Curtains have holes, toilet was plugged and staff gave me a plunger to do it myself. Breakfast was alright, but bed was hard.

Ok. So. I told the guy behind the counter that my husband couldn't do stairs. Some places (see another review I left) couldn't care less. This place? Bent over backwards to make sure my husband, his catheter, and the meds that make him dizzy were accommodated. No extra charges or fees. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in bug's then asked for refund and was laughed at don't stay here whatever u do don't creep don't use bathroom just keep driving sleep n your car sleep outside lol I'm out 90 dollars but if it saves someone bringing back their bugs it's worth it. read more

I walked up the stairs walking right into a spider web! Yuck! It seemed decent when I first walked inside. There was a bug on the sink when I walked in but it was an outside bug so I figured, no biggie it must've flew in when I walked in right? RIGHT? WRONG. (Keep reading it gets worse) I inspected the bathroom first as I always do and I took a shower because it was late. I did notice that there was a significant gap in between the door and it kept making noise? I put a chair behind the door because it's practically open and as a solo female traveler your worse nightmare is someone breaking into your hotel room during the night. Just as I was about to lay down I noticed 3 more of the same bugs on the ceilings and the curtain. I called the hotel staff which was very INCONSIDERATE and NEGLIGENT. No "hospitality"whatsoever. Was rude and hung up on me. She basically told me her manager was "sleeping so there was nothing she could do." Huh? There is no one at your location at 1AM at a 24 hour establishment??? Didn't offer any help. I asked her at least could she spray the room for me, NOPE. Their customers are WORTHLESS to them. Just dollar signs apparently. As I'm typing this literally another bug crawled in! I can't even sleep tonight and they won't give me a refund! They allowed someone in a truck to take up a total of 4 parking spaces on the side of the building, and it's already a small area to try and park in! Lastly, The remote in the room wasn't even programmed to the television. read more

This is a case of a two star hotel trying their best to be a one star. Pros--Right off I-95, friendly staff at reception desk, breakfast isn't bad. Cons--furniture in the room is terrible. Worn out and just hasn't been replaced in at least 20 years. One chair in my room was rippled and frayed. Manager said she didn't know about it but I can't see the cleaning staff not mentioning it. I showed her a photo and she said she would take care of it. Otherwise the room smelled and looked clean and I'd probably stay there again. But the name "Quality Inn" doesn't really apply here read more

Keep driving. Mold on the ceiling. Grime in the shower. Toilet looks like it's been primed with month old taco bell. The sheets look "well used" and have certain... stains on the pillow covers. However, when you click the channel you want, it pops up "channel not available". You have to go one channel up (or down) several times before the channel works. Requested 2 extra pillows when we made the reservation online. When we arrived at the hotel we were told by the young lady at the desk they "don't have any pillows in the back room". nor was she "allowed" to remove pillows from a vacant guest room. She made zero effort to accommodate our request that we had made in advance. We asked for the manager & were told the manager wouldn't be available until the next day at 4pm. The desk clerk was totally uncooperative, lethargic and had poor customer service skills. read more

Everything was either broken or dirty -- sometimes both! The hotel is horribly outdated, the carpet was ripped and pulled up in places, tub was dirty, there were bugs in the room, leftover food containers on the microwave cart, the lamp was broken in one of our rooms and missing from the other. There was a strong smell of urine in the parking lot and despite requesting a first-floor room for my disabled father, we were put on the second floor, accessible only by stairs. Stairs made of uneven, pitted concrete. Both rooms had broken security locks and only 3 out of 4 key cards between 2 rooms worked. Looked like a decent breakfast buffet but we were afraid of food poisoning based on how gross the rooms were. read more

Keep on driving! The exterior should speak volumes about the interior; It is a run down, hole-in-the-wall. We had two adjoining rooms with two double beds. The springs were beginning to come through the mattress, the heating unit in one room looked circa 1980's. The blow dryer in one room was completely broken at the plug, the other had one setting, no matter how it was switched- Hot. The bathroom had a smell with a blood stain on the wall, the towels were paper thin and barely long enough to wrap around my husband's 36"waist. The sink faucet was warm or scalding hot. The curtains didn't fully cover the windows on the sides, thus allowing sun, or passers-by, direct access views. The upper security lock on the door was busted off both doors, with an 1/8" gap between door and frame. The ice maker on our side of the bldg was rusted and broken and looked as if it had been for months. The carpets were ripped off the walls, with holes up the wall and mismatched paint to cover patches. This was not, by any sense of the word, "Quality" nor does it deserve the 2 1/2 star rating it had! read more

Worst motel stay in a long time. FYI rooms 105 & 107 have an ice maker right outside the window which can be plainly heard at all hours of the night dumping ice. Room had a weird air freshener smell to it and water in toilet was dark brown that gradually got lighter with repeated flushings. Bathtub and sink water was also discolored, but not as bad as the toilet. Breakfast was better than the std. cold breakfast, and included hard boiled eggs although the only hot item was rolled-up ham luncheon meat. Other rooms may be OK, but you take your chances. read more

This is the absolutely worst motel I have ever stayed at. The non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke, it was filthy. There was some kind of grime everywhere, the lamp shades were broken/crushed and the bathroom was disgusting with what looked like poop smeared all over the inside of the door. read more

The room was decent. They could do a better job cleaning the bathtub tile. Maybe try bleach. The manager had CNN on in the morning. They were covering a bombing that included children. There was a family with a small child in the breakfast room so a couple people requested that the channel be changed or volume turned down. The manager got very hostile and insisted that it was corporate policy she was not allowed to change the channel or turn the volume down and we "were welcome to leave". As soon as that family got up to leave she walked over and changed the channel to the weather channel before they were even out the door. She obviously lied straight to our face. read more

Not the best place I stayed but at 1am they had vacancies. The first key we were given the room was actually occupied, and I felt bad we scared the living daylights out of the people there.. We went back got another key and room was suppose to be non smoking but it smelled of cigarettes.Hotel allowed our dog to stay for an extra 18 bucks not bad. Staff were nice and courteous. read more

We travel north to see family several times a year with our dog. We wanted a decent hotel, pet friendly, with a breakfast so we could continue on our trip first thing in the morning. We stayed here in December, both going & coming home. The room was neat enough, sheets looked clean; but the bathroom floor was sticky. We asked housekeeping, and she said the had just cleaned it with "this pink stuff" that they used to do floors. Today, we are staying in the same room, and, wouldn't you know it, the floors were still sticky. Since this exit is our half way point, we will be looking for another hotel. The people are nice enough, but the hotel is going downhill. read more

This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed. The first room the TV didn't work! She wanted a stranger to come in the room to look at the TV NOT! Lots of spider webs and I even saw dead roach! The second room was horrible also no hot water and the water was Brown just nasty! Breakfast sucked! I stayed here for an overnight layover on my way to Tampa. Rm 226. Truth be told the room is not that bad for the price. If you're looking for five stars you're not going to find it here. The room is clean but definitely dated. The woman who checked me in at the front desk was very pleasant and professional. Outside is well-lit. Very bright! Would I stay here for an Extended Stay? Probably not. But if I have a need to overnight in this area again I certainly will. read more

After the reviews we were dubious so we were pleasantly pleased when seeing the room. Yes it is old but clean and it did not smell musty. Check in was easy and friendly. Close to everything we wanted, gas and food. I think you get what you pay for and for the price it was a good value. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was the usual motel fare. Family vacation, after a long ride from Philly i needed a bed fast. Check-in was the best ever her hospitality was excellent i think her name was latonya, anyway she was so helpful and understanding. I got the first available bed A++ Mrs. Ruby was great too, breakfast was hot and she made sure we were comfortable, she was a good conversationalist. Great stay. I will go back if i vacation again. Claim to be pet friendly hotel in Manning, SC, and charged extra for pet. Room smelled so bad that I had a sore throat after an hour. Had room deodorizer so heavily that eyes burned upon entering. Told that that was only available room. Pet owners unite. My pet is cleaner than the desk clerk, and she looked normal. Why are we paying extra for disgusting rooms? Stayed in excellent, no-smell Quality Inn last night in Woodridge, VA! Quality Inn's are desperate for business, yet assume all dog owners will accept this treatment. There are excellent pet friendly hotels in Richmond Hill, Port Wentworth and Savannah. I will plan better next time. Shame on you Quality Inn! read more

The woman at the desk was decent, she didn't try real hard to accommodate any request but she at least was okay. The room itself was like a bedroom, nothing fancy and it smelled of musty smoke and dew. We wanted an inexpensive place ro stay for the eclipse. The chaos of people scrambling for rooms affected our check in but the owner/ manager came in himself and quickly sorted out the problem. He was super. The front desk staff during our 24 hour stay was so nice and helpful. We had king rooms on the second floor facing the highway. They were QUIET, spacious, clean and well appointed. The air conditioning was strong and it was hot outside 97!. Breakfast was crowded but coffee was excellent. With the hotel completely booked they maintained great service. Alll in all this motel is a great place to stop for the night. read more

Hotel was fine, but asked for no smoking room and was given one right next to smoking room, which stunk. Also, be careful about booking online through choice hotels...often times it is non-refundable. We needed to change hotels for a change in travel ball schedule and hotel would not let us cancel or issue credit for later use. read more

Beware! This Choice Privileges motel is a horrible place to stay. Rooms are really run down...door keys don't work, linens with holes and stains, nasty mold smell coming from the AC, roaches in the bathroom and loud noise from the interstate/exit ramp which is located right beside the motel. Their 'hot' breakfast was yucky eggs served with lunch meat ham rolls! There was also traffic in and out of the parking lot all night that made me feel some kind of "business" was going on in the parking lot so I did not feel safe to leave my room after dark. Spoke to several employees who were clueless and rude and to onsite management about these issues. When I asked for a refund it turns out no one at the property had the authority to refund my money cause the real owner of the motel lives in California. The employees were very ugly when I complained and Choice Privileges would do nothing despite them knowing about the many complaints on this property posted on lots of hotel review sites. If you are just passing thru this area you are better off to go 8-10 miles on down the Interstate to Santee, SC where they have much nicer motels for the same money and they are located right on a large lake! read more
