I'm currently staying at the hotel and from the reviews I was not expecting much but,to the contrary, the front desk lady was nice, the room is clean and the beds are comfortable. stayed there the weekend of Jan 16th/Jan 17th 2026. The person in the room next to me kept the TV on max volume as well as their music. The walls of my room were vibrating from the bass. I complained to management and the next night was just as bad. Couldn't sleep so left for home at 0300. read more

Honestly, I got what I paid for here. When I went to check in, I had to wait 10 minutes for the clerk to finish up a phone call to someone who she wanted to deliver a package to her at the hotel. She misspelled Hackettstown while talking to them. I don't know why she didn't just ask them to hold for the literally 3 minutes it took to check me in once she finished her call. Instead, I was left standing at the desk holding my bags without even a "hello." Being assigned the room next to the elevator had some immediate tip-offs that it wouldn't be great. For one, the room number was a taped-on piece of paper. The door to my room was immediately adjacent to the elevator door. Surprisingly, the mechanical elevator noise was almost nonexistent. What wasn't nonexistent was the constant noise of people loudly gabbing from 6:30 AM until 9:00 AM as they walked down the hall and stood right outside my door waiting on the elevator to go get the hotel breakfast. Who wakes up and is talkative at 6:30 AM on a weekend? Stay in bed or shut up, you absolute monsters. The breakfast was fine with a decent selection of breads for toast. There was a waffle batter dispenser and a waffle iron, but I have no idea how anyone was meant to transfer the batter to the iron. It would have been nice if the room had been fully stocked with paper products. They only gave me barely a roll and a half of toilet paper for all four days, so I had to go to the desk to beg for more. Not very dignified nor quality. The room's heater only had the option to be on full-blast or off, with mediocre heating even fully turned to hot so I had to choose between heat and cold when the days were sweater weather and there was the hint of frost at night. A quiet room with decent climate control would've been nice. I guess I got what I paid for. read more

The walls are thin and I can hear the people in the next room having loud conversations. Also can hear and feel the vibrations of something loud, not sure what it is or where it's coming from -Music I assume. The air conditioner is on full blast but the room is still too warm (and it isn't a hot night). There is no rod to hang clothes in the closet (we are in town for a wedding, would like to hang my dress in a closet). The bathroom has no exhaust fan and the shower area has no lighting. The carpet is stained and the AC/Heater is gross (see photo). I'm a smoker and even at midnight, the front door of hotel doesn't stay locked - I would prefer to have to use my key card to unlock and get back in - and no one was at front desk. Sink is dripping. I will say, the linens are soft and pillows and mattress above average. Anyway, I'm glad to only be here one night, whew! read more

The lady at the front desk was pleasant. She was the only good thing about the hotel The room was awful. The mattress was as hard as a rock. The bathroom had old caulk spread on the counter. No carpet on the floor, LVP is O.K. but too cold . Breakfast was a joke, Cold cereal, tiny muffins and waffles. Coffee out of a machine. We will never stay there again. read more

The only upside was the bed was comfortable. Mold on the toilet seats the closet doors didn't open to get to the iron. The non smoking room still had a scent of smoking so clearly they never stripped the paint off to re paint from when they converted the property to all non smoking. Just really poor maintenance. read more

With a room block for a wedding the hotel managed to give away rooms to persons with the wedding party had to stay elsewhere... including the brother of the groom. Excuses and no effort was made to reconcile the error only when the mother of the bride laid into them which should not have gotten that far. The rooms were nice which I only know because I got to hang out in one after driving to it from another town. read more

Zero would have been a better rating. Room rate waaaay too high for what they are offering. Black mold around the shower head, a/c could not be regulated....wound up shutting it totally off. No carafe in the bathroom to make morning coffee. Tv would only work after the front desk dude wound up swapping the remote from another room. Some serious drain maint. is needed. Not only did my sink overflow brushing my teeth....but the shower had me in standing water from excess hair and soap. The owner/manager seems not to care enough to even respond here...that shows me they really don't care. I was told the entire motel was newly renovated....maybe...but the sure missed my room. The continental breakfast was pitiful as well. Avoid this place like the plague. Wish I had. read more

Stay away from the place. As soon as we got here my girlfriend and I was impressed with the lobby. However, when we got to the first room the closet door was knocked off the track and the marble sink face was laying on the floor broken. We went back to customer service who then put us in a different room. When we arrived at that room we noticed mold on the wall. Since it was late and we were exhausted we stayed there for the night. We both ended up sick. Do not stay here take your business elsewhere. read more

Idk why this hotel doesn't have a higher rating. Rooms were very clean, great mattresses, good sized tv with a lot of channels. Decent breakfast, hot water and did I mention it was clean? Honestly for the money I don't think you can beat this Quality Inn. read more

So I stayed at this "hotel" for 26 nights and not once did a hooker knock on my door. I had a stash of cream cheese and everything!!! I had way too much dental floss for this adventure. I really wish the receptionist would have snuggled me. Im lonely. Anyway 10/10 worst weeks of my life. Would give no stars if possible. My wife who is disabled reserved a handicapped accessible room for last Friday 3/2/18 night on the website. When we arrived, we were told that they did not have the accessible room ready and that they have no record of us reserving a handicap accessible room, which was patently false. There was zero empathy and both the front desk person and manager were both unfriendly, displayed horrible non existent customer service skills, blamed us for their mix up and showed no willingness to help us in any way. My wife is wheelchair bound and I had to manually lift her legs over the edge of the tub and sit her down on a garbage can so that she wouldn't fall during bathing. At my request for some amt of compensation, we were were given 40% off the room rate, but in retrospect we should have been comped for the full amount because we were not given the handicapped accessible room as reserved. If you are disabled or have a family member who is disabled-do not use this hotel. Based on our experience, they could have cared less.. My wife also called corporate to lodge a complaint and all they offered besides a canned apology was 1000 points toward our next stay which we will not likely use or stay at another Choice hotel. read more

This place is a waste of money and should be closed, by the board of health. We had a reservation, and check -in was at 3 pm. The desk clerk, not a happy camper told us our room was not ready yet, it was 2:55pm. The housekeeper was called, and the desk clerk told her to have our room ready in 20 minutes, she replied not in 20 minutes. The desk clerk said they were very busy, the night before, however that place resembled a ghost town, not buying his explanation. They gave us another room and the door handle was very loose, tv not working, so back to the front desk. Gave us a bigger room with a hot tub in it, for the same price. The hot tub didn't work and the paneling was falling off. The refrigerator was not working, the wallpaper was patched, the floor in the bathroom very discolored, curtains not pressed,rug dirty and the bed ensemble very worn. Went down for breakfast and BIG disappointment. No eggs or hot prepared stuff. No employee there to help you in any way...no GOOD-Morning, not inviting at all....Coffee horrible and the creamers not in ice, hot. Not healthy at all, looked like that food was there all week. The front desk does not know the area, asked about a restaurant, all he could recommend was Dominos or Taco Bell. The restaurant we asked about was right across the road, but he didn't know. He must be the owner's son. Front doors were filthy, guess they don't know about windex. Don't waste your time or money, just drive right past the place. read more
