I would have given this place a 5 star for our two night stay but it's in need of updating (for looks & safety) and the breakfast wasn't what I expected, but I tend to be very picky. Check in was efficient & friendly. They don't have a water refill station but do offer $1 bottled water and free ice onsite. Go to Joes Grocer 5 minutes down the road for cheap jugs of water. Our room was on the 2nd floor which wasn't an issue but the safety slip protectors were coming up on each stair and could cause a trip hazard. The room it's self is fine. Dated but clean and comfortable. Housekeeping came in to refresh towels, make the bed etc. As other reviewers have mentioned, the floor boards are very noises when you walk across the room. Also the clock made a strange noise so we unplugged it, the AC unit was terribly loud and the high pitched noise when we used the shower definitely woke us up! Breakfast was make your own waffles, white bread, English muffins, juice, coffee, sausage links, scrambled eggs, orange, apple, fruit loops, corn flakes and yogurt. Wish they had peanut butter or cream cheese and a heartier cereal option but again, I'm just picky. The dining area was clean, plenty of tables and lots of food options in general. The Wi-Fi was non existent most of our stay. And if you have AT&T - you're basically out of luck in Panguitch. This place is 2-3 star but if you're in need of a basic nights stay, this is a decent choice. read more

Easy check in. Lots of parking, right outside your room. Super cute saloon looking buildings. Rooms were clean. Big flat screen tv, refrigerator and microwave oven are always nice to have, the beds and pillows were comfortable. Price was reasonable. Great for just a night. Continental breakfast was basic and convenient, coffee not so great, but it's a Quality Inn! That being said, I give it 5 stars in the "budget motel category"! Looking for hotels near national parks can be stressful because they will either be super expensive or frighteningly dirty. This Quality Inn is about 25 mins from Bryce Canyon National Park and is a decent price. Here's the rundown: Check in: 5/5 stars. When we arrived at night, the check in host was very friendly and kind and explained where our room was located. Check in was quick and smooth. Parking: 5/5 stars. Free parking with plenty of spaces right outside the rooms. Overall room impression/cleanliness: 3/5 stars. Our room was on the second floor and there were only stairs so no elevators. Thank goodness for having a strong boyfriend! Upon first arriving to the room, my boyfriend spotted some cobwebs and tears in the wall, but we didn't spot any actual bugs. The room was overall clean in my opinion and didn't have any weird smells or any hints of cigarette smoke. Amenities: 5/5 stars. Has everything you need: soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. I needed extra conditioner, which was provided to me without any problem. They also offer toiletries if you forget any. I didn't utilize this service, but it's nice they offer. Wifi: 2/5 stars. Free Wifi here, but it's not fast so it may be worth it just to use your phone data if you have unlimited. Noise: 5/5. No issues here! Maybe our neighbors were just super respectful because I didn't hear any noise at all. Breakfast: 4.5/5 stars. After our recent hotel stay where they offered just toast and granola bars for breakfast, the breakfast here felt gourmet! It was a hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, and sausage. There were also mini muffins, English muffins, toast, cereal, yogurt, and fruit (apples and oranges). There was also coffee and juices. I was very impressed that they had two attendants to refill the food and keep the tables clean. Overall, I was pretty pleased with our stay in this Quality Inn. We always stay in hotels that are part of the Choice Hotels group. We were on a long drive home and after 9 hours arrived at the Quality Inn. From the outside it is not particularly impressive BUT the room was amazing. Very clean and well-equipped. Comfortable beds, very quiet and a great night's sleep. A lovely breakfast is served each morning and was very well-done with a wonderful selection of food items. A large room or an outside patio as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to you. read more

We wanted a motel that was near Bryce Canyon, and we got it! It was a very reasonable price, served an amazing breakfast (which was part of the price price of the motel), the room was large and had more than one chair, it was clean... Really quite a wonderful place to stay for a good price. If you are used to upscale posh hotels, this may not be your cup of tea, but I was delighted! And the staff was top-notch! Pinal (sp?) was hastily bringing more food out, because she was flooded with people leaving early to go into the national park. read more

This is such a cute motel! I loved the western theme! The hotel room was HUGE!! They even have a sofa and a glass coffee table on one side of the room! We got transferred here from another hotel and I feel like it was an upgrade. We're not picky , but we got a large room, with a TV, micro fridge, desk, armchair, a hot shower, and nightstands on both side of the bed. Is everything we needed after a couple long and cold hikes. We stayed here for two nights while visiting Bryce Canyon in the middle of April. The location is about 7 miles from Panguitch, UT and about 20 miles from the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. The hotel is by itself with no other amenities within a mile or two. The place did not appear to be very busy. The room was clean and comfortable, included a bed, couch, desk, refrigerator, microwave and free Wi-Fi. The rate was very reasonable, booked on choicehotels.com, about $70 per night including tax. The place also has a restaurant and bar which we did not try. We had read previous reviews that the free breakfast was really good, this was not our experience. The breakfast room had about 10 tables and was not very busy. Choices were limited and not very appetizing. There were two people attending, but we never saw them wipe off a table or chair. There was pre-cooked sausage, pre-cooked egg patties, a waffle iron with cold syrup, white bread, cold cereal, yogurt, orange flavored juice (not real OJ) and apple juice. We did not see any fruit, wheat bread or peanut butter. The breakfast was very basic, but not what we expected based on the reviews. Overall, this was a great stay for the value and away from the tourist area of Bryce City, but skip the free breakfast. For a 2-star place, it's exactly what we needed for a 1-night quick stay on our road trip. Definitely not a place you go for the "resort." Very old and had to use wood stairs to get to the 2nd floor. Let's start off by saying I let my wife book this hotel. She learned but we just had hiked Bryce all day and came to check in around 5. Manager is rude to say the least but we checked in got our key and parked close to our room. We get out and noticed this place is run down and had hardly anyone there. We get to the room, open the door and noticed a lot of unpleasant things. Stains on the walls, multiply flys in the room, latch on the door was broken, smelled gnarly, and the shower was unusable. Im sure the sheets were nasty but we didn't even think to look we knew right away we weren't staying. We sat on the bed for like ten minutes contemplating driving all the way back to California but instead drove to Vegas to stay with a relative. We walked back into the office to tell the manager we cannot stay in that room. Not only did he not ask why we didn't want to stay he immediately said "you're not getting a refund". We were so turned off by this that we didn't care we just left and lost $80. Don't ever stay here it's awful. Not to mention we contacted Expedia to see about getting a refund and he straight up lied and told them he asked why we didn't want to stay and said we just wanted to drive. Ya buddy I want to drive 3.5 hours to Vegas for the fun of it on our Babymoon when we were suppose to have another day at Bryce Canyon. The location is great (close to Bryce Canyon), and the way the hotel is set up as multiple different cabin-like buildings makes it feel like a resort or a wilderness retreat. I came in the winter, and the heater in our room was already set to a great temperature, so we had no trouble staying warm at night. In the morning, there was a beautiful sunrise right outside our door, and then we went up into the breakfast building which had various things to eat, including hot eggs. read more

I wish I could've seen this lodge with snow, definitely wouldn't been a sight! Utah is written all over this lodge, from it's rustic design to the names of each building. It is in a pretty remote area, but not a bad drive up to Bryce. Check in is available all day, as we checked in at 2am. The floors for the porch and rooms are squeaky, so you can hear other guests walk around. The room is a generous size, which had a lovely hidden room for the sink while the restroom/shower stayed separate. Although we didn't utilize the desk chair, I would have been happy to have taken the chair home with me for it was surprisingly comfy and plush. A few elements which lowered the rating: The carpet in the corner of the room was ripped up and you could see the strings; Shower curtain was wrinkled; towels in the restroom were sulked over; plungers were sitting on the porch tucked away in the corner. The outlet in the corner was very loose so my charger kept slipping out. Breakfast included items such as two different brands of yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and other items you usually come across at motels. The egg patties were weird in a bad way, but edible. You may sit inside or on the patio that is entitled to a beautiful view of the green hills around you. read more

Hotel room is fine, staff aren't the best. Came on a business trip which my job was paying for me to stay. The hotel wouldn't use the card on file (business card) because it wasn't present. So I used my personal not a big deal because my job will reimburse with a check out receipt. Well I go to check out and the lady said " my manager isn't here so I can print you a receipt, give me your email and we will email it to you." Such a nice little spot! Several buildings to stay in with cowboy themed names, being a life lifelong Elway Fan I wished I could've stayed in the Bronco building but due to the damn Covid it was closed. Rooms were extremely clean, air-conditioning system worked perfectly, and the front desk staff was extremely accommodating and friendly! Best sleep I've ever had in a hotel room! Great pillows, firm medium and soft! No stairs in most buildings for seniors to worry about, and I recommend this highly to anyone visiting the beautiful Bryce area. (See also my review of the cowboy smokehouse restaurant on Main Street a couple miles away. Certainly worth visiting there also!) Unfortunately due to Covid the restaurant on site was closed, but they still offered a continental breakfast for visitors. Nothing fancy but a perfectly fine place to stay outside of the Bryce Canyon area. Clean and that's really what is most important to me. Simple breakfast in the morning-the waffles and sausages are good. Beds are memory foam and I felt they were very comfortable. We compared near by hotels before coming in to Panguitch. We were going to stay at the Rodeway Inn since it was the cheapest. Then once we got there we decide it would be better to go to the Quality Inn for $30 more. We got free breakfast, better room, and even a better view! Tony at the register is nice and friendly, granted my request bottom room facing the mountain, room is spacious, queen sized bed, good cable channels, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair blower, spacious luggage compartment, good ac, has ceiling fan, lots of power outlets, 20 minutes away from Bryce Canyon. On our way back to the hotel we stopped by for to go Subway sandwich and potato soup dinner inside our room. Definitely we will be back again. read more

This place is rustic and has a small town feel within the hotel, because all the building's are the hotel, no town near it. Got to stay in the first building across the parking from the Office and had a room facing the highway. The sign in was a breeze and guy pointed us where to enter when we wanted breakfast the next day, we never tried it, we choose to sleep in. The room was very spacious, large bed, small seating area, tv, microwave and fridge. Bathroom shower looked beat, don't want to know what went on but I would say a very large battle with swords happen there. Closet and sink were located in their own area which was nice but no door for privacy. Stood here one night and it was worth every penny, close to Bryce National Park which was where I went for the day. read more

1 Star is for the how clean and comfortable the rooms itself are. But that's all I can give you Quality Inn Bryce Canyon. I have stayed at a number of chain hotels that offer breakfast. Even if it's just toast coffee and fruit, it's usually good enough to hold you over. But this place should not even offer breakfast. The breakfast here is literally dog shit. The sausage is really low quality, the egg patties are the same, the milk was warm, the coffee was terrible and not even caffeinated so there's no point in forcing it down, even the fruit was rotten!! The worse complimentary hotel breakfast experience ever!! Also, the toilet broke and stopped flushing in our room on night 2. When I went to the hotel lobby the next morning to use the restroom, the restroom down there was disgustingly dirty. It reeked like pee. It also stinks down there in the lobby area in general. Just outside the National Park and about 6 miles outside of the little town of Panguitch, this hotel is a good value with a park-in-front style rooms in wooden western-style buildings. The staff is friendly and check in went smooth. The room is a little dated, but the a/c worked, the bed was comfy and the room was very clean. Note that the restaurant there is now closed, but the space is used for a nice free breakfast in the morning. I would not hesitate to stay here again. read more

Just stay there for two nights in the Inn it's good, it looks exactly like the photo you see of the room. The owners take care of the property the way you judge that is by the plumbing fixtures like the toilet and the bathtub are newer clean and work besides the rest of room is clean too! So if you want to save a little money stay there it's just one tier lower than the Best Western which is always booked in Bryce the good one not Ruby's. The only downside I had is that our fridge did not work so double-check that one right away as it was reported on one of the other reviews I saw somewhere else. My room was located in the Bronco area of the Inn at the very end of the property a good location. They also had free breakfast buffet included which wasn't a grab-and-go and that my 20-year-olds boys enjoyed and said it was good! Do yourself a favor go have lunch or dinner at the Cowboy Smoke & Steak House restaurant in Pangiutch its good too! I think the female owner at the Inn that night that helped us was helpful and courteous which is always a plus. read more

When we returned to our room later that first day, we noticed numerous flies coming from a huge gap in the light fixture in the bathroom! We battled flies during our entire two day stay. This room was a reasonable price for how close it was to Bryce Canyon! The beds were so comfortable! Sheets were clean, bathroom was clean and the room was spacious! The toilet and shower were separate from the sink so that's a plus. The only negative was the AC/Heating needs to be upgraded. It was really hard to keep a steady temperature and when you turn on the fan associated with the unit it made it difficult for me to sleep as I kept having to chug water, maybe it was spewing dust? The continental breakfast had a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, bread for toast, English muffins, reg muffins, apples and oranges, cereal, yogurt and more. First, the pictures online don't do it justice, so if you work for the hotel/own it, know of anyone employed by them, tell them to update their pictures online. We enjoyed our recent stay. 3 stars-meets expectations (which are set low.) The room was clean and smoke free. The bed was comfortable and I like that I can use all four pillows-not decorative with pillow cases. The tub did not drain, but we had unpacked and did not want the disturbance of a service call or potential room relocation. The toiletries were substandard for this level of accommodations in addition to the request that the quest come to the front desk if any were desired. Breakfast meet our expectations, but did not equal our previous night's at the same chain's accommodations. Hot breakfast available-school lunch quality with the addition of waffles and fruit topping. I was able to find packaged oatmeal and honey-no raisins or nuts and fresh fruit for a heart friendly option. Environmental considerations- I appreciate your considerations, but did not did not appreciate room service only every three day. I prefer to be given the option for fresh towels and a card to indicate sheets and/or a door tag indicating that room services is not needed. The refrigerator could be left off in consideration of energy conservation since our freezer was unusable due to excessive ice accumulation. read more
