there were a lot of channels. The bathroom was small but clean. The flow of the water could be more stronger though. Our phone in our room didn't work but that's ok. Only issue I had was when we were leaving the next day to get breakfast and our door would not lock The mag lock was off. Went to the front desk and they went right away to look at it. They gave us new keys. The staff was really nice and answered any questions we had. Another family stayed at the hotel and they loved it. I would definitely stay here again jn the future .

Little did we know, because we couldn't care less about golf, that the Master's was going on down the road in Augusta. Everything was booked up. We always use Yelp, but my wife got confused when booking the room, and we ended up here by mistake. Maybe it was cruel irony that the motel was called Master's Inn. Maybe it was just plain cruel. The sheets were dirty. They had holes in them. Does the air conditioner work? No. Does the fridge work? Not well. The hot and cold water lines are reversed, but you'll come to expect that kind of thing after a few moments here. White is black and black is white. The entire facility is run down, in a post apocalyptic way that would even convince Kim Jung Un to abandon his nuclear ambitions. You can't sleep here. It's impossible. But it doesn't end there. Oh no. This place isn't through with you until it chews you up and spits you out. Once sun down hits the riff raff begins. It starts outside with the drinking and the noise. You stand at the door peering out the peep hole, with the feeling that you're trapped, similar to the Romans when the Vandals were clamoring at the gates. Drugs? Without question. Cars coming to and fro, people going up to the windows, with some sort of transaction occurring. They weren't delivering pizzas. Prostitution? Not sure but confidence is high, I repeat confidence is high. Fortunately, we had our sleeping bags with us. We stripped the beds and slept in them, just trying to make it through the night which seemed unending. The walls are paper thin, so even if you could sleep in this miserable slum you're not going to. If I could give this place a negative one thousand stars, I would. I didn't even take any pictures of the scene. If you need pictures for what I've described here for you today, then by all means go experience it for yourself. I told the wife that we are never to speak of this again. I just wanted to forget. But I want to share it with y'all so that you don't suffer a similar fate. Avoid the Master's Inn at all costs. And, to the good people of Columbia, South Carolina, please raze it to the ground.

That is as good as it gets. The place was in pretty bad shape, Beds were frumpy and lumpy, the bed spreads were old and out of date as well as the curtains, but again that didn't bother me. Hey to was $79 right? What did bother me was that the place was filthy! splatters on the door, dirty smear of something brown and uncomfortable in the bathroom, Black mold in the shower and horrible dirty and rusty tables for the microwave. I almost considered driving straight through to Charleston that very night but I was exhausted. I can say that we slept on top of the bedspread in our clothes with our jackets over the pillows. And as bad as we felt, we both waited to get to Charleston and check into our hotel room to shower. I felt dirty after staying in the room, and it was after this room that my wife made me promise that I will never book a room like this ever again. It was pretty gross, so I didn't fight her too much on that.

I know it's not the Ritz and the price was reflective of that. For a place that is right off the interstate...this was very disappointing. The check-in was great, the hostess was super sweet but I should have heeded her warning when she asked me, "Do you want to look at the room first?" She caught me off guard and I was in a hurry to get to the cookout so I said no. I got a double non-smoking pet friendly room and was on my way. The front of the hotel is okay but my room was around back and it looked kinda seedy. Thank goodness my husband was there. I took my precious dog to the room and it was your ordinary hookup motel, nothing fancy. Even though it was a non-smoking room, someone clearly didn't obey the rule and it smelled of stale smoke. I got my doggie all set up and left. 4-5 hours later...now at 12am/1am we go back to the hotel to crash before driving back up to Charlotte. I had to use the bathroom...so I'm sitting there :) and look up at the shower head and saw BLACK MOLD! I'm freaking out and call my husband in there...then we go back into the room and notice that there are cigarette holes in the blankets on the bed. We go down to the lobby and demand a room change. We're then informed that cannot change rooms nor get our money back. Needless to say, I went and packed up our things and we left that night to head back up to Charlotte. I was very tired but it's amazing how much energy you have when you're angry. Horrible place to stay...Stay far far away. The end.
