This was the worst hotel I have stayed in. The price is cheap. The staff was willing to allow me to switch rooms for 2nd night of stay. 1st room was horrendous, 2nd room had apparent heavy pot smoker (non-smoking room), 3rd room was 200% better than 1st night room. I now know why the price was so cheap! First impression of room, awful. No hot water in shower (warm), no phone, no fridge, no microwave, no TV remote. I do not know how this room is allowed to be offered to paying guests. Did not feel safe, personal safety and hygiene safety. read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. This place is worst then any place I've ever been and to be honest I've been in some pretty messed up places. To start off there is over 40 dead crickets through out the whole room . The fridge didn't even work and the pool was closed. There's was blood stains on one of the beds sheets. There was no cups no ice bucket. The bathroom well you'll see in the pictures. There was three of us and there was only two towels so we went up front to ask for another and the guy at the desk complained about giving us another one .. I've called Wyndham and put a complaint in and when I went to the office and informed them that I had called Wyndham and put a formal complaint In and described the issues with the rooms conditions. There was a different employee this time his name is Kevin and I must say that this employee is probably the only good thing this place has going for them. He immediately offered to switch us rooms which was in the same condition. He then offered to show me a few other rooms but sadly they were in the same condition but he was able to see this with his own eyes. He was very apologetic and very helpful.. He went above and beyond to make sure that the rest of our stay in this nasty place was as comfortable as could be considering the conditions. So if at any point Wyndham reads this your employee at this location named Kevin deserves a raise or deserves to be working in a way nicer location his customer service is impeccable. Gross is all I can say. We arrived to hotel at 10:30p but didn't get into room until almost 11:45p because they needed to "clean" it. Supposedly one of housekeeping staff had quit and there was only one left cleaning all rooms. Cleaning lady literally smoked a cigarette while she worked in our room. Our room was disgusting! It hadn't been cleaned in a while. Debris on floor, toothpaste stains on cabinet, stains on our sheets and stains in the bathtub. I tried to find another hotel, but all were full. One of the worst places I've stayed and I've stayed at some bad ones. read more

I am a Choice rewards member and tried to post my review there but I couldn't find the link on their app. So here I am. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The staff was nice but that's about it. I had a single double bed and killed one small pinhead size bug (light brown) the first night. Over my two night stay my legs got all ate up with bed bug bites. Shown in pics. There is a huge gap between the door and the floor. The shower sprayed water on the floor even after carefully closing the curtain. The tub was slippery and the hot/cold appear to be reversed. The bathroom tile didn't wasn't trimmed all the way to the vanity which looked awful. The channel up/down buttons on the remote didn't work and finally the signal quality was hit/miss. I can deal with most anything but the bed bug bites pushed me over the edge. read more

I lived in Willow Park for about five years and regularly put family up there when the visited and we didn't have room in our home. I also lived there for about three months when I was waiting to close on my new home in Aledo. The rooms are always kept quite clean and the housekeeping staff is very friendly and accommodating of requests. The ownership and I never argued, but, as with many people with their country of origin, I had something of a culture clash and disagreed with some of their policies. They are in the process of renovating the rooms, but progress is slow. Front desk staff are sometimes not as attention as they should be but, with an exception or two, are quite friendly and helpful. They have done minor but somewhat plumbing problems in a few if the rooms and the bathtubs are slippery. Also, the tons have no way to plug the drain to take a bath rather than a shower other than sticking a cloth on the drain it buying your own plug. WiFi is basically horrendous. I never was able to get them to correct the times on the outside lights, so there is a serious security problem because of that. It's a pretty good morning for the price range, but needs more attention from management. I could never bring myself to eat the breakfast but there is a McDonald's next door. I still stay there when I go back to visit our for business. read more

First of all, this is a MOTEL. Outside doors for those that travel alone. Second it has a bar. Do NOT get a room by the bar. You'll be up for hours. Showers super slippery. I made a reservation online for a king bed, non smoking. We arrived around 1 am to find that there was a bar attached to the hotel, and it was still very lively. The front desk man was trying and very polite, but he was dealing with a lot. Some people didn't have a working key so he was having to go and let them into their rooms. When he finally got to us, he said he would have to let us in too, bc he had no more room keys. The room he let us in was right next to the bearkats, and he said sometimes they stay open later than two (the legal cut off time in tx). Not only was it extremely loud from the music and groups of people yelling outside, but it was a smoking room. It smelt horrible, but he said he just had to get pillowcases and it was ready. I found all the towels inside the tub, and on the ground, so obviously this room had not been cleaned. The man at front desk was very apologetic and said he would do a discount. He moved us further down from the bar and it was non smoking room. The new room was cleaner, but no blankets, just sheets, so a little weird. Toilet wouldn't flush. But at least it was cleanish. Front desk the next morning said they couldn't do anything about a discount, so I still payed full price. I would not recommend to anyone. read more

I booked this hotel with two Queen beds so my daughter had somewhere to sleep. Got to our room it's a king bed with a hot tub/ jacuzzi. Called down to office told them it wasn't what I booked. I originally thought I booked a king with a sofa that was my mistake as that's usually what we get when we travel with our daughter. But I indeed did book a two bed queen. They refused to move me saying what I booked and what they had on screen were different and it wasn't their fault. I don't know who's at fault but they didn't even want to accommodate my move saying they were completely booked but couldn't be accurate as the ppl behind us moved rooms and I know the people that were behind us. We drove from Mineral Wells, Texas just to sleep here and neither of us got what we paid for. Did ask for extra blankets so my child could make a pallet on the floor but she refused to sleep on the floor. I'm requesting a full refund at this very moment because although I have a place to lay my head it's not what I booked or paid for. If they would have moved me I wouldn't even have wrote this. As I'm still writhing this the hotel has been on the line with booking and wants to give or bring us in an extra bed (like a rollaway bed i guess) free of charge. Still not happy and will call again tomorrow to further discuss this with someone else who is hopefully more professional cause I'm not done. It's almost midnight and my child played a hard game of volleyball tonight and is tired and ready to go to bed. read more

Rooms are in horrible Condition! I had no cold Water plus housekeeping is not trustworthy. My eyeglasses have gone missing and the only Place they were at is at this hotel. I have tried my best to get them back because now I can only see with contacts. I have horrible eyesight and my glasses are special order. read more

Bed bugs, Holes in the floor, no hot water, the owner "Stephanie" is extremely disrespectful to the workers, coloring/stains on the floor and walls, AC leaks all over the floor, and the power goes out every now and then. It's just a shitty motel and I highly recommend finding a different place to stay. read more

I have stayed at a lot of nasty places but this one takes the win. Just disgusting. If you are a tired traveller keep driving, if you go a few more miles West there are a lot of good hotels. This place didn't have a working door, no blanket, smoke detector was hanging out of the ceiling and going off at full sound. I went to tell the front desk lady about it she was smoking a cigarette, on the phone and not too concerned about what I had to say, and finished her cigarette. The front desk lady was rude. We walked into a room stinking like cigarette smoke so bad, there was an empty ice cream container behind the door, there was feminine wash and shaved hair left in the shower from the previous customer. The night stand had trash and leftover food from the previous person. The toilet got clogged and overflowed literally every time you flushed it and when we informed the front desk they gave us 3 towels and a plunger but told us there was nothing else they could do and were irritated that we even bothered them. The carpet was then soaked with dirty toilet water. The amount of dead crickets underneath the bed was just insane. Staff very nice and friendly...room was ok for a lower budget hotel...bathroom sink needed an aerator...phone was unplugged....hot breakfast included scrambled, eggs, hash browns, sausage and gravy plus waffles, fruit, juice, milk, cereal, etc. Located right along the highway..easy on and off. My room was ready for me bed was made perfect everything worked just a relief to have a nice clean place to stay , breakfast was hot and had a variety of food to choose from , the night shift was respectful and funny haha they waited on me without rushing me . 5-5 would totally stay here again . Booked a room through Choice Hotels Website. Confirmed for two queen beds in mobility accessible room. After 9 hours of travel, arrived to be given a King room with no safety equipment whatsoever. They claimed no other rooms. Could barely get a standard size wheel chair between the foot of the bed and the standard size refrigerator. Could not get the wheel chair through the bathroom doorway without scraping it. 92 year old mother with very limited strength was petrified she was going to fall every time she needed to use the toilet. She could not directly use the sink. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke covered with air freshener, the tub had black mold. The mattress was covered with plastic which was fine, the sheets and towels were clean, no blanket. When I contacted them, received a canned response from the general manager, contacted the owner directly requesting a refund of reservation. NO RESPONSE. Choice Hotels Customer service was as helpful as they could be, but it's ultimately up to the owner to stand up and do the right thing. Wish I could give it a zero! read more
