Please do not stay here. We left after being here for an hour. The hotel is extremely run down. Our room smelled of bleach, the entire rug was damp, the bathroom floor was wet. The AC made the room smell like mildew on top of the bleach. We found a dirty pair of underwear under our bed. We packed up and kept driving. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This hotel is absolutely nasty. We checked into the hotel after a long day at the Big E so we were tired and ready for bed by the time we got here! We got to our room and noticed bugs crawling all over the place -- on the floor, up the walls, in the night stand drawers. We ended up getting our money back and ultimately had to drive all the way back home (3 hour drive) at 10pm because no other hotels had availability in the surrounding area. I'm so sorry I booked a reservation at this dump. As soon as I drove up to the property I new I was doomed. The property is off the road behind a Denny's and looks like an abandoned truck stop. In fact, there are several abandoned vehicles on the premises. Overall, the outside looks like a Section 8 housing palace. The carpets and furniture all have body fluid stains everywhere. Disgusting. The rooms are old, dusty, & musty. The bathroom had stains everywhere including on the toilet bowl seat. I could not sleep because of the musty, moldy smell. My daughter and I came to the Quality Inn in Chicopee. She likes staying there when she has the need every month. I got up and left my daughter sleeping. When I came back from getting coffee, I realized that I couldn't remember my room #. I went up to the front desk to get my #.. At first she said I was room 235, so I'm walking around and go back but now we have quite an attitude and she says it's 234.. we were not on the 2nd floor! So I go back a third time and she said she couldn't find out names so, "she doesn't know what to tell you" I asked her name, which she said was Betsy. It may have been dumb to have forgotten my room # , bit we were on our way to the cemetery to visit my dead son..today is his birthday. I think you owe me and my daughter an apology... Invasive ID Requirements at Check-in and Lack of Safe Feeling In July 2019, I spent one night at the Quality Inn in Chicopee, MA. It was a layover during a long car trip. The staff member who checked me in asked for my credit card and driver's license. That seemed normal - to confirm my ID. However, she then photocopied my driver's license and kept the copy. This is the first time in decades of travel in various US cities and states that a hotel took a photo copy of my license. During my stay, I sent a linkedin message to a member of the hotel firm's executive leadership describing what happened and my concerns. I asked that they please let me know why the copy is needed? And, what is done with the copy after I check out? Is it kept on file? Discarded? If discarded, is it shredded or placed in a secure "to shred" bin? Overall, staff were nice. More than a month later, I have not received any response. I did talk with the desk staff at check out - and asked about the license photo copy. She said it's done for all quests. The staff member offered to give me back the photo copy of my license (which I took). She opened a desktop file drawer which had the same paperwork for the entire house. I don't mind showing my ID but who knows how many copies they make and with whom they shared that information. I made my reservation at the last minute so I had a limited number of hotels to book. In the past, I've stayed at Quality/Choice Inn hotels and felt they were decent and at a good price. Unfortunately, this was not the case in Chicopee. The other issue I have with this location is safety. I did not feel safe at the hotel right away and during the stay. I have stayed in many hotels - Choice and others and have rarely felt this way. Even in ones off the interstate and/or in industrial areas, as this hotel was situated. I hope my feedback - via this forum, and other follow ups with the hotel firm directly - serves to improve the experience and practices at this location. Final thoughts - old infrastructure, lots of steps, not many ramps. Not fully ADA compliant. If you have to stay here, ask for a room in the new portion of the building. read more

Came in here the night before going to the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks CT. I upgraded to an executive suite and it was well worth it. Nice big, plush bed, wide screen TV and fridge and microwave. Bathroom was well equipped and squeaky clean. It was all very nice. After a good nights sleep I had a very nice breakfast from the complimentary breakfast bar. read more

Stayed here one night on our way to Boston. I'm giving four stars because the room was clean, the breakfast was ample, and the guy at the check in desk was outstanding! He guessed who we were coming in the door, had us checked in efficiently and with such welcoming graciousness it made us feel better from the awful traffic and confusing way to get to the hotel. Which is not the hotel's fault. Getting off the highway isn't easy with one ways and back tracking. No gas stations in sight, so fill up at a travel plaza before or after Chicopee. There's a good restaurant a quick walk from the hotel called 99 Restaurants. Great service, great local craft beers. Overall, this is a decent place to stay on your way elsewhere. read more

Um it was pretty terrible. I mean if ALL you want is to be able to sleep in a bed, then this is your spot. if you want a clean bathroom, clean sheets, clean bed, clean walls, decent lighting, or an elevator in the hotel thennnnn this wont cut it. There was spit on the wall, someone elses hair on the floor in the bathroom, and a stain in the sheets just to say a few. I was so grossed out the entire time. Theres a super cheap Hilton branch hotel across the way and in general a bunch of hotels around, this does not have to be your place. read more

Customer service beyond exceptional! Desk staff was great at taking care of elderly parent who had recently fallen. Family could not say enough about attention and care given to them, and for that we are very grateful. This was a big weekend for us and it was so important that our parents be treated well upon their early check-in. Great location. All six of us slept comfortably. No complaints about rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the area was clean and well stocked. SO thankful to Quality Inn for their part in making good memories for all of us! read more

Decent price and a decent room. Definitely better than a lot of other hotels hat I've stayed at while traveling. Easy access to local stores they are within walking distance. The bed was comfortable. However the pillows are like half pillows so it was an odd experience using them to get comfortable. Noise level is great. The only noise that I've heard is when a toilet flushes and you hear the pipes going. Access to the freeway is literally just down the road. There is a Friendlys literally right next door as well as a Dennys and then a Buffalo Wild Wings across the street. Having a Walmart near by was convenient because you do get a microwave and fridge in your room. Overall it's been a pleasant experience. read more

I stay here one night a year with my mother and grandmother. The rooms are clean and much nicer to stay in once they got rid of the smoking ones. They provide free wifi by way of hotspot cards and they have a really nice continental breakfast (hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, coffee/tea, juice, sausage, bagels/toast/english muffins, and make your own waffles). The front desk staff is usually the same lady who comes off a little brash, but doesn't mean any harm. This hotel is no Beverly Hills Hilton, but it's a great place to rest your head if you're passing by. read more

Pimps & drug dealers in the parking lot, hallways with wallpaper torn off, missing trim pieces around the doors, stickers over the peep-holes, burn holes and stains in the bed-spreads. Sticky carpeting. Room smelled like several large wet dogs had lived there for weeks and only vacated minutes before we came in. We would have turned around immediately if there were any rooms available anywhere else, but we'd been looking since Schenectady, and we were on motorcycles or we'd have just slept in the car. Bad! First night I was there we found lil pieces of hair all over the bed. So we switch to a different room. 2nd room, we found a flea on our bed. We stayed cuz we killed that flea. We had another night there so after that night when we came back to our room after the cleaning lady have clean, she didn't even changed our sheets or pick up our towels in the bed room. I thought it was a decent hotel but now I will never be back again because they charged me an additional $200 and said that when you sign the paperwork that you agree to them charging you the $200, that they can charge it no matter what. So, the price they advertise, isn't the actual price they charge you for the room. They advertise a lower cost room but make up the difference with this trick. I had THE WORST experience here. My company put myself and 10 other people in this hotel starting July 31st and we are staying until September 5th. So, in short, this has been my home for 36 days and nights. I had my fridge stocked with drinks and food and my fiancé would bring me home cooked meals and Tupperware to keep in my room so I could heat up food. On occasion, the housekeepers would throw away my Tupperware. Yes, real, plastic Tupperware. I didn't swear it. They were just plastic. My fiancé also brought me paper plates to keep in my room (for microwaving) as well. Sometimes whole packages and piles of these would get thrown away by housekeeping. Again, I didn't sweat it. I thought "no big deal, I'm at a hotel that serves breakfast, I'm sure if I really NEEDED a plate I could get one". WRONG. Apparently this hotel is not lucrative enough to share its plates. One night, I went down into the breakfast room to grab a plate so I could heat up some food my fiancé had brought me and I was swiftly followed in and accosted and treated like a criminal who was stealing out of the cash register. I explained to the night guest worker that I simply needed some microwaveable plates because housekeeping had tossed mine and he was very sarcastic with me. The second time I went down to the front desk needing plates was because housekeeping has AGAIN thrown mine away, the front desk gave me a pile of plates that a pizza guy had left behind (FOR ME). I had ordered pizza for myself and my 10 coworkers the night before and the pizza guy never brought the plates we asked for. He finally brought them to the front desk at 1AM along with my CC receipt. So that was incident # 2 that I needed plates and they just passed along the plates left behind for me by the pizza guy who delivered the pizza we ordered the night before. Now, today, after a 13 hour workday and having not eaten a bite all day, I was looking forward to getting into my hotel room and heating up some food my fiancé had brought me yesterday. I stopped at the front desk on my way in and asked for a plate. I was greeted with the rude and inconsiderate response of : "no, you ask for plates every night and we can't keep giving our plates away. Those cost the hotel money" EVERY NIGHT?? Yes, the front desk guy BRIAN argued with me that I come down and ask for plates EVERY NIGHT when indeed it had only been the third time in 29 days. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that there would be one in at 7AM. Finally after 30 minutes of straight out fighting with BRIAN he brought me one styrofoam plate. I felt like a little kid on candy ration. Plus, You can't microwave styrofoam. Really? My company has spent a FORTUNE housing 10+ people at this hotel for 36 days to get a new project off the ground, we've worked 28 days straight so far (including Sundays) and we have been working long 12+ hour days. I get treated rudely, my room hardly got cleaned the whole time I've been here, and BRIAN can't give me a paper plate? Horrible treatment of human beings and HORRIBLE customer service. read more

This hotel is the place where they will do anything to make money no matter how bad it ruins their reputation. 90% of the guest who stay here stay off of section 8. These are the guests who's family are there in the breakfast room in the morning stuffing their pockets with food that the other guest paid for by paying 100 dollars a night such as myself. These families are staying here for 600 a month. I came here to be close to the medical facility I manage. It makes it easier for me to provide support to these hospitals and my daughters. I bought my family here expecting what I paid for. My husband and my two infant daughters who were born prematurely had by far the worst experience ever. I made several complaints during my stay. Such as roaches crawling on the bed towards my daughters. And mold in the walls making it difficult for my daughters to breath. We were stuck in the middle of a snow storm so I called cooperate to complain and switch my room due to the safety hazards imposed on my daughters breathing, and they said they could not help me until I check out. I could not check out due to the snow storm but I need to ensure that someone is going to change my room before I extend my stay. They told me they couldn't do anything until I check out. Then the manager Natasha calls me during check out ready to help me with my issues. Thanks Natasha you were completely useless. She told me to hurry up and leave at 1 and hung up the phone when I told her why were you ignoring my complaints. Where were you at the start of the week when my daughter had trouble breathing because of failure to have ventilation in the room and the mold buildup. This place needs to be shut down immediately until someone comes and takes care of those imposing safety issues on the guest. The guest who actually bring this hotel income. Natasha good luck getting the employee of the year award. You are an embarrassment to customer service. I will be following up on this making sure this place gets reviewed. Families check in to places like this expecting a good stay. These are our families staying in these rooms. Then at the day of my original check out date they tell me I could not extend my stay because they had no rooms. I then went online to confirm that they had no availability and they had plenty of rooms. I told them what I found and they told me I don't know how you got a room, we are full. I even called two different 3rd party websites and they said they had plenty of rooms. I told the guy at the desk that I was ensured this extension at the middle of the week knowing there was going to be a snow storm. I was in shock that they would lie about there availability and send me and my family to drive 2 hrs in that storm. Luckily me and my family went to a much nicer hotel 5 minutes away. The last 10 min of check out one of the workers came to my room banging on the door telling me that it was almost time to leave, waking up the babies. Don't check in to this place, not a family hotel. The staff are always outside smoking on their phone. My husband told me one of them asked him for a lighter. I just don't know how this place is still open. read more
