Stayed for one night to visit Bryce Canyon during our family road trip. We were surprised by how charming this little cabin was. We liked it even better than the fancier hotel we stayed the night before. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and the food at the pizza place next door (owned by the same people) was delicious and very reasonably priced. The front desk is also a coffee shop that sells various breakfast items and snacks, which was very helpful for our early morning hike. The location was perfect, only 17 min drive from Bryce Canyon. We really enjoyed our stay there. Taking one star off because of the AC. It blasted the cold air directly to the bed next to it and there was no in between. We would either be freezing while the AC is on or unable to sleep due to the heat when it's off. It was hard to sleep through the night. read more

This is a lovely little gem about a 6-7 min drive to the Bryce Canyon sign. The rooms are so spacious, clean, and pretty. You get a microwave and a decent size fridge in the room. It helped to keep our hike snacks and drinks, and our leftover pizza from the Pizza Place next door. And it's next to the Ppst Office to mail off you travel postcards, and a store in case you may need anything. The office also doubles as a cafe in the morning. While this place really gave us a good impression with clean rooms and nice area when we arrived however it didn't last through the entire of our stay. The first morning after our check in we heard some noises right outside our cabin and woke up our kids but that wasn't a really big issue. However the second morning there were loud heavy machinery noises driving back and forth right in front of the cabin and workers talking loudly and the entire area was really dusty. The biggest problem is there wasn't any heads up upon check in about the road resurfacing. When we informed the front desk she wasn't very apologetic and show no sign of empathy when I told her they should have moved us to other cabins on the other side when we checked in. I don't usually leave reviews in yelp but we really think they should have the curtesy to informed us about the potential inconveniences and moved us to other cabins if they knew about the road resurfacing right in front of our cabin. read more

LIARS & CHEATS !!!..Made a reservation several months in advance for May 14th. Arrived to find they had no electricity: NO LIGHTS, NO TV, NO INTERNET, NO RESTAURANT, NOTHING. I wanted a refund, since they could not provide the service promised. The Clerk put me on the phone with the owner who told me & the clerk they would refund my payment. I never received the credit & called them 2 weeks later. The clerk told me the owner would not refund my payment because "I should have stayed" despite what she had told me on the phone !!! My favorite accommodation on our 9-day trip to Bryce, Zion, and Grand Canyon National Parks. It's a quick 15-20 minute drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. The spacious log cabin was immaculate, comfy and cozy with a view of the red rocks from our small porch, equipped with table and chairs. There was a spacious refrigerator and powerful microwave. The laundromat about a block or so away was convenient. I really have no complaints except it would be nice to include a complimentary cup of coffee from the coffee shop attached to the hotel. read more

My family recently stayed in two of the deluxe cabins. Seven adults and three toddlers. If I could rate the accommodations a 10 out of a 10 I would!! What beautiful, spacious, and comfy cabins. Two bedrooms one with a king sized bed private bath, the other with two queens and it's own private bath amazing amount of room. Each cabin had a spacious family area with a gas fireplace, large recliner and large reclining couch!! Cabins are super cozy and the beds are so soft. It's nice that they are separate units so you cannot hear neighbors at all. We slept soooo well. The little cafe where you check in has excellent grab and go hot or cold snacks and coffee/espresso for the morning. Very friendly staff. We loved our stay here and are so happy to have found it. Recommend taking the highway 12 loop if you have time. Totally worth the extra drive and absolutely beautiful and unique. read more

Its cheap ($90 plus tax for double queens off season), rustic mountain feel with wood beams. Very clean amd cozy. Great little coffee shop attached. The pizza shop they run is really terrific! Great sweet crust and lots of pies. You can cork the wine amd take back to your room. Id stay again. read more

Small rooms, but fantastic stay overall. We stayed in the king room, it was not a tremendous amount of space but considering we were in the park most of the time it didn't matter. I have to brag about their AMAZING coffee at their coffee shop which is where you check in. It was so fantastic, I was stunned! Have the availability to that level of coffee, one minute walk from my room before 8am is priceless in my world. We got bagels and pastries for breakfast before hitting the park too. It's a small drive to Bryce Canyon from the inn, about ten minutes or so, and the drive was beautiful and peaceful. We had some awesome food spots all within a mile from where we stayed so I would definitely recommend this place if staying near Bryce. The small homes/cabins that they have available looked incredibly charming, new and spacious, and if we had more than just the two of us I would rent that space out. read more

The Bryce Canyon Inn made for a nice and memorable experience. Each "room" is actually a private cabin. Ours was in like-new condition and everything inside was in good working order. Our room was clean and quiet and comfortable. The only true down side to this stay was that there was no workable internet to allow for use of our cell phone AND the hotel's wifi was super, super slow. read more

We stayed in one of the Family cabins. Overall it was fine given the lack of options in the area, but compared to places in more populated towns I didn't love it. Pros: all of the lamps have outlets on them, so it was very easy to charge phones. There is a TV in the living area, as well as in the bedrooms. Cons: Wifi was painfully slow and almost unusable at times. I have T-Mobile and was on roaming data in Tropic, so it was pretty annoying to deal with lack of WiFi as well. Also, something (maybe the water heater?) was making a lot of noise whenever water was running in the cabin, which can be disturbing to light sleepers if someone else is showering/using water at night. The bathroom in the second bedroom was extremely small - the sink area is not walled off from the bedroom, and the part behind the bathroom door fits a toilet and shower - barely. read more

Great stay at the Bryce Canyon Inn. It's tough because we like to stay at chains so we know what to expect. This place was adorable, we stayed in a nice little log cabin. The bathroom was super clean and the room itself was clean too. The lady up front checking us in was super nice. You check in at the coffee shop because the inn also runs the coffee shop and pizza restaurant. The TV in the room was very clear too. This review is for the motel rooms (NOT the cabins) at this place. We stayed here for a night as we were visiting BCNP. When we booked the room, I only saw pics for the cabins and didn't understand that I was getting something much different. I saw the pic of two beds but didn't realize our room was in a separate building away from the cabins. The room was very small, did not have a fridge or microwave, and had a very, very small counter and area to get ready. My daughter and I had to take turns using the space. The room was expensive for what we got. The room was one of 4 in a small building on the back side of the property. The building backed up to a side street and a house and it felt a little on the sketchy side. The room was also pretty musty smelling. Since we were on the ground floor and travelling by ourselves I was reluctant to keep the window open at night. The shower went from scalding hot to ice cold at least 8 times while I took a shower and no one was flushing a toilet in our room. The beds were pretty hard and not real comfortable. The room was clean and quiet enough. The town of Tropic has a store, gas station, and pizza place - that is about it. It is about 8-10 minutes past Bryce Canyon. If we were to stay in Tropic again, we would definitely choose the cabins. I would suggest just staying in the Bryce Village area where there is a tad more to do. read more

We spent one night in one of the cabins. It was very nice and cozy. Very comfortable bed. The biggest plus is they have a couple of Tesla chargers on the premises. We were cutting it real close on our battery charge. I guess I miscalculated the distance between Page, Arizona and St George, Utah. So this really saved our butts. read more

To be honest I booked 2 nights at Bryce Canyon Inn because the hotels at the entrance of the park were all sold out. But I didn't regret it! What a wonderful place to stay! And way less expensive than the hotels at the entrance of the park. They have rooms and cabins. I booked a cabin and it was large, very nice with wood paneled walls, and with a fridge and a microwave. The continental breakfast is included, and you have free WiFi. Some cabins are located very close to the main road, but there is almost no traffic at night so no problem. There is a pizzeria, a restaurant and a grocery store just next to the cabins. From the cabin to the entrance of the park it's a 10 minute drive, which can be considered as the only downside. Also maybe this road would probably make some people feel unsafe at night since there's no lights, but otherwise it's fine. read more

We stayed in a double queen cabin. The vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan were a big plus. The cabin floor actually sloped just a bit which we found interesting. The unit was clean. My wife lost a chain which the housekeeping person found - thanks again. This is not a fancy inn but the value for the money ($109/night) is excellent. Breakfast is basic (4 cereals, yogurt, English muffin, mini bagels, milk, Apple and orange juice, bananas, apples and oranges. The employees provided excellent information and even recommended a place to have my eyeglasses repaired. This is super service. It was handy to park at the door. Additionally, the room had a built in bottle opener near the sink. The two outside chairs were comfortable - perfect for enjoying the cool dry air. Unfortunately, the two inside wood chairs were extremely uncomfortable. The short drive to Bryce is no big deal and you have the benefit of not being near the congestion at Rubys. read more

Sadly, I can only give the hotel portion of this establishment a 2 star rating. We booked into the motor inn section, not a cabin, so my expectations were tempered. We were arriving later in the evening and leaving early the next morning. We expected/needed nothing more than a clean/comfy spot to crash for the night. Check-in was a breeze and the office was open until 9pm. They appeared to have a system for late check-in as well. Check-out was also easy and they serve breakfast and coffee in the office, which is perfect. The room leaves something to be desired. My main complaint was that the room smelled. At first we thought a skunk was outside. It may have been that someone was smoking pot in an adjacent room. But, we think it was the AC. When we turned off the AC unit, the smell dissipated somewhat. The water also smelled strongly of sulfur. So we brushed our teeth with bottled water and avoided showering in the room. Overall, the room was clean and had been recently updated. The door to the bathroom was a bit difficult to close-- but not a huge deal. Between the skunky smell and the stinky water, we just weren't comfy in this room and I can't give it more than 2 stars, though our stay was otherwise fine. read more

A quaint series of prefabricated cabins in an otherwise unremarkable town. It's about 15 minutes from the hotel to the main gate of Bryce, which was our reason for selecting it. I was a little freaked out when we first arrived since the two chairs and table for our room were on top of the bed when we first entered, hopefully this was just an error on the part of housekeeping, but it was a little jarring as a first impression. The staff was nice and offered suggestions for dining. No free breakfast, which seems a little unusual for this size hotel. No pool. Rooms were small, but comfy. No laundry onsite. No real view to speak of. It was nice and quiet, walking distance from restaurants. I guess for the price I just expected a little more than we got. The Mossy Cave hike is between Tropic and Bryce, I highly recommend this hike even to non-hikers! read more

it is all about expectation management. It is an old facility. rate is affordable. sheets looked clean. Sticky carpet and dusty drapery definitely need to be replaced. We have been in Utah for over a week now and stayed in 6 different places and the BCI was by far the beat! The woman who operates the Inn is amazing, hard working knowledgeable and kind! We stayed at Bryce Canyon Inn for 4 nights and hiked Bryce and Zion. We were very impressed with the cabins! They were very clean, quiet and comfortable. The cabins had all the amenities we needed after a long day of hiking - microwave, mini fridge, a small seating area inside as well as patio chairs outside. There is also a cute coffee shop with fresh pastries at the Inn which was convenient! The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. I would highly recommend staying here if you are heading to Bryce Canyon. If you do stay here - be sure to check out Stone Hearth Grille for dinner. We were very happy with this place! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. All the rooms are simple, individual cabins but have all the amenities you could need. Heating and cooling worked well, the tv was big and had a complete list of channels, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was cozy and perfect for use after a day of hiking. Microwave, small fridge, small table and seating area, and even a front patio with chairs was included. The inn also has the town's only coffee shop attached to it which is definitely a plus! The caretakers are very friendly and of course Bryce Canyon is only a 15 min drive away. We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are little cabins, which is great if you have kids ( don't have to worry about shared walls and them being too loud.) each room has a fridge a little table that was great for breakfast, and a little porch so you can sit out front. The pizza place ( aka the best restaurant in town) is part of the property. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The office is also the town coffee shop which is amazingly awesome. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. It's a short drive into the park. There is a market next door where you can buy breakfast or lunch supplies. It was perfect! After being in our cabin at Bryce Canyon Inn we were sooo thankful we didn't choose Ruby's Inn or one of the other chain hotels closer to the park. So crowded and cheesy. Tropic is a quaint little town. We had a great time. read more
