We weren't sure what to think when we pulled up to the Quality Inn. The property is dated and has doors that open to the outside (as well as opening to interior hallways.) But as is often the case, the story of a business can be found in the quality of the manager. The manager here is exceptional. Helpful, considerate and super funny, he made for a terrific and hospitable stay. We were comfortable, slept well and felt safe. Came for a solo trip! Red flag number 1 is when I checked in, I was given the key card with the room number written down but then the worker behind the counter verbally told me the room number out loud! Major no no especially being a solo female traveler and other people in the waiting area listening! When I got to my room, I noticed the bathroom sink took a long time to drain! Had to have maintenance come a few times the first night and the following morning! Thankfully it got fixed but a major inconvenience This place is really run down and could use a good scrub down! Visited from Fall River, Mass for a concert. The manager made a special accommodation for our dog which I hadn't mentioned during my booking as it wasn't an option on Expedia, but because it was listed as pet friendly I didn't think twice about bringing her. He moved some things around even though they were fully booked and was able to accommodate us without issue. He was kind and understanding which I very much appreciated. The room was decent, typical hotel you'd expect, it was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and the free breakfast was an added bonus. Highly recommended. A good amount of the staff was rude during our trip. They gave a lot of attitude. Our room had torn curtains. One of the blankets on the bed had a yellow stain on it. The a/c also made funny sounds. The freezer of the mini fridge was dirty when we arrived. The microwave looks like it has a cigarette burn on it too... A male staff member told me that my 8 month old daughter can't go into the pool (even with a swimming diaper on), even though none of the signs in the pool area state that. Oh also, if you rent a room here and want to use the pool, you need wrist bands to let the staff know you're a guest here (but the front desk people didn't mention that). Good luck is you rent a room here. I don't recommend it. Wish my family could get our money back. We will never come back to this place. One of the other hotel guest here told me that she has been complaining to the staff that her room's shower/tub has a leak for three days and they haven't done anything to fix it. read more

The Quality part of this hotel is a stretch. Honestly, this place is crap. It's a crumbling mess. Mismatched furniture, scratched paint, paper thin walls, a dead fly in the mini fridge and a shockingly loud heater. Two stars for a comfortable bed with clean sheets and a good sized room, even if it is shoddy. Added: props to them for reaching out to me. As fast as the wind can carry, we drove from Springfield, VT to Westfield, MA on the I-91 heading south, then I-90 west. This was getting exciting, since it was soon to be day 4 in western Massachusetts in that New England Challenge of marathons / half marathons I was in the area for. It was tiring yet exciting. The Quality Inn here in Westfield, Massachusetts was a place where we could just hang out and have fun. My group of friends and I stayed here for a night before moving onto the next state of Connecticut. It was nothing fancy, but it was comforting and clean without the fuss. We arrived here on a nice Wednesday afternoon in May 2019 around 3:45pm. Eager to relax after spending the morning running in Springfield, Vermont, we checked in fairly quickly and basically sprawled on the beds contemplating our dinner plans that night. We are grateful to the staff that we could split the hotel room cost to separate credit cards upon check out. I didn't realize this since I usually travel alone to these things. It was a first for me and thankful the staff at the Quality Inn could do that. The Quality Inn is a nice hotel brand that seems to do everything. From a swimming pool to a business center, you can have it all without the bells and whistles. You can live large fairly cheaply here too, although my definition of cheap may not be $120/night, but it is what it is. I did enjoy my stay here with friends. It was cool. The overall experience here at this Quality Inn hotel in Westfield, Massachusetts was nice, casual, and quaint. We had our 8 hour sleeps before waking up at 4:30am to do our thing at 6am at Stanley Park nearby. This Quality Inn is located at 2 Southamption Road in Westfield, MA. As mentioned before, they accept major credit cards, as well as debit cards and cash too. For anyone and everyone who comes through the area, best bet would be to come in a private or rented vehicle. I'm not sure if Westfield, MA does have public transportation in the area. Even if Uber or Lyft is viable, you're looking at 20 miles from the Hartford, CT airport to get here. Best bet would be to rent a car if you don't have one to get here and see the sights in the area without spending too much on transportation. For the most part though, this one night stay here at this Quality Inn Westfield MA was as nice as it can be. We swam in the pool to help our legs recover and enjoy the travel life. The check in and out service was good, friendly, and professional. It was quick. While we didn't have a chance to partake in the hot complimentary breakfast, I'm sure it was pretty awesome. For the most part though, this stay at this Quality Inn here in Westfield, MA fit the bill. The room itself was stereotypical of what most regular hotel rooms look like. We got 2 double beds and everything worked okay in the room. Didn't use the television too much during my stay. Didn't really use the hotel wifi either, although I think one of my friends had to hook up to her laptop for work. The bed itself was comfortable enough and enjoyed the sleep that greeted me that night in western Massachusetts. The room was clean and our room was on the first floor, so we didn't have to go up and down stairs. Can't complain too much though. It was a solid stay. If anyone is coming through the area and needs a place to rest their head, consider coming to this Quality Inn in Westfield, Massachusetts. It's definitely not the Hilton or Sheraton, but it'll get the job done at an affordable price point you can live with. Beds were comfortable and clean. Room was big enough to fit 2 queen size beds, desk, 2 side tables, tv table, and 2 chairs. Has a balcony (but not much of a view). There is a small outdoor pool. Complementary breakfast had a small variety of hot and cold food. The room was small, but clean and bright. Staff was pleasant and nice. Friendly's and Wendy's within walking distance. read more

This past weekend was the annual Consignment Trip Shopping weekend. (There were 5 women) We'd stayed here for 5 years prior to COVID. It was never top shelf but this year was different! We requested adjoining rooms but received room next to each other but not adjoining, so back to the front desk. That was fixed! Our room had a moldy shower curtain, filthy rung but the worst was the bathtub! It had a plastic liner put in and it wasn't sealed properly so while you were showering it was like standing on a water bed! I almost fell out of the tub! The adjourning room had a chair that had been used as a scratching post by a cat. Filthy rug & clean but stained towels. The stairway rugs were beyond filthy & had holes, the crushed cookie was there from arrival on Friday to check out on Sun. In addition, the "breakfast" was deplorable, (sour waffles, weak coffee, inedible eggs). The topper was when we realized on Sunday that the back door from the parking lot had not been locked since our arrival! Apparently hotel management had started a partnership with Hotel Tonight but didn't bother to roll out to their staff how to manage those reservations. So lucky me, I showed up at 10:30pm to check in, and had to work for the next 40 minutes with the front desk as he figured out what to do. I wasn't showing up on the arrival system, and so the front desk guy didn't believe i had a reservation. even though i showed him my Hotel Tonight confirmation, HT customer service called him to tell him that i had booked and paid for a room, AND HT faxed him paperwork confirming my booking. Even more infuriating, front desk guy told me he was taking my credit card for incidentals, and asked me to sign a paper confirming my room rate. i did not sign it, i wrote instead that i didn't approve him charging my card because this reservation was pre-paid. I found out in the morning that in fact he did charge my card anyway for an amount that he knew I had already paid to HT. The manager treated it like it was no big deal, that he reversed the charge and it was done - but he had no business charging my card! read more

For its class of hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Normally for Westfield trips I book the HIE or Springfield in Windsor Locks, but I gave this one a chance and I'm glad I did. Mind you, it's nothing at all fancy. It simply gets the job done admirably. Very fast and friendly check-in. Super clean. Comfy bed. Clean bathroom. Major major bonus to find they have fridges in all their rooms - I always travel with food and this can be a hassle. They email the receipt (I need them for work) which is super convenient. Wifi was TERRIBLE though - don't count on it. Not sure where they're hiding the ice machine, didn't see it on a map & nowhere to be found on the second floor. Prob the lobby but I didn't venture down to look. Didn't do breakfast there so no comment. read more

We had a great stay at the Quality Inn Westfield! My family and I were in town for the annual regional convention of Jehovah's Witnesses and this hotel took such good care of us. The kids loved the cookies in the lobby and we all enjoyed the free breakfast. The rooms were modest but clean. We'd use this hotel again in a heartbeat. read more

No complaints the first few times we stayed at this hotel. However, our last stay was very disappointing. First of all, we were locked out of the hotel our second night. When we approached the front desk to explain what happened, we were accused of putting our room card next to our phones. When in fact, my card was in my bag and my husband had his card in his wallet. Both cards were no where near our phones the entire day. Then the man explained to us that when we checked in, it looked as though we were staying for one night when we booked for 3 nights. No apology for blaming us on the phone issue. When we entered the room, the trash was full and the bed was not made. The third night we returned to the room, the trash was overflowing at this point and again the bed was not made. In addition, we were never stocked with facial tissue and the room had an unpleasant smell the entire stay. Both nights we were completely exhausted and just wanted to go to bed, so we never addressed the issue. In the past we never had any complaints, but basic tasks were always taken care of and staff was friendly. We will be choosing alternate accommodations next time we visit the area. read more

At first I thought it wasn't going to be half bad .. that the good deal I got was actually a score .. and then I found the pillow with blood stain and the shower with the left over hairs !! Clearly not cleaned. The housekeeping staff should spend some more time doing their job instead of yelling up and down the halls to each other about the door stopper at 8:05 in the morning so you can't sleep if you wanted to!! We went to the Equine Affaire and thought we would make a mini Vaca out of it. At first glance everything looks good, checked for bed bugs with a flashlight CLEAR. But...... behind the bed had not been cleaned in a while. The outlets near bed had a 1/4 in of dust on them, mold around faucet handle in shower as well as along seams and a brown finger print near toilet paper, I assumes what was on the finger. The bathroom issues I didn't see until the morning. On a positive note, sheets and pillows clean and comfortable. read more

Don't be fooled by the great looking front office, the actual rooms are old an out of date. The beds are old and hard(sit anywhere on the bed and the whole bed moves), the dresser legs were loose and almost fell out with just a few light objects on it(super easy to fix if the owners cared at all). If the price was $60-80 per night this would be fine. This hotel is WAY OVER priced for its current condition. read more
